they dont always follow their own posted hours, the tire shop sells used tires at just about ten percent less cash than new tires, seriously i was able to buy 4 new tires for $400.00 from discount when they said i could buy 4 used from them for $350!. now on to the good if you need cheep parts they are the place to go but dont expect to find and hard to find expensive parts or engines as the employees often pull them themselves and sell those on Craigslist before sending the car to the yard. you will never find any Chevrolet ls1 parts nor will you ever find a BMW ECM or Cluster. one of the employees actually calls a guy and tells him when the new stock is arriving so he can show up and grab all the good stuff lol so if you need a VW glove box this is not the place for you. overall they are better than pull a part when it comes to pricing but not better at always having what you need.

I've been to other pick and pull recyclers and this one is by far the best I've been to. The place is organized, clean, and every car is raised so it can be picked from. The owners charge reasonable prices and are very helpful. You can even search their website to know what cars they have before you go. It even gives you the VIN! Just be cautious not to confuse this place with another one as it is easy to hit the wrong one.

I enjoy this wrecking yard. Great selection of BMWs usually. Sometimes they are not advertised immediately, so go often! The prices are very reasonable. Where pick n pull is a good yard chain, NW / Gunner is a little more like a privately owned classic wrecking yard. I'm not saying your experience will match mine, but they don't overcharge for small plastic things, trims and such. Floor mats are reasonable. Seats are reasonable. Lights are reasonable. They aren't hiding anything. I really like Kathy who typically checks me out. She's kind, friendly and generous. I keep coming back, spending hundreds at a time grabbing parts for my old cars and for friends old cars. Been coming for years and really have no complaints! Grateful for your business, I'm sure it's not easy running a yard and complying with every little thing.

Called about selling my old plugged up Catalyc Converters and was instructed on what paperwork I needed to bring in by a nice dude on the phone. I realized all the other places I called except Northwest didn't seem to care so much for any proof where they came from, other places gave me quotes of $20 over the phone. Long story short I got $100 bucks at northwest and I'm sure the true value is much higher but unless you knew a buyer and was willing to pay for shipping a Recycler like Northwest that actually has a system in place to determine value is your best bet for a quick sale.

I am so amazed by their service, I will definitely be back! My dad and I were greeted by a gentleman as soon as we pulled up. We were asked if we had been helped by two other people while we were waiting for the first man who greeted us to help us. He said he would be with us shortly from taking care of another customer (understandable) which surprisingly didn't take long. We told him we were in need of two front tires. The employee, my dad and I walked around their used lot together and couldn't find any in a size that would fit my car. We went inside and decided to consider ordering new ones. The employee was sooo helpful in working with us and looking up rates for us. The cheapest they quoted was to my surprise $80 per tire where Les Shwab had just quoted me earlier in the day $150 per tire for their most affordable option. Ordering tires, I expected it would take a few days, but no. The employee had texted me the very next day to say the tires were in and I could come by to get them put on. When I got there, he said it would take about 40 minutes to get them put on, but it only took 20. Driving away from their shop, my car felt 1000x better than it did before I got there. What a relief! I am really, truly impressed by their professionalism, helpfulness, knowledge, work ethic and sense of urgency for their customers. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I highly recommend and for as long as Gunnar Auto Parts is in business, my car will never be taken to a crummy shop like Les Schwab again. Thanks Gunnar Auto Parts!

Excellent customer service, they pay more for junk cars than the other guys, and they sell their parts for WAY less than the other guys. If you're willing to get a little greasy, this is THE best place to get your parts. The guys in their tire shop are great too! You never wait to long, and they take good care of their customers

Worse than one star. They told me the place next door didn't sell wheels so I checked on my way out and they did and at way more reasonable prices. So I went back to get a refund and they denied me even though it had been less than ten minutes.

Went to the tire shop twice in one day. I needed a tire replaced on one car and I had tires for my truck I needed rims for it. I couldn't believe the price I paid and the time it took. Very fast works, knowledgeable and kind. It was a great experience for my first time there. They have my business for life here.

Do NOT bring your aluminum to this place to sell. I repeat DO NOT! These guys are crooked to the teeth and will laugh at you and tell you that they will pay only 2 cents for a pound of dirty aluminum. Same price as steel. They used to be more competitive but as with all businesses here in America the greed and the thirst for even more easy money drove them to start ripping off customers. I doubt their scales actually show the correct weight. Long story short. I brought them 200 pounds of good aluminum with some steel bolts or clamps attached to it and they only paid me less than $5. I put $15 worth of gasoline in my truck to get there. I should've dumped everything in a dumpster and not waste my time and money to bring these shy-sters all that metal. Transmission block with a lot of aluminum in them -same thing -2 cents a pound. Radiators - a laughable 7 cents a pounds. Car harnesses - ha-ha-ha-ha - a mere 10 cents a pounds. Isn't this rip-off? For a battery they will give you $4-5 but if you go to their junk yard next door to buy a battery they will charge you $15.

We needed a huge old truck removed from a property we are selling and could find no one to tow it. I called around for days and got the same answer, that is was too big and couldn't be towed away. I called NW Auto Recyclers as a last hope and BEGGED them to help me!! The guy I spoke to was super nice and helpful, I believe his name was Mike. He agreed to come out to take a look (I started my happy dance) and scheduled someone to come out several days later. Justin came out, he was professional, efficient, knowledgeable and FAST! Truck, gone. Good riddance! And tytytytyty NW Recyclers!

I agree with all the reviewers who claim that they have the best prices for parts. Availability of cars and parts is limited but if they have buying from them is a good experience. BUT ... they are scam artists when it comes to buying scrap cars from the public. And for this I would not trust them with any metal recycling business. When I called them for a price quote for a car that I was going to scrap they gave me the numbers over the phone and even though they were not the most competitive prices I decide to bring the car. After all was done and I exited I was given a check and an invoice. Well, seeing that the amount indicated on the invoice was now lower didn't make me happy. I got paid $20 less after I computed the #s. Something to do with "wet", couldn't figure out what that implied precisely. Scrap price are lower these days, about 5 cents a pound and any dollar you get from selling you scrap makes a difference. A $20 deduction is quite steep. I thought Schnitzers were the biggest cheaters in the industry but these guys are catching up quickly. I would ask for a confirmation again before putting the vehicle on the scales. They will catch you off guard if you don't and by the time you realize it the car is already in the yard. Too late.

Things are not always as they seem when you scratch the surface. I'm in and out of junkyards all day long. 5 stars for pricing and no fees/cores 5+ stars for nearly all Employees !! 1 star for overpriced tires. They hand pick sets and charge new price, and wholesale the rest to used tire stores that have the "in" relationship. Aluminum wheels are usually scrapped, wheels and tires are taken off the cars and piled which can make identifying them difficult even for experienced people. A suggestion: pull the premium wheels and tires, but leave the rest on the vehicles for the customers. Negative stars for the main tire guy, he's beyond rude. 1 star for doing as another guy said, staff pulls hard to find parts, diffs, engines, etc, and call friends to get parts too. That goes against a sence of fair play for me. They are under NEW OWNERSHIP. Which is not in it's self bad. But I came here when Schnitzer totally messed up Pull-A-Part sadly. Which was locally owned, cared about long term employees etc. A lotto winner from back east now ownes the place, only time will tell us the outcome. You've heard the good, the bad, and what about the ugly ? I've recently been to the new 360 Auto Wrecking that opened next door, googling "360 auto wrecking" comes back with NW Auto Wrecking. Wondering why I asked. Turns out Jordan heard the new competitions name and ran out and purchased the domain name online. Pretty scummy, and goes way WAY beyond a sence of fair play. So there you have it, junk yard wars the inside story !! PS: 360 Auto Wrecking is now the only locally owned U pull yard around the north end that I'm aware of.....

This is by far the best junk yard I have ever been too. The yard is big and kept very clean and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. It only cost $1 dollar to get in! The best thing is that there inventory of cars changes quite often so the cars that are there still have practically all there parts still on them. Unlike other places were the cars sit in the yard till there is nothing left but the frame.

The staff Rocked! Being my first time there I didn't know what to do... The guy that weighed me was so nice. The Lady running the Big Machine stopped to show me where to park and then helped me unload too. Be sure to pre plan your trip to Northwest Auto recycling, review the map before you take off. I Wish I would have! ☺

I'm very happy to have this facility nearby. The wrecking yard has a decent selection of vehicles. The prices are good, and they don't have all the ridiculous "extra" charges like a local competitor. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. I've been here several times, and usually leave happy. The tire yard has some great deals to be had also. I have scrapped several vehicles here and have always been happy with the process and money paid. The non-ferrous metals recycling area is well organized and very legal. They get your drivers license on file, with the picture and all, to help keep the meth-head copper-stealers in check.

Incredible customer service! They really treat you like family here. I came in with my father in-law for tires and rims. (two of mine were stolen) The tires I had were in pretty bad shape (had to put old ones back on). Unfortunately, they did not have matching rims and tires that would fit my car. I was able to ordered a set at an incredibly fair price. The gentleman helping me gave me a loaner set until my order came in!? I was incredibly grateful. My husband was in a serious hydroplane accident and was in Harborview with very grave injuries. It was imperative I made the long commute to the hospital after work everyday. I didn't share this information with the auto recycler until after I purchased my tires. Northwest Auto Recycler is an upstanding, quality and trustworthy company. I would recommend them to my closest family and friends. ❤

What a scam!!! When I called to recycle an old vehicle they quoted me $300 over the phone. They came by in the afternoon and told me that their office was about to close so they were unable to issue me a check until the next day. I drove to their Lake Stevens location and they handed me a check for $250. When I told them that the gentleman I had spoken to on the phone had promised me $300, they denied it and told me that if I didn't want the check I would have to pay for the towing. BEWARE. GET THE MONEY UP FRONT OF GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
