I called Sam's Auto Salvage and asked Josh, I believe that is what the Gentlemans name is and asked him if they had a part I was looking for,he told me that he didn't have the part but told me where I could get the part I was looking for locally.I called the place he told me about and love and behold they certainly had it.Not often does a business send you to a competitor And for that I give them 5 stars that was very honorable,!!!

The guys at Sam Auto Salvage are stand up professionals. I bought an engine from them and had it shipped to Colorado for replacement of the original. My mechanic attempted to install the engine but noticed that the used one purchased from Sam Auto Salvage was bad. After I was able to prove this with some pictures of the issues, Sam Auto Salvage refunded me in full. They stand behind their warranty and I would buy from them in the future because I know if something unfortunate like this was to happen again they will take care of it. Great to find a parts yard you can trust!

If you can find another buyer please do so! I was quoted one price then told something totally different when they arrived an hour late. The tow truck driver made up excuses about having to pay for his fuel and he has to deduct for fuel cost. Bottom line is they are unprofessional and liars.

Searched and searched for parts for my truck, found Sam’s in Charlotte. I contacted them, they were extremely helpful over the phone, not to mention their very good reasonable prices. I decided to purchase from them even though I’m 2hrs away. I arranged payment and they sent pics of the parts to make sure it was what I needed and only then they proceeded to charge me and have the parts ready fo me to pick up Saturday. I will definitely be doing business with them again!

I own a repair shop in Cornelius and did not know of Sam’s, located next to Eastway Wreckers I must have overlooked them through the years. I had an oddball need and their staff was happy to help. The part was just as they described and priced far lower then anyone in Charlotte. It looked like they had a large selection when I went to pick up my parts, the staff were very nice and saw me right away. I look forward to using Sam’s in the future, they will be my first call for my next need.

They made me wait 3 hours to come and get my car from the time they said that they would!!! unprofessional, every time I asked how far they were from my place they would say just give me 30 minutes I'm on the way!! and thirty minutes turned into 3 hours and still no sign of them!!

Don't waste your time calling this guy, he's the most unprofessional business owner I've come across in years. I spoke with him initially on a Thursday to come pick up a car and we scheduled an appointment for that Saturday morning. The time came and went without him showing up and when I called he said he would call his driver and call me back. Two hours later, and no phone call from him, I called and he said that he couldn't get his driver on the phone. He then re-scheduled another pick up with me for Sunday morning at 10:00 and promised me that he himself would be there to take care of everything. Well, guess what happened. He didn't show up at the promised time. I've left several messages and I still haven't heard from him. There are tons of companies that provide this service, don't waste your time waiting around for this clown. Save yourself the headache and try one of the others, on any level, customer service should be important to any business owner. This guy has no customer service or respect for those who wish to do business with him. Good luck, Sam, you're going to need it.

TERRIBLE PEOPLE. Upon entering with my mechanic the guy working the check out asks us for a cigarette. We don't smoke so the answer was no. While searching our part another employee comes in with a cigarette in hand, so my mechanic says there's your cigarette guy and points to his co-worker. The co-worker looks at us and laughs and says he's too young to smoke, he's only 16. The 16 year old rings me up for transmission, takes my money and gives a receipt and says to keep it in case there's any problem with the transmission so I can return it for a refund. We load it and leave. My mechanic gets the transmission in my car and it had an internal leak coming from one of the pumps on the transmission. Meaning the transmission is useless. He removes the transmission and we bring it back, and they REFUSE TO GIVE ME A REFUND, despite bringing their transmission with the receipt of payment. There are "terms" on the back of the receipt with a customer signature line that their employee was supposed to go over with me and have me sign that explain their return policy. Mine wasn't signed, because it was never gone over by the guy kid who was more focused on cigarettes than doing his job properly. At the end of the day I'm out $300 for the cost of the transmission, PLUS the costs of paying my mechanic to install and then remove the faulty transmission. They were so disrespectful that my mechanic got in a screaming match with Sam and the lady that seems to be his manager. Court case pending. Don't put yourself at risk of ending up in my position. Spend your money with a different salvage yard.

Just recently I had searched for somebody---anybody to pick up my old 2000 Pontiac Bonneville. Didn't really care how much they wanted to pay I just wanted it GONE !!!! LOL......Anyway I found.....through ""Peddle"" a person that agreed to get my car & pay me $147. We scheduled a day and an approximate for him to come get it. I started calling....as I said I would that day a few hours early to confirm. Between 11am and 3pm I called SEVERAL times and NOBODY answered the phone and I was unable to even leave a message. I GAVE UP and searched again for someone else. I found ""Sam"". We had a nice talk, we agreed on a day & time & price..... though it was a bit less than I had previously been offered I didn't care. The point is.........He was VERY courteous....showed up when he said he would....paid me and was on his way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business for your JUNK CAR REMOVAL or WHATEVER service he might provide. THANKS SAM !!!!!!

Don't use these guys told me they would pick my junk car up in an hour and 3 hours later no show and no call until I called them and the person on the other end of the phone call said they got behind doing work at the shop and would be there in a hour. It's been 30 hours and no call no show still. So I went with some else and they came within an hour after I call them. If they didn't want to do the job should have said it at the beginning but they didn't. Very unprofessional. Don't use these guys like I said they will give you the run around.
