Horrible experience...they ignored a cancel tow order from my insurance company, towed my vehicle to their salvage yard and taken as a total loss. Despite numerous phone calls from insurance company to have it sent to (it's original destination) the auto body shop, they stalled and delayed for days. Copart then proceeded to steal all my cd's, cash, sunglasses, damage my dash assembly, and break my radar detector and its hard-wired assembly. After 6 days of my car in limbo, it was finally towed back to auto body shop after being stolen by Copart with none of the items replaced and the dash disassembled. These people are despicable crooks.

My insurance company had my vehicle towed to this location following an accident since they had on site adjustors there. After a couple weeks it was to be towed back to me. After my insurance company gave the order for it's delivery it took an additional week for it to arrive. Upon arrival we discovered a major part of the exhaust system had been cut out. Copart is claiming it was not taken while at their lot. They released my car to a tow company and allowed that tow company to keep it over the weekend. They claim that must be when it was stolen. I will never again trust my vehicle to leave my property while being evaluated and I will never trust this company.

My vehicle was towed here per the request of my insurance company after an accident. They were supposed to pick it up on a Friday but didn’t show up until Monday, late afternoon. After the adjuster looked at the vehicle they were supposed to tow it back to my driveway. I spoke to someone Thursday who confirmed it would be delivered Friday or Saturday at the latest. Because my vehicle was not returned as they said it would be, I spoke with somebody Monday morning. I was then told it would be delivered by end of day and they must not have had a friend in the area. As of Monday evening my vehicle was still not returned. It’s now Tuesday morning, I called again and I’m being told it will be delivered today. Excuse me for not having faith in you. Quite frankly, this place is a joke! Additionally, every time I have called to inquire on the status I have spoke to somebody different however the level of attitude is always the same! Good luck with this place.

Great staff. Make sure you look at the cars Before you buy. ALL public available cars are salvaged. They ALL need work. Based on your experience and expertise please dont take a car too difficult to repair. No one wants a dangerous car on the road. If you dont have any body or mechanical experience..you really have no business buying these cars.

They steal things from your car waiting for inspection by insurance company and then claim they have no idea what you're taking about when you want your stuff back. Lesson learned, clean the car all out after an accident at 3am so they don't steal your stuff

This place sucks. They must have stole my 2 charger ports and aux cord that I had forgotten in my car. They do not take care of your cars even though they are junk, they destroy them even more. They are careless with their actions and thieves. I get it was something small but it is still the fact they took them. I knew damn well exactly where my items in my car were and after they "looked" twice they found nothing so I took it upon myself to come up there and look for myself and the items were not in there at all or where I knew exactly where they were. I do not trust these low life men working for this company. Up yours Copart.

Pick up of car was easy and a smooth process. All we needed was the member ID number and the lot number. They loaded the car for us in just the right spot. We here at DNF Transport look forward to picking up some more cars from the Copart in Cleveland in the near future. (I must say they have a much more organized operation than the one in Houston)
