I went to buy a part. I told them exactly what I needed. They brought me the rattiest part they could find, and insisted it would work. Of course it didn't. Tried returning it, and they said, too bad. After screaming they gave me "store credit", which I knew I could wipe my _ _ _ with if I ever tried to use it- and that's exactly what I did with it, too.

Terrible customer service over the phone & in person. They don't care who you are or what you need & make you pay before you even see the part. In the fine print of the receipt it says that their is no cash refund so if they bring you the wrong part or all of a sudden tell you they don't have it but you already paid for it you're stuck with it or you have to wait till they can find one for you which can take months. Ace auto salvage is one of many places that will help you properly & you wouldn't regret giving your money to. Run away from ROZ

We are in minneapolis and bought a used transmission from these guys. I was sad when it failed. I was more sad when I read their reviews but maybe this place is getting turned around. They did send me another transmission and customer is a happy camper that he has his fine 1989 lincoln running again. DO IT BIG MA FASKAZ!!!

Was in a very tight situation needing a Rim for my small truck....asap! Was close to their yard from another place where I was getting new tires put on, but 1 of the rims were cracked. Went in there asking for my rim, was told it would cost $75.00 and would not be able to pick it up till after 3:00pm! the rim I needed was a very common one, and on many running and junked vehicles these days, but again they did not have one. So I had to drive a few extra miles and got a nice Shiny one right away for $40.00 at one of their competitors!! Next time I will go a little south of them on 13th, or the place I got my rim. They had a friend of mine fill out a blank paper with her contact information in it and sign it, tell her it was for her contact information but that turned out not to be true. They also didn't gave grievously different quotes on parts. Roz's had the car over 2 weeks and when my friend called two days in a row after hearing nothing for a week Roz's (Clair, the receptionist) told her to stop calling it's wasn't ready. Also, my friend is black and female which did effect the way Roz's treated her (if you read the other reviews of the place you'll see her experience of racism is not alone). Overall the experience was awful and it took me a while to stop my friend's crying because she had never been treated so poorly. I will be having my friend contact the Wisconsin Consumer Protection, NAACP, and maybe Fox 6. PLEASE, don't do here and support their hateful practices... take your business elsewhere!

Horrible experience! The front desk staff is extremely rude and not helpful. I recently purchased a used tire and rim and paid $116 for it and it went flat not even two weeks later. I took the tire back in and it took them 45 minutes to "look" at it. While I'm waiting, a lady came in and told them that the car she just purchased from them couldn't pass emissions because they reset the check engine light and it came back on after she went to the DMV. One guy told her that they would contact her the following day and the other guy behind the counter told her they were booked for 3 weeks. Absolute crooks! Meanwhile, they get back to me about my tire and told me that they pulled a nail out of my tire. They tried to give me the nail, while also trying to keep my tire. I asked for my tire back and immediately took my tire to Ray Tann, 980 W. Oklahoma and they checked my tire and informed me that Roz' s had lied about the nail (there was no indication of a nail puncture, only a buldge). Ray Tann sold me a brand new tire and put it on for $90/ $30 if they have a used in stock. Roz lied to try and sell me another overpriced tire. Horrible business practices and BBB will receive a similar complaint.

My boyfriend called ahead of time making sure they had a certain brand a rims for $50 but as soon as he walks in because of his race they denied him the rims and lied saying they never spoke to anyone! They treated me wrongly a few months ago and now they are doing the same to him. This place deserves to get shut down for its terrible service! Claire is the worst of them all! Wow did I get ripped off. $300 bucks for parts for my 2003 convertible. They can get that from the convertible top alone. Car had brand new breaks and tires. All just done costing me $1500.00. They apparently don't know what I do for living. And they think I'm dumb cuz I'm female and don't know about cars. Lots of bad reviews are coming their way.

It was defective and I took it back in. The fat white guy with the black hair lied to me. I went to ROZ looking for a side mirror and tail light.They wanted $110 for the 2 parts which seemed quite high. Then the lady behind the counter demanded I give her the money. I asked if I could see the parts first before I bought them and she answered with a firm NO. I walked out at this point and got my 2 parts for $30 cheaper at another local salvage yard and they let me see them first and even cleaned them up a bit with a rag. DONT GO TO ROZ

I called to locate a motor and I spoke with Jessie and he was so helpful! He went above and beyond what I had called for. He called a dealer ship to make sure the motor he had would work with my car. He also looked around to make sure that the price he was asking wasn't unreasonable. He also went as far as trying to help me locate other motors around the state to try and save us money. Honestly, I've been coming to this place with my family for years, but the condescending attitude I just received was unreal. Not only was one of the regular workers rude, but the Owner literally wanted to act as if me, the CUSTOMER is wrong. The point I was trying to make, is that the guy helping us initially had a very condescending attitude. Hey, maybe he was having a off day, but I've worked in customer service for 10 years and I would NEVER ever treat my clients that way and on top of that IF I DID, My Boss or OWNER would then step in and apologize and not act as if what I am saying is completely unfounded, hell wait until I walk out the door and call me a crazy broad....but seriously, to your customers faces you should be trying to make them happy. The man that finished helping us, I believe his name was Dean, AMAZINGLY nice. Was outside joking around with us. It was incredibly refreshing to have him take a step back from my initial complaints and still be so cheerful and helpful. Dean you are a sweetheart! Thank you again!

Stopped by to ask for a rear axle (this type was common for issues of not having the fluid changed and would cause the gears to shatter). So I ask if I could see inside the axle before I buy it.the guy at the counter said sure. Then was told by another guy that I could not unless I buy it first.then went back and forth about he would bring it out to see it and kept asking me if I wanted to see it. I told him im not going to pay for it unless I see it first which he undetstood why i wanted to see it first it had 170k miles on it. He got rude in trying to force me to buy it before I see it when he well knows what I ment when I explained this issue with these rear axles is common and he still wanted to be rude about him wanting to let me see it but still wouldn't. I been master automotive tech for 2 yr and a auto tech for almost 15. This guy was flat out rude. Just like last time I was there.these people don't want to have a welcoming business and support the community in which they are open.then so be it. My shop WILL no longer be doing business with people that can't take 2 minutes to have a decent conversation with a customer in a respectful manner. If you don't like your job go do something else besides customer service.

You will have to pay for your part in advance and then when they bring it out tough,its tough s*** if its broken unusable condition, then you gotta go through some big process of undoing your payment, and they won't even apologize to you for not producing a part that's usable after all that pre paying and treated like a dog. ,They should check the parts out before they take your money. But they won't even if you beg them, They won't even take the part off in advance,until you get there with the cash, so You can't just call up and say have it ready ahead of time. You'll be waiting an HOUR for your PREPAID Part and they don't even know if its a good one while you wait you find out at your expense and waste of your time, that We Dont Have Any Good Ones in our yard! Arrogant snooty and inconsiderate are the first words that come to mind after observing them in action. Well anyway that's my experience mostly every time there. But on the good side if you don't mind the treatment and they do have a part that's good at least bottom line you got your part. AND like I read in one of the reviews all the good reviews are probably written by people from ROZ them selves don't trust everything you read from them, especially about how nice they are. (are not)

July 21, 2001 Everyone has an opinion. And the problem with most reviews is that you only get one side of the story. For myself, personally, I purchased a car and was treated with respect, courtesy, and treated very well. Before I took the car home, Rick, one of the owners mentioned that they found the alternator not charging the way it should. He told me to bring the car back the next day and they would replace it for free. He didn't have to say anything. I've dealt with people who would have let me drive off and quote "Buyer beware!" I will recommend Roz's Auto Salvage to others!

Wow what an experience. Based on a recommendation of a friend of mine I call Roz for a part that I needed for my nephew's car . I had to wait for apx 30 mins just to be told that the part that they had in stock and had sold me didn't actually work. They did offer to order the part for me however it wouldn't arrive until monday and who knows if that part would be faulty as well. I live on the northside and to travel 35 mins all the way over to the southside after calling first to see if they had the part in stock just to wait another 30 mins only then to find out that they don't pull and test the part until you arrive was very frustrating, especially when I found the part at another place that had it for half the price already pre-tested and on the shelf with a wait time of less than 10 mins for the entire exchange along with a 90 day warranty. Talk about a blessing ..So I guess I actually should be thanking Roz for the inconvenience and for totally wasting my time . I would have never found the other business if it wasn't for them and their

Horrible. Bought a Honda and as soon as I got it home check engine light came on. Transmission started to go out, shifter got stuck and the ball joint broke and this all happened in less than a month and a half.

I have gone to Roz's here and there and I have to say that they have always kept their word and are honest. They are reasonable and deserve a lot of credit for what they do. I am a happy customer and I plan to come back again and again because they are trustworthy. Most places are NOT trustworthy and take all they can from you. If there was a way to give no stars this would be my rating. A man answered the phone, seemed helpful. I explained what I was looking for, then the phone went dead. When I said Hello, he replied with "if you would just wait I'm looking" . Okay so maybe everyone has a bad day so I let it go. The phone went dead again.... Then came back and said. I don't have it here but I can get one for $179.00 & he can only guarantee the mechanics not the look. I then asked a few questions, when he didn't respond to my questions i began speaking again. He then said "if you'd stop interrupting and talking over me i could actually help you" I could have waited longer for him to answer my questions but he could have acknowledged my questions, then said he was working on an answer not just left dead air. I've good luck in the past with Roz's but this time was not great if not terrible. Looking for a heat control switch for a 93 Integra. Waited for 45 minutes plus driving 15 miles each way to get there finding they didn't have the right part. Roz swore she loved 90-93 integras and the part was correct which it wasn't even close stating it came from a 91 Integra. I've owned a 90LS, a 91RS and now 93RS Integra and know this four year series better than most. I don't mind an error, it happens but I can't accept poor customer service by lieing, telling me the part is correct. That is not acceptable and extremely insulting. I may not ever go back again.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could!! scam artists & crooks! I see lots of people feel the same way on here! You can tell they don’t care about any of their customers by just the way they speak to people. They finger point after they sell faulty items and even argue with people who post their opinions and reviews of this place.

$100 for a 2010 Camry rim are you kidding!! This is not an alloy wheel! Rims used to be $25! I have had some luck in the past here but their prices have gotten unreasonable. I have much better luck with a free service called u-need a part dot com Junkyards will contact you and compete for your order.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They sold me the wrong part. Then their sales rep Dean Meier not only was EXTREMELY RUDE but also ordered the wrong oart again!! I have been waiting a week to vet the right part because they dont do refunds. AVOID AT ALL COSTS THIS PLACE SUCKS!

this place is a rip, their parts are overly priced and no good. the owner should be ashamed of himself for trying to sell junk to everyone they wont even test the parts or let u inspect the the parts for yourself. you would be better off buying parts online even if it gets to u a couple of days later, but at least they would be the right parts that you need for your car and in new condition for the same price this place is trying to sell garbage

BUT the owner personally called and explained the issues that made me feel better about this company. Would I recommend them......YES especially when the owner would take time out of his day to address your concern.

Please read. My car was broken into and they replaced my passenger window for $75, next day. They told me they'd call me when its done so I had called around closing and they told me it was fixed earlier in the morning.... Honda tempered glass and everything, legit. Cheap but mediocre service. If you call, you'll be on hold for 10-20 minutes. Purchased a distributor (installed it myself) for $125 and it was malfunctioned. No power goes to it. It looked like the distributor came from LKQ scrap yard half a block away, oil on the outside and everything. I was interested in buying an electric seat and they estimated $125 but they don't want to install it. Also, they said that "there is no guaranteed on the quality of the seats. You pay in advance, they receive it, its yours, no returns on stains/rips. I guess from all the reviews, they love to set their prices at $125. Never buy parts that they don't install. If you do, it will be straight from LQK scrapyard, not tested before sold.

Purchased a wheel at a fairer price than other yards and found it had a slight bend that my tire shop did not like. I took it back, they put it on their machine, verified it was bad, gave me a replacement with an apology."It"happens and they made it right.

They broke my rear door latch handle from the inside when i went in for a broken window. I got a rear passenger window installed here. I didn't realize til months After they installed the window I wasn't able to use the inside of my car handle. I went back there back there to see is they would fix the problem they made, and the wow an there said because it was after the 30 days they wouldn't do anything about it. Also, poor customer service. . .

Showed up to pick up a new windshield for our car after calling and asking about it’s condition. After being told it was in good condition we drove two hours to pick it up in Milwaukee. When they finally brought up the part the glass was so dirty you couldn’t see through it. When we finally cleaned all the funk off after sale we noticed there was a pretty sizable crack in one side. Should have looked through the required better before doing business there because they do not do any discount or returns for their damaged sold parts. Total scammer. This place even read my review and instead of asking how they could help/fix the problem the guy called and said it MUST have been our fault because of the way the windshield was handled on the way home. Claiming the windsheild coated in 8 years of grime was inspected several time before sale. We drove 45 minutes to the shop where we cleaned the window that we had wrapped in a comforter and placed on a padded surface in the back of our Subaru. This guy even commented on my review to infer that it must have been our fault with a condescending, unprofessional, childlike attitude. No idea how this place has three stars, with the other reviews they’ve got its not possible that the problem is with everyone else and not the company.
