I went and purchased a window from here, an 03 model, I had an 02. When I retured it, I spent 3 hours searching and removing the last one they had. The young girl, at the counter was as sweet as could be and then this jerk of a supervisor says I can't return the one I purchased because it wasn't marked, even though I had the receet in my had. Telling me I had to purchase the window i needed. I was MAD!!! I will never go to that location again.

Joshua Davis

If you don't mind getting your hands dirty and walking around looking for parts you didn't know you wanted, this is the place to go! Friendly staff, easy to get to, and fun place to be!

Okay, I dreaded coming back here for a swap. I lost my receipt and was ready to do battle.... I walked in and was greeted by Manny at the counter... He spoke to Dana about helping me out. Not only did they take care of me he was completely professional and empathettic....!!!! Manny recommended me to sign up for a loyalty card so that way all my purchases would be on file so I would be all set if I ever lose my receipt again...... A+++ Thank you so much for taking care of your customers... This is the way to run a business.... Thank you Dana & Manny

The truck was loaded with watermelon and canaloups, peaches, Tomatoes, Green beans. The ower only charged me $75.00 to bring it to me on a Saturday all together I payed $225.00 I gave the driver $25.00 for him to get something to eat on the way back home . Poor services very high prices and just a straight rip off you come out better and cheaper buying off of ebay. Very disappointed in the business and would never recommend it to anyone, good luck if you plan to spend a day at such a bad business! Just very let down by the experience there!

Robert Beane

They made me pay full price for a broken mirror for my truck. I had planed on gluing the glass til I can find a better one. Cause they're hard to find. But full price for a broken on. Wow man wow

Greg Robinson

Great place to get your parts for a price that is affordable. Huge inventory and very helpful staff makes this a great place to shop.

Raser Star

They told me they had parts, drove all the way to Greer from cowpens , walked through most of the yard in HOT weather just to find out the one thing I needed isnt there , then they say "oh that sucks" 3 bucks entrance fee my a**

Great place to find replacement parts. Just need to use your eyes and pick the best condition part you need that you kind find. I've rebuild two Saab 9-3 convertibles thanks to lkq and will continue to do business with them .

I Move to SC from California 10 yrs. ago where their was a lot of pull a part places there, so when i heard that they were going to put one in Greer rite by my house that was a dream come true. This place is awesome, i work on cars alot so this is perfect..One thing i wish they get back is the $20 annuals passes. cuz some times i go there 10-15 times a month, and wish they had golf cart to get around.

Great pick your parts yard, lots of vehicles to get parts from. I had a wrecked vehicle and it would have cost me about 4 to 5 grand to have it fixed if not more and I ended up being able to go here and pick every single part I needed to replace, even the same exact color to match the rest of my vehicle, for 300 dollars an some of my own time spend doing it and got my car back on the road. A wreck that had my car undrivable. Just call ahead to make sure they have plenty of that particular car for your to pick parts from because they have no way to tell you what parts are left on those vehicles. All in all great yard for parts at great prices.

Michael Jenkins

Quick and simple service

Tammy Rogers

Takes a lot of walking and looking, liked it before when they actually grouped the cars by there models and not by manufacturer makes it alot harder to find the vehicle im looking for. But i enjoy being able to go get the part I'm looking for and see it before i buy it or having someone else go and pulls it without me seing what it looks like or what car it came from! Clean and organized as best as can be..

Jerry Stevens

I was not at all concerned about the nominal $2.00 admission charge that seems to annoy other reviewers. I will say, however, that I didn't see that on the website. They should disclose that online so it's not a surprise. You bring your own tools to pull your own parts. Be prepared to have your toolbox searched. I didn't mind but some people seem to. The other thing that they should disclose on their price list is the "environmental fee". I paid $3.50 for that but I don't know if it's a flat fee or depends on the purchase price. The price list on the website did disclose the core charge but I needed a tailgate and didn't have one so this is part of the price. It's unclear to me what they would do with a broken or dented tailgate if I had one. Core charges at most parts stores are for things like alternators which can be rebuilt. One more negative: The cars and trucks are only loosely grouped according to model and type of car. I'd expected some kind of grid showing, say, that the Chevy S-10 I was looking for was in "B-12" or other designated square. Nope. It's a big lot and I spent an hour just finding a suitable Chevy S-10. Fortunately, it was a bright dry day. I don't think I would want to be on that unpaved lot after a big rain. The website shows what cars and trucks are in their inventory but there is no way of knowing before you look if they still have the part you are looking for attached or if a previous customer pulled it off already. On a positive note, the guys who worked there were friendly and polite. For all of my minor complaints, I still give it a 4 out of 5. That's because I would rather go pull my own part than have someone do it for me - or lie and say it's unavailable because they don't feel like doing it for some nickel and dime item. Salvage yards are not known for their customer service. And the prices are good compared to the alternatives that I know of. Make sure you ask them to mark your part for return. You have 30 days to return a part if it doesn't fit but only if the part is marked. LKQ isn't perfect but I'll be back the next time I need a savlage part for one of our cars or truck.

I think $2.00 is a great price to search for parts. It sure has saved me a lot of money shopping there and not to mention the grouping of their inventory. Great place.

No number to contact directly. I'm looking for part not inventoried and told by the 800 number in California go 20-30 miles out of my way to ask if they might have the part. What kind of pick your part has no number to actually get a hold of someone instead of driving all over the country asking I mean I already bring my own tools and make it easier for them to get the $$$ parts off that they want while getting a small $2.00 part off for myself. What a waste of a company

Ricky Spaulding

This place is absolutely amazing. The most friendly staff that I've seen in a long time. They keep everything well maintained and will go out of their way to help you out. Definitely will be going back to this place. 10/10

When I first visited this place I didnt know you had to pay a $3 entry fee. I thought I would be able to just go price, and look then decide if I wanted to purchase the parts needed or not. I was not dressed to walk the lot for the car parts. I thought it was a matter of having in stock what you need and you go pay for it, not realizing that you have to remove the parts you need yourself. Definitely not a place for an amateur. Need to know what and how you gonna get it when you roll up. Good customer service tho.

Horrible customer service. On the way in AND on the way out. No signs to direct you to which row. Basically a wild goose chase. Told me they had the car/part I needed, to only find out not one single car was in the yard. Would not refund entrance fee. Not acceptable.

Always a good experience here. Great selection. Staff is always friendly and always fair.

Clean yard (compare to some other lkq yards, and other self service corporations), very good selection of cars , management always try to be fare to everyone. You will not get overcharged for a part here (compare to sister location in Greenville). Customer service is the best (out of 10 lkq(s) that I have visited). Most valuable asset - is the manager, that will help to solve issues that may arise.

Brittany Pitts

Hi i have a question do you have to pull your own part i need a stater and i not think i can do it by myself

William Gardner

Most of the times I've been there, there are just a few parking spaces available. It's not too bad to get in and out of. Driving that is. Lots of vehicles, most of which have been picked through a lot. Expect to find broken glass and plastic in and around the vehicles. Also, some people just rip the vehicles apart instead of taking them apart. You will have to step over or on parts that are either thrown or placed on the ground. Prices are reasonable and the staff friendly. Remember this, YOU will have to remove the part you want. So, bring all the tools you will need to do the job.

wendell hall

Lkq is awesome always have the parts , I've been several times. The staff and management are friendly as can be

Joe Pandolfino

If they don't have a listed price for part Greenville, SC will always price it up in their favor. Greer, SC will price in customer's favor.

jeryl roberts

It has always been a good trip and I almost always get the part that I need, UNTIL TODAY ! The guy that comes around to let you know that it's almost time to close was evidently having a bad day or something because he came thru at 4:35 and said it was closing time ( they don't close til 5), I asked if I could just finish taking my part out because I only had about 5 more minutes of work left and I would be done. He said no, you need to pack up and leave and come back tomorrow and finish. I tried to explain that it was an hour and 15 minute drive each way for me and I only needed 5 minutes, but he almost screamed at me and said " NO, I SAID LEAVE !" And he got back in the vehicle that he was driving and spun gravel which hit me and my son ! So we packed up and headed towards the exit and to add insult to injury, when we got to the building and waited for about 10 mins in line so they could inspect our tool box to make sure we weren't stealing anything, I looked at THEIR clock on the wall on our way out the door and it was still 10 minutes til 5 ! Needless to say, me nor anyone that I know will go there for ANYTHING ever again !

The nice thing is it's a large lot and they have plenty of vehicles. The bad thing is that many of them have been picked through and are just skeletons. Reminds me of the time I saw a deer carcass laying out in the field with buzzards hovering overhead. Lol As someone else said, there are parts and pieces strewn about everywhere that you have to step on or over. Often times it's so bad you can't even get to a certain area of the vehicle. It would be nice if they had employee's go through and clean up the place on a regular basis. The last time I was out I wanted to get to the rear area of a truck but it was like climbing a mountain to even get to it! I managed to run a sharp piece of metal through my shoe just missing my foot. I won't ever do that again! My advice, if you need to come out here, is to wear clothing you aren't real concerned with and wear HEAVY boots! And wear heavy gloves so that you can be prepared to move things! Or bring the rock climbing gear! Lol

A Jacobs Jr

Excellent customer service. Just gotta get there early to find what you need before someone destroys it (ugh!) Prices are very good too. Sign up LKQ online for rewards

derek anderson

I didn't care for the cashier's attitude or the fact he got his marker paint all over my interior trim pieces. Where TF is your head man? I'm not even gonna bother looking at inventory at this location again.

nekkidtuber .

Agree with previous poster toolman. The place was great when Ron owned it. Prices were good and he'd often just give you small things. LKQ hits you for every, and I mean EVERY little thing even when it's a part of an assembly. I've seen parts go up 60-70% in price. Why is there a core charge on a friggin' seat or something like that? Are they rebuilding returned junk seats and selling them here like an actual auto parts remanufacturer? No. Thanks for at least starting to update the price list on Ron's old site so people don't get suckered like I did.

Stephen Bowman

I go to this place at least twice a month and some times more. They provide free wheel barrows to put your tools in and to carry your parts back, only wish they had golf carts to rent out for people like me with a heart condition. Their very good about returns as long as you HAVE your receipt. They keep the place cleaned up as best as you can for a junk yard. If you don't want to pull your own part they have a place down the street where they can have their people pull your part for a fee of course. Ask at the main store on hwy 29 about this service. One of the great features of this place is that you can look in their inventory online to see if they have the car you need parts from. And if you click on say a 97 Nissan maxima they show you a picture of the car and the day it entered the yard so this helps to keep you from making a wasted trip down there. Which brings me to my only complaint. They need to number the lanes for the cars, like a-1,a-2 then maybe b-1 and so on. If you have a Honda your good as they have tons of those but to try and find a 95 to 99 maxima can be an ordeal like I had Friday and Saturday as it took 2 trips to find the car I needed from looking online at their site. They only have 6 maximas at this time in a sea of cars. Now if I looked online and see my car it would be nice to see that it was in aisle a-3 in the import section. Then I can go to that aisle and find the car, as it stands now you might have to make 2 trips and walk a lot to find your car. This simple cheap fix would save people a lot of time and frustration.

Sucked. Didn't have what we were looking for. Didn't have a waiting room or seats in the shade. You should get your $ back when you don't get anything.

Matt Kay

This place sucks now. It was awesome when it was Ron's, now it is just as bad as the Greenville location. The inventory is good, but the yard is an absolute mess. Ron's was clean, and easy to walk... had a guy who's job was to pickup up all the stuff people discarded off the cars getting to the part they needed. Now you have to work your way through the maze of hoods, driveshafts, door panels, etc. Then to add insult to injury, last week when I was there, I get the parts I need, Im covered in grease up to my elbows, and the soap dispenser at the sink is gone. I go inside and ask about it, and the guy at the register says "yeah somebody ripped it off the wall, so we're not going to replace it." So for $3 entry fee, you get cold water and some paper towels. I might as well wash my hands with hopes and prayers.

iMossTheCool

I pretty much found everything I was looking for.

Called for a price for a front fender and was told 26$, pay my 3 dollar cash entry fee find the car and grab the fender, get in line and there is only 1 cashier. Ask the employee at the entry desk to make sure the part was still as quoted, it was 36 (maybe I miss heard the phone call) get to the cashier and my total is over 50 for a single fender. Very irritated and annoyed that I can get NEW parts cheaper, save your time and money if you can wait and get your parts online.

My opinion is this may be a place to visit to save money on auto parts. Gotchaplumber/Gotchahvac

James Laughter

Go here every weekend, even got a year membership ($20). $2.00 to get in the door, and good part prices. Regardless of what the other reviews say, the lot is organized.... Trucks & SUV's / Ford Cars / GM Cars / Chrysler Cars / Foreign cars. If you're too lazy to walk down 10 rows of your section to see if they have a car like yours, pull-your-own-part is not for you. They switch out some cars every week and have no clue what parts they sell out of what cars, so they don't have any inventory... but by you doing the work, you probably save half the cost of going to a regular junkyard and paying someone to pull the part for you. they also have a price list on their website, and on the counter when walk in the door before you pay.

$2 is a small price to pay to go look for what you want. This is a great place to get all kinds of parts, many of which you can't buy over-the-counter, anywhere. When this was still Ron's, it was great. You could walk out with a bucket of hardware and small items for less than $10. Now that LKQ owns it, you get nickeled and dimed for every little screw and bracket. The prices have gone up, and they charge stupid core fees on everything, even lights. They also canceled everyone's annual passes from when it was Ron's, so it's $2 each trip no matter what. So I'm only giving four stars instead of five. Still a decent deal on most things.

Advertises on the websites that they have the part i needed, then when i get there i had to pay 3 dollars to get in get all the way to the vehicle just for all the parts i needed to be gone, it is not a clean and organized yard there are different brands and types of cars scattered through out and there is just parts laying everywhere, then when i figured out that another car would work after hunting on the internet, got it out went up front, they didnt even have a place to atleast wash your hands, i dont get why u have to pay 3 dollars to just walk in and look at the car to not have the parts u need.

The rudest people I have ever dealt with and I would never do business there ever they need to shut them down if I could give them nothing I would

$3 to get in. It's best to look online first to see if they have your vehicle year range. You will also find what row it's on. Each row is marked on side of vehicle (#2) means row two. Found what I needed. Checked out in minutes. They do have wheelbarrows for your use. Must bring your own tools of course. Friendly.

Not your daddy's bone-yard . . . all vehicles are off the ground, generally on steel wheels. You don't need a jack to pull a wheel off. Nice folks . . . who may sometimes be less able to fit your needs/wants into their digitally hand-cuffed inventory, than is/was the case, with old-school salvage yards. Give them a try.

The prices are a little higher than they used to be before LKQ took it over but they're still good people and they keep a good inventory, I really wish they'd stay open to 6 maybe they can in the summer I don't know all in all a good place

R Johnson

Ever since LKQ bought this place out it has gone way down hill. The cars get parts pulled off before they are set on the yard just like Ron's did but you can't pay more to get them. They tell you they sent them out to core but if you have seen the manager and his girlfriend's brand new cars.....well let's just say it don't take no genius to know what is going on. I will drive to Charlotte to get my parts!

Yvette Jennings

My husband LOVES this place!! We joke that he is going to the playground. Everyone is friendly and helpful and I highly recommend LKQ to anyone who is savvy enough to do it themself! Keep up the good work LKQ!

Danny Scott

The website for this location said they close at 6 but would not allow anyone in after 5:30. I arrived at 5:15 and they were closed. The sign on the door says 9 to 5 Monday through Friday. They really need to fix their website hours.

Good selection and prices.

I DO NOT recommended using this junkyard for anything other than losing money on...I just got burned for $292 on a motor I pulled. I installed the motor to find it had no compression, and when I went to return it they would not honor their 30 day return policy despite that I had my original receipt, my transaction records from my debit account, and the vin number off the bought motor to compare with the car on their lot that I pulled it from. I provided all this information and wanted at least store credit, and the owner Johnny replied, "I can override that..." in reference to their policy regarding exchanges and refunds
