Came looking for an LS Engine, through idle chat with an employee, come to find out that one of the "parts pullers" has some "under the table" shady stuff going on.. Supposedly there is a Guy in the Local Charlotte Area that has "Dominion" over the 5.3/6.0 LS Engines due to the fact that he pays the parts puller "Extra money" to snatch the motor and trans as soon as the Vehicle comes in, that way its already gone before the vehicle makes it 5 minutes into being on the lot. It must be nice to have some Mafia-style One palm greases the other Buddy buddy bull crap going down. I am very disappointed by what I heard and it came from the Horses Mouth of a Known Employee, NOT a Customer.

I’ve visited many scrap yards & self serve yards this is by far the Worst service ever, they rather throw away parts then work with you, didn’t read the fine print on the receipt and brought cores back from a previous purchase to find out I was 10 days late so they still took my part but no credit or adjusted value at all on the new parts purchased, being a owner of several businesses I would never recommend someone. They talk to you in a way that you don’t ever want to come back. My 3rd time there & I am done. I left so upset that I had to post this. There’s plenty of places where to spend your money and you’ll get way better service. Don’t waste your time

I've been here quite a few times, and the only thing that keeps me coming is the newer inventory. Other than that, the prices are crazy, and they will overcharge you from their posted prices. Their admission has now been raised to $3, and they won't do anything for you for something that isn't listed in their price list. I tried to buy a pair of side marker lights and was almost charged $15 for them. That's a $4 part used... best they could do was 10% off and no warranty returns. Not worth the trip unless they're having a 40% off sale (which will probably go down to 20% soon going by their track record)... I'll happily give my business to Pull-A-Part on North Tryon.

Worthless. They don't even rate a star. Since I'm a disabled veteran, I asked if I could use a transmission jack to get a transmission out. Unable to get it out without using one due to a disability and they won't even let you do that. Thinking I ought to sue them for discrimination against disabled people.

Very friendly staff, help u with anything u would need (aside from the pull urself part of it), even help with saving some money by asking if u need a part that's attached to another or not. Wheel barrel Access if needed. Drink and snack machines near the front that I've never seen a problem with, so I would say pretty well maintenance. And pretty easy navigation on the website to check if they have what u need before u head out there for no reason. All in all satisfied customer by my standards. 5 STARS!!!

buyer beware...I went through the line for 3 different purchases in 1 day. Some of the cashiers are fair but others will make up their own prices on the spot. They have a completely different price list than what is available online to the customers and will just add random prices. The yard is paved which is nice but $3 at the door, Enviro fees and core charges plus premium prices for many items make it worth checking full service salvage yards first. Deals can be had but make sure you check all your pricing before paying.

I don't understand why the prices of something in the junkyard is the same price of the same thing brand new. Also, why not try to make deals to get rid of parts. The hispanic woman told me an auxiliary rear heater water pump is $57 with core but a mechanical water pump is $8. On eBay the same auxiliary water pump is $37 brand new. I tried to explain that this pump sends water to the rear heater core and there wasn't a set price for an auxiliary water pump. Even after telling them this, they were still going to charge me $57 plus tax. Also they were going to charge me for the cut holes on the pulled pump, "Talk about money-hungry people." I even asked for a discount to get the part lowered, but they didn't want to hear it, as if they were losing money. LKQ is a great place to get affordable parts, but I think they need to update their parts list and add the price of the actual part instead of an universal price.

Overpriced, too many fees, to many core charges. A $20.88 strut turns into a $27.84 bill. $3.50 core, $1.58 environmental fee, $1.88 tax. I know you guys think that core charge makes people come back, but I live an hour away and it's not worth the trip. I'll take my business elsewhere until the core charges stop.

Good place to find what your looking for(car&SUV parts)not everything on the lot is junk (4/22/18) I seen at least 4 chargers with no body damage for the taking ,seats,wheels, console parts ,SUV (I was there for Cherokee parts) but I've found stuff for my suburban & Nissan also if you don't wanna go to pull-a-parts and your on the westside of Charlotte LKQ is what you need

Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because their prices seem to be a little higher then Pull A Part, however I don't mind it because their lit is as clean as a salvage yard can get. $3 to get in, I bought 2 rear lift supports and a OBD2 connector with 6in of harness. $20. So $23 total beats the autoparts store, but if you can wait couple days AMAZON would've been cheaper @17.99 FREE SHIPPING.

Anti has really turned this place around!! Finally fair (fairest around Charlotte) scrap prices for vehicles and because of that the yard IS PACKED WITH AWESOME STOCK! All scrap vehicles are already off the ground ready to have any part as easily accessible as possible. And the rows are neatly organized and all vehicle rows looked to be sitting on amazingly good condition pavement. No gravel or dirt junk yard here without hoists etc ...no this is a true do it yourself salvage yard well organized and well kept inventory now thanks to Anti!
