This place has the lowest scrap price offerings in the state. They stay in business thanks to people who don't know any better than to check pricing around town. When calling today about how much it is per pound for batteries they told me $0.13/pound. You can drive five minutes down the road to another scrap place called Recycling Partners and they're currently paying $0.23/pound. Their hours suck but still that's ten whole cents more! A single battery can easily weigh 50 pounds. You bring a couple batteries in here you get about $13, pretty much anywhere else you get about $23. Another interesting thing is they don't advertise anywhere on their website or property what their prices are. You have to call and ask. Anywhere else (that's big enough to have a website at least) you can go online and get up to date pricing. Just stay away from these guys.

Beware of this facility. Wednesday I took 16 lbs of cans, the woman laughed and only paid me $1.45.that's .09 a lb. I called around, all other places are giving,.33.

Great place to find used parts for automobiles and good prices for the parts that your buying. Plus you take the part off the vehicle yourself which gives you the opportunity to decide if you want that part or not.
