I was just there today, and don't understand the bad reviews. Both of the guys behind the counter were very helpful and the parts puller was in good spirits even though the part I wanted was a bit of a pain to get off the car. The price for the parts was a very good deal. Highly recommended.

These guys have the best prices on German car parts. Dillan is a bit weird but once you get past that you will get some good deals. Everybody there is quite pleasant and helpful. the little Mexican guy who takes parts off is a very nice person-whatever they pay him is not enough.

I don't know why people claim such rudeness from employees; perhaps they come in there being rude themselves. I have received nothing but great service at this place. Dylan has been super helpful every time, so have the parts pullers. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the leather seats I am looking for but they've had everything else I've ever needed and the prices are fair as well. The yard is a bit messy but what do you expect from an over-packed junk yard in the city. Very pleased with my experience there.

Whenever I need a part for my BMW, Absolute German is my go to place. The service is awesome, they almost always have the cheapest parts, and you don't even have to pull the parts! Their website is easy to navigate and you can find the part you need before you even go there. If it is not on the website call in and double check; the staff is well versed in the german cars they sell and will know exactly what part it is you need and if they have it. I've purchased many parts from them, including an engine that was priced around 50% of what other auto wrecking yards were asking (not to mention they shipped it to me for $20!!!), and I have only positive things to say.

People want 3 things when shopping: Price, Service, Quality. This is a junk yard. You want great service? Go to Nordstrom. Ask them for a window regulator for a 2002 VW Passat.

Ordered a $100 item to be shipped to canada, canadians can purchase $150 and under duty free. A month later I get a bill from fedex for $43! Not to mention I had to call several times throughout the week to keep reminding them. Stay away from this shop, extremely unprofessional

I was trying to source a passenger side front window for a BMW 335i due to a smash and grab. I was on hold for over 10 minutes after my third try to get past their voicemail. When someone finally picked up I inquired about the glass. They informed me they did not have the part and promptly hung up before I could ask about another part I was looking for.

I went to Absolute German today to get a transmission for my Mercedes. When I went in to pick it up I was helped quickly, the transmission was retrieved without drama and I took it home. I had been expecting the worst based on the reviews I'd read and I experienced what was a better than usual wrecking yard experience. I think that a lot of the people that have left bad reviews must have had little experience with wrecking yards. The man who helped me wasn't super outgoing or bubbly, but neither was he rude. He was simply businesslike. That's what I expect and it's what I got. Also, the transmission was the cheapest I found in the PNW (indeed, in the whole USA based on the search I did) and was also the lowest miles. I see nothing here to complain about.

Called earlier today about buying a hardline off the purge valve and was told to come one in because they had a good engine on one out in the yard. Drive 30 miles there to get it and now it's a good motor and they don't want to sell it.... seriously???? Wow. Will NOT be attempting to do business with this company again.

The customer service at this place is horrendous. If you call, you're on hold for over 10 minutes, that's absurd. If you go there you're given no attention until you wait for the workers there to finish their small talk amongst each other. The prices may be decent when they want them to, a phone inquiry is never certain. Again, this place has VW parts, but exhaust all other options before spending your time at this place.

Great place to get parts for your German cars. I have never seen anything like them where they have newer cars, because all the other junkyards very rarely have newer cars. Prices are very cheap. Only thing that annoys me is when they think they know more about my car when I've worked on so many cars just like mine. You can't really blame them though, because I am sure they get a lot of know it all customers who think they know everything just because they watched a video online. They pull the parts for you and they pull them fast. There were times that they didn't want to sell me parts, but it was reasonable because if I took some panels off of a seat then it would lower the price dramatically. Don't listen to the low ratings by the triggered people. I've been here many times and never had any issues. Sure there are little things here and there but you also have to put yourself in their shoes. I've lowered the price before by showing them how much a new part costs. You can't expect them to know every part, they aren't computers. As long as you are reasonable and respectful you will be just fine. They could really improve on organizing their parts because there are parts laying everywhere, but then again it is a very small yard.

Called them up. Asked if they had the part I needed. Guy said he did. I asked him for directions - he pointed me to their website. Fair enough - the guy is really busy. When I got there, he didn't stop working for a second - I don't know anyone who works as hard for their money. He had people calling him constantly and customers there waiting/asking questions/making their purchases. I showed the part I needed to the guy in their yard - he went over and stripped one out of the donor really quick. The guy at the desk charged me half of what he quoted me on the phone. It cost me 25% at this place what it would have cost me at the dealership. I am very happy with the service. Anybody who complains about the service here should go to the dealership and pay 2-10x as much. If you don't need your hand held, this place is great.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!Worst service ever would not help me and was ignored by all 3 employees didnt want to take a hose off so forced to go to another shop. NO longer my go to place will not be going back .

This place is a piece of junk! Not in a good way. Their manager is the biggest a$$hole that I've ever met in my entire life and their prices are as high as it gets, just like the staff there. They treat their cars and parts terribly, leaving engines, cars with busted windows under the rain and then sell you the same parts for stupid prices. Never go there, unless you need something the same day and there is no other place to go on the entire planet. Every time that I've been there - it ruined my day.

Wow a lot of people say they have bad service. Not in my case, they were busy as to be expected, but it's not like I waited all day for what I needed. The yard guy was on it minutes after I arrived ( give that man a pay raise), paid for my engine, asked the quickest way to the 5 and I was gone. Thinking some of the bad ratings are from people who are a little to catered to.

Absolute German is an absolute nightmare. I was completely disrespected with racial slurs by an employee named Steve. I asked to speak to talk to a manager and was hung up on. My order was not sent out the day they said I was. And when I questioned about it I was disrespected . Do not do business with these people. They r foul ugly junk yard people with junkyard attitudes.

The guys were cool, not a very good experience however. Called to check for a part, Drove through an hour of traffic to get there, and once i got there they told me I’d have to wait until the inspection people were gone even though they had been there all morning. They could have told me earlier. I did not have time to sit around so one of the workers said that they could take out the part and save it for me. Called back the next morning and they said it was sold. Unfortunately It is likely that i will never return to get parts for my Jetta.

Service is marginal. Been there a few times and everytime I call it takes them forever to respond regardless if they are busy or not. Holiday hours are not posted on their website. Everywhere I look it says they are open but no answer or special holiday hours posted.
