As one of the few remaining salvage scrap yards left in Wisconsin, this one does allow you to walk thru to search for your part, (plan for a field trip) there is definitely treasures here and a nice assortment of old makes and models galore ! All the crew are always very informative and helpful, Special "Thanks" to Mark for getting the wheel off that mid-90s Dodge mini van so quick today, I myself didn't really want to tackle it, so I'm glad I asked. Thank You to all and I'll be looking forward to the next year and doing more business

Made a quick stop and was impressed by the environmental mess. Everything it's organized by make and I found the part I wanted. However, my tools couldn't break the bolt and I'd cut myself on something. You'll step over and around puddles, weeds, shattered glass and an assortment of metal and plastic.

went here just to look around and to see what was up. i'm Mexican and the guys that work here look like the type of guys to beat me up because of my skin color. nope they were pretty nice to me. the vending machine even ate my $1 and i thought they would question me but nope just handed me another $1 and said try again. i probably will be buying my parts for my 1998 ford explorer here.

Selection seemed fine. Staff seemed pretty friendly. Wanted $20 for a somewhat damaged fender liner. A new fender liner (non-OEM) is $8.18 for a left and $10.34 for a right from RockAuto. I'll be ordering it from them.

Wide selection of cars and well-organized, but triple-check the prices before you drive all the way out to the yard. I was quoted a price over the phone that was higher once I got there. Prices can also strangely be higher at the yard than at their inventoried store in Madison. Each location blames the other for any mistakes and says they're not responsible.

It's an amazing thing...junkyards are full of potential and dreams. That being said, I know others have higher prices, but it hurts to pay so much for junk. I'm thankful for them however and the redemption of parts from automobiles to bring life to others. I'll visit again, with the caveat: bring me the deals! Bundle to save more on your transaction. Bring your tools and take the parts off yourself: it's a growing experience.

I wish I could give negative stars. Let me start off by saying this is my local place to get any part I need. I can't count how many things I've bought over the years and had a good experience. Well, I bought a prius battery to replace mine for $800+. They said it worked great. I installed it and it was worse than the one I was replacing. Took it back and asked for a refund as I'd already bought a rebuilt one with a year warranty for half the price. No refund. Yes it states "no refund on electrical items". On the receipt. Were not talking about a $15 radio or retractable mirror. $800+ is not just a random buy. It should work for that amount. I was given one three years older in trade. Its a doorstop. I fixed a lot of customers cars and my own personal vehicles with parts from them but will no longer use them. Would you go back to a business if you found out you got an $800 pile of Dookie? I've asked repeatedly for a refund but they're only interested in cash not being reputable. I will no longer recommend them. Anyone interested in an $800 hunk of garbage? Go buy one at Schmidt's. They'll sell you anything without batting an eye while saying "yes its in great working order". "Hand over that cash." All I wanted was my money back.

It's a big yard, it gets really muddy after the rain so you may want to go in dry weather. the prices are fair and the people were nice. They're not super fancy there just average guys

Rude d-bags working there. Asked them where the s10's would be located (since they don't have any kind of directory) and the old guy at the counter gave me some smart a** answer, actin like I was bothering him although it was 10 am on a Monday. just save yourself the time and hassle and avoid this place. They act like they don't want anybody's business anyways.

I went to that place looking for a harmonic balancer for a1995 nissan quest that I could not find in any store. The guy there told me to find the same car and they will pull that piece out for 80 dollars. After looking there was none except mercury villager of the same year and same engine. I asked the old man there and he said I can go for it, well we had to wait for 3 hours and we ended up with a balancer with a bigger OD. I asked another guy there if they could pull one from thousands of whole engines that were sitting in a garage and to be a nissan quest 1995 and he told me to wait after another hour the old man came and when I told him to pull me one from those rusty engines for some extra money he refused and suggested to sell me the whole engine for 700 dollars! I left that piece on his counter and lost 80 dollars. I will never step there again and make sure all my friends know about it. Just greedy people and no help. NEVER BUY A PART FROM JUNK!

Needed parts for my Regal GS, Luckily they had 2 there in excellent condition so I was able to find all the parts I need. The yard is very organized. Prices are fair, I got a $140 taillight assembly for $35. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good quality parts and fast service

Wish i can give negative stars. This has been my second unpleasant visit the first time i figured the main guy was having a bad day and was just been discriminating as a joke. Today 3 of the workers were very disgusting and racist. And the main guy sitting at the desk was very unprofesional and racially discriminating and degrading. I will not be allowed to be treated like this again. for the steep prices i can just order from oreilly where its cheaper has guarantee and i dont have to dirty myself and go through this whole life scaring experience. its very sad and ugly for a family company to treat its costumers this way. I will be contacting the better bussines bureau and hopefully have him stopped from treating people of color this way ever again.

What a neat place. I needed a random piece of a car and the nice young gentleman there helped me search for the exact part I needed. He did some cutting to make sure the piece was small enough to carry and put in my car, and everyone else seemed friendly. I had a tough time describing what I needed because I don't know what all the parts of a car are called, but they figured it out!

Went to get a transmission for my son's 1995 Chevy Lumina. Paid $350. I asked them if they tested the transmission they said they did and it worked. They also said it was out of a car that had only 44K. My mechanic installed the transmission but it was defective and didn't work. So now we have to pay labor twice. The lesson we learned is they are junk dealers disguised as an Auto Recycling facility which is deceptive. We plan to file a consumer compliant against their dishonesty. I would avoid them.
