I really really like Sturtevant Auto salvage. they treat me real good. Their used parts are real nice too. last week They gave me a free T-shirt. It is a very nice shirt too. I feel like a bad ass when I wear it. The yard at Sturtevant is super huge and they got lots of cars and trucks. Sometime when I go there I get tired from walking around because the yard is so big. They even have free coffee. 5 stars.

I have been to this place many times over the last 10 years and they always have a good selection of cars. The lot is big enough that I almost always find what i'm looking for. Its awesome that you can pull your own parts to save a few bucks, plus they are fair on pricing too. Its also nice that they have Sunday hours, as most other yards are closed on the weekends.

My tires were in bad condition so I called and a wonderful nice lady; Lorena helped me out. She guided me on the phone to help look for my tire size; I had no idea about till then. She gave me reasonable great prices on all tires. When I came in for my tires later that day, I felt like family, great customer service, great quality on tires. Sold yet another car that was no longer any good to me, to many little problems for me to want to deal with or sell privately. Called and got an immediate quote, asked when they could pick it up was told a 2 hour window for pick up. Within 30 the driver called and said he was 5 min out, paid me and took the car. Even paid me the price quoted over the phone and did not try to take anything off like some other places. Will continue to do business with them, so far they are the best in the business.

Love this place...waaayyy cheaper then any parts store and they don't act like a parts store. I got most of my interior replaced for a very good price..The people there are great...I saw that comment that says "the woman dosnt speak english"....I always talk to her and never have any problems(suprised someone else had issues with her)..she is one of my favorite reps to work with. This is the first place I check for body parts I need. Sure its 20miles away from me but its always worth the drive.

Staff is pleasant but we recently tried 3 times to get a vehicle picked up and the driver was so late for selected 2 hour window. I would stay away from the 8-10am pick-up time because you will be waiting, we've had to cancel each time.

Man at the front desk is extremely rude and does not treat customers adequately and beyond that I bought a COMPLETE engine out of a Subaru with no return or warranty and they pulled parts off the engine. I asked why and the man at the front desk shrugged his shoulders and said I guess they don’t come with. Terrible way to do business.

I WENT TO Sturtevant Auto Salvage WITH MY COUSIN TO GET A DOOR FOR A1999 CADILLAC STS AND WHEN WE GOT THERE THEY TOLD US WHERE TOO LOOK AFTER LOOKING FOR A HOUR OR MORE WE COULD NOT FIND IT !! WE CALLED THEM WHILE WE WAS IN THE JUNKYARD AND THEY SAID ITS OUT THERE KEEP LOOKING SO ON OUR WAY BCAK FORM THE YARD WE SPOTTED ONE AND AS WE KEPT COMING CLOSER WE FOUND OUT THAT WE WERE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE BY THE CAR BECUASE IT WAS A RESTRICTED AREA !! NOW KEEP IN MIND THEY HAD NO SIGN SAYING THAT SO WHAT THIS GUY SAID WE COULD NOT GO ANY FURTHER AND THEN THE GUY WITH THE CATIPILER PICKED UP A CAR AND DROPPED RIGHT IN FRONT OF US LIKE WE WERE NO EVEN STANDING THERE COULD NOT OF BEEN NO MORE THEN TWO FEET AWAY !! SO MY COUSIN AND I ARE PISSED AND TOO TOP IT OFF THE GUY IN THE BIG CATAPILLAR FLICKED ME OFF AND KEPT DRIVING SO I WENT DIRECTLY IN THE JUNKYARD AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND THEY SAID HE WAS OUT AND WOULD BE BACK IN SHORTLY AND I TOLD THE COUNTER LADY THAT IF HE CAN FLICK ME OFF IN THE VEHICLE AND KEEP DRIVING THE LEAST THING HE CAN DO IS GET DOWN OUT THE VEHICLE AND SAY IT TO MY FACE !!! SO THEN FINALLY THE MANAGER CAME IN AND ASKED WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM I'M THINKING HE WOULD RESOLVE IT INSTEAD HE KEPT MAKING EXCUSES FOR HIS RUDE EMPLOYEE !! AND I AGAIN ASKED THAT THE EMPLOYEE THAT FLICKED E COME IN AND DO IT TO MY FACE LIKE A MAN AND THE MANAGER SAID HE WOULD NOT BRING HIM IN THERE SO AFTER WAITING AND WAITING WE FINALLY GOT THE DOOR WE WANTED IT WAS A DISGRACE DISRESPECTFULL TO THE FULLEST !! Like some folks (as evident from the reviews), I'll typically take time to write a nasty review rather than a positive one, but this time I had to take time to write a positive review. I found Charlie at the yard to incredibly helpful, he gets the parts I need quickly and at a fair price. Like most large salvage yards this is a busy place and you need to assert yourself, I can't help but wonder how most people who complain about this place have handled themselves, if they really gave the yard a chance to deal with their issues face to face....Don't be shy, tell them what you want ! Be the junk yard dog!!

Overall a good experience. Employees were friendly enough. They have cheap batteries there only $25. Their tires are $20 each and extra $5 to mount, but they don't balance them. If you do get tires there really look closely for nails before buying them. The tires all have good tread and they have alot of different tire sizes.

Scheduled a pick up for a junker 3 days ahead of time. First Lady I talked to was very helpful. Gave her vehicle information and place of pick up. Was told it would be picked up between 9am-11am. Day of pick up rolls around and I get a phone call to have car ready at 10:30am. Calls me again asking if it’s RWD or AWD. Told her I already gave info and tells me there’s no truck other than one in Milwaukee. Get told it’s about an hour wait. Which I knew it wasn’t. But don’t get a call for 2 hours saying they were about 20 minutes away. Never doing business with them again and will definitely not recommend to anyone. Will be going to a different location from now on

Horrible experience! Called to set an appt for a pickup, was offered $275 and accepted. Informed dispatch that the car did not run, was in an underground garage and had a flat tire. J They sent a driver (who was very pleasant) but was not equipped for any of these issues. Long story short, dispatch claims that they didn’t know any of these things, told the driver that I must remove the car from the garage myself, and I still have a dead car sitting in my rented parking space without the payment that they promised. Do not rely on this company.

I always call ahead of time and ask specific details, andd pricing. Although when I show up for a part they always raise the price from what they told me. As for today i was told they would buy a vehicle I have for 240 with the title as is, cause I did not register the vehicle to my name. When I showed up they came up with a different story saying that there would be a 3t dollar fee. This company likes playing games and doing a bate, and switch.

My name is Jaime Reyes and today Thursday July 27,2017 I had a bad impression on a employee that works there at the front desk. I had the ask another employee the name of the person who worked there. I don't know his last name but his name is Charles and he was being a very rude racist man I asked for some parts and he the audacity to answer me in a very rude way. So I went over to a lady employee that was there so that she can attend me, and Charles went over to her and I and started talking to her in racial slurs. I've personally been going to this junkyard for over how many years and this isn't the first time that this man has been treating people this disrespectfully especially the Hispanics. I have no problem with going to the junkyard all the prices are reasonable and I am satisfied with the majority of the employees but I am concerned about that man Charles treating people the way he wants to treat them especially if they are not his race.
