I purchased an engine from Hazers. I had issues with the cross over and the parts that would interchange, but they took care of those parts when i called, though Jeremy was not fun to work with. After installation i had motor problems almost immediately, with a zero compression cylinder. I then began dealing with different staff, and Kelsie wad great to work with. The motor was warrantied, though with a higher miles motor due to availability, and I replaced it again. The new motor had a head gasket problem, hazers again honored their warranty and covered shop labor to fix it. This wasn't smooth and seamless, however things happen with used components, and Kelsie was great to work with. Daniel asked questions and for some detail and preferred ways to handle things after I'd been told a plan, but he was just trying to take care of his business and ultimately was extremely supportive and honored his warranty, parts and labor twice on my motor, he stood behind his word and promises. I would recommend dealing with Hazers for your needs.

Decent price on parts, part was not the issue. Phone rang forever, the staff were not all that professional. Waited to return my core for 45 minutes. Seems to be too many steps in organizing a fairly simple process. Not my best experience at a salvage yard. I've been to lots of them.

Outrageous prices for junk yard parts. One person working, 4 people in line. The type of service where you feel like your business is annoying and unwelcome. You're better off ordering your part anywhere online and throwing an additional $20 in the toilet to break even with their prices.

payed for a pickup box 2 days ago and was told they would have it off within 24 hours. Called after the first day. Said they need another day. Ok fine. Just called again to confirm it would be ready in the a.m. was told they will need yet another day. No estimate on when they would have it ready. I live over 3 hours away so I needed to know to plan ahead. Guy said the reason it was taking so long was because there was a car blocking the truck in. Apparently it takes 4 days to fork lift a car out if the way and pull a box. Hire some competent sales and yard people and you won't lose buisiness. Don't buy your parts here.

I originally contacted Hazer's for a couple of axles I needed for an old Chevrolet grain truck. I went over to their yard, and found a couple axles that looked identical to what I needed. I wasn't %100 sure they would fit, and I was assured if I had any issues with fitment, they would work with me. Well of course they ended up not fitting, which is totally on me. I went back to Hazer's, and they went above and beyond to try and help me find the correct part I needed. They even contacted some other places to see if they could find the right parts. It ended up not working out, and they refunded the entire purchase price with no problems. Very professionally run place, Kelsey and Duane were more than helpful and courteous during the whole ordeal. I will definitely be back for more business in the future for any of my parts needs.

This is the worse place ever to deal with trust the reviews I didn't and got stung.. Spoke with a worker with this company 4 times about a part I needed I'm 3 1/2 Hours away and made it clear I didn't want to waste a trip... I was told they had 4 parts starting at $800 to $400 made the arrangements to borrow a car and drive the 190 miles to have the guy get there to be told they only have 1 part and wouldn't promise it would even fit... it was a Transfer with 200,000 plus miles and it and jumped from $400.00 to $800.00 dollars. Claimed they hadn't spoken to me or couldn't remember speaking to me. When they asked whom I spoke to and I gave them the name then it changed to another story.... Never did they say I could pay over the phone but blamed me for not putting down a deposit... 4 calls were make about this part in a single day making the arrangements and now i have wasted money by sending someone to pick it up and there wasn't one to pick up... Never Again would I deal with this company all in all my Truck is still broke down and I just wasted $250 due to having to hire someone to make the trip for Nothing... Wouldn't give anyone the ok to get parts from them....

Hauled in a load of scrap. Was asked to back up in. So first I went and removed small debris out of my line. Nails bolts. Backed up to unloading machine. Went to removed final straps from load. Asked to back up further by her. I stated I would rather wait for the operator who unloads to tell me where as a lot more debris was behind me. Then she started yelling. She was not going to be talked to that way and you need to respect my elders. So I turned around to see who she was talking to. Turns out it was me. Completely dumb founded I was. The 2 year old tyrad did not stop there. She kept yelling I may not be your boss but you will respect me. Oooh wow. Dilusional or bipolar come to mind

Don't bother going here this place is a joke and a waist of your time! First I called and was on hold for over 8 minutes before anyone answered. Every time I called back it was the same long wait. I ordered three parts. When I got there (they're two hours away from where I live but had one part no one nearer had) I had to come back because the guy at the desk didn't know what was going on and the one I talked to was at lunch. I asked them to call, which they didn't. So I went back and one part was broken, no one bothered to call and tell me that. Then the main thing I needed, they asked a guy to pull the part and he looked annoyed. Then after waiting on him to come, then waiting for the part (so I thought) I was told it was missing! I cancelled the entire order, I didn't want to wait for another length of time for them to tell me that the third part was also missing or broke plus it was new so I could order it elsewhere. This place is a huge waste of time! Don't go here! Update: April 2016, after two years I did get a call from Daniel Hazer who apologized for the poor service and states that they have made changes to their company. He states he would have called sooner but didn't have contact information. I hope the best for them and their future clientele. I didn't change the original star rating as that is how I viewed it at the time, but I do appreciate that they are trying.

This is the worse place ever to deal with trust the reviews I didn't and got stung.. Spoke with a worker with this company 4 times about a part I needed I'm 3 1/2 Hours away and made it clear I didn't want to waste a trip... I was told they had 4 parts starting at $800 to $400 made the arrangements to borrow a car and drive the 190 miles to have the guy get there to be told they only have 1 part and wouldn't promise it would even fit... it was a Transfer with 200,000 plus miles and it and jumped from $400.00 to $800.00 dollars. Claimed they hadn't spoken to me or couldn't remember speaking to me. When they asked whom I spoke to and I gave them the name then it changed to another story.... Never did they say I could pay over the phone but blamed me for not putting down a deposit... 4 calls were make about this part in a single day making the arrangements and now i have wasted money by sending someone to pick it up and there wasn't one to pick up... Never Again would I deal with this company all in all my Truck is still broke down and I just wasted $250 due to having to hire someone to make the trip for Nothing... Wouldn't give anyone the ok to get parts from them....

Hauled in a load of scrap. Was asked to back up in. So first I went and removed small debris out of my line. Nails bolts. Backed up to unloading machine. Went to removed final straps from load. Asked to back up further by her. I stated I would rather wait for the operator who unloads to tell me where as a lot more debris was behind me. Then she started yelling. She was not going to be talked to that way and you need to respect my elders. So I turned around to see who she was talking to. Turns out it was me. Completely dumb founded I was. The 2 year old tyrad did not stop there. She kept yelling I may not be your boss but you will respect me. Oooh wow. Dilusional or bipolar come to mind

Don't bother going here this place is a joke and a waist of your time! First I called and was on hold for over 8 minutes before anyone answered. Every time I called back it was the same long wait. I ordered three parts. When I got there (they're two hours away from where I live but had one part no one nearer had) I had to come back because the guy at the desk didn't know what was going on and the one I talked to was at lunch. I asked them to call, which they didn't. So I went back and one part was broken, no one bothered to call and tell me that. Then the main thing I needed, they asked a guy to pull the part and he looked annoyed. Then after waiting on him to come, then waiting for the part (so I thought) I was told it was missing! I cancelled the entire order, I didn't want to wait for another length of time for them to tell me that the third part was also missing or broke plus it was new so I could order it elsewhere. This place is a huge waste of time! Don't go here! Update: April 2016, after two years I did get a call from Daniel Hazer who apologized for the poor service and states that they have made changes to their company. He states he would have called sooner but didn't have contact information. I hope the best for them and their future clientele. I didn't change the original star rating as that is how I viewed it at the time, but I do appreciate that they are trying.

Went to Hazer's yesterday to pick up an alternator. After paying for everything, I asked the gentlemen if the part was pulled already or ready, he said no it still has to be pulled. I told him, unfortunately I don't have time to wait for it to be pulled so I asked If I could just cancel the order. He said sure and told me to right down my email on the order/receipt so he could email me the cancelation or whatever. Side note: they called me later that day saying that my alternator was ready, I explained to that guy that I'm sorry but I canceled that order. He said, oh I guess they forgot to tell me, alright then. Never received an email about the cancellation. I called back today and spoke to a lady, who was rude as sh*t. She explained that when something is bought that it takes time to pull and and that the part I ordered was ready for pick up. I said i'm sorry but I canceled that order when I was there. She spoke with the guy I dealt with at the desk and he didn't even remember! Then I had to explain that, not only did I write my email on the receipt for him., but I put CANCEL ORDER above it. She rudely just says fine I'll cancel it have a good day. A) Terrible customer service and B) if I hadn't called to check on it, I would have never been issued a refund. Thankfully, I received an email shortly after the phone call. I realize they must be a busy place and things fall through the cracks, not big deal. But when I call back to check on the status as well as leaving clear instructions on my receipt. How do you have the gall to be that rude and try play it off by saying "he doesn't remember that"...I mean, come on. I'll be taking my business to 7th Ave Salvage from now on.

Stopped going to Hazers years ago - haven't been there in about 10 years. The employees were garbage and not helpful at all, disrespectful. I took my business over to 7th ave. and they're pretty nice people over there with a well organized yard. Upon randomly checking up on Hazer reviews (for a laugh) i noticed they have new management and also noticed the new weigh scale outside recently. It's always been a locally known thing to NOT go to Hazers but maybe it's changed. We'll see.

Bought a motor, sight unseen from half way across the country. There were a couple of surprises along the way, a core charge that was mentioned during payment and a last minute increase in shipping. The staff was more than wonderful waiving the core as the engine did need some work (which was disclosed not a surprise). They also met half way on the increased shipping charges (due to an original low estimation of the weight). The engine was packaged and shipped out the very next day after ordering and was delivered about a week later exactly as advertised. I will not hesitate to deal with Hazers again in the future, price including shipping was more than fair and the communication throughout the transaction was top notch and friendly.

If I could give them a zero rating I would. I have scheduled with them to pick up my vehicle on Saturday because it had to be off the property. I even called on Friday and everything. Not a single call was made to me on Saturday. They claim that they could not find my place which in reality it is not hard to find my place at all you type it into the GPS and it shows you exactly step-by-step locations to get to my house. I also told them that I live next to restore which makes it easier to find my house. Well in the end nobody showed up nobody called me nobody text message me nobody anything which made me lose out on $1,000 because my vehicle still on on property which means I lost my deposit. I'm a single mother with two kids and I cannot afford to be losing $1,000 especially because I really needed it. But because of hazers I lost it. The first lady I talked to was very rude she tells me that I should have called on Friday when I tried to inform her that I did call on Friday she said well yet by and hung up on me. Then the second gentleman I talk to again very rude and continue to lie to me. I definitely will be referring people definitely not here anymore if you want good quality service go to 7th Ave the new Salvage they actually show up and if they can't find your place they actually call you Ouran try to GPS it they also send you a text message if they can't get a hold you bye a phone. I definitely will never be using this company ever again a day in my life. Enter run a company that does something like this that's just downright ridiculous. And those two employees definitely should not be working in customer service that is almost definite situation there.

I went there today, 10/30/15. my car. Needed a couple new tires each. After standing in line for ten minutes at which time there were 4 people working behind the desk and only one other customer in at the same time I was, I finally got helped after a couple employees finished talking. They made me feel like a was annoying them just by coming in to give them my business. Needed some tires so I fit directed outside to a pile of tires and was told to pick whatever I wanted and then come in and pay. Not a mechanic but I know how to read sizes of tires and all that jazz, so I found a few that seemed to have the most tread left on them. Go inside, wait 5 min again for acknowledgement/service in an empty store and pay 40 per tire. Bring them to Tires plus to get them put on and they told me the tires were 7 years old and in garbage condition. Cracks in between treads and unsafe to even out on. Then choke to find out tires plus had the same tires, brand new, for $50. What a joke. The majority of the tires I saw at hazers were in terrible condition, weathered, and some with so little tread, I can't believe they were selling them. The only positive thing I can say about Hazers is they at least refund your money after buying overpriced garbage tires. They clearly don't take the time to be careful with the tires when they are removing them for resale, nor do they examine them properly before selling or after you pick them out. With poor service & poor quality of merchandise, I don't see myself having ANY reason to return. At $40 for a used, old, weathered tire and $50 for a new one, don't waste your time and/or money.

Great service! I contacted Hazers looking for a hard to find driveshaft for my GMC Sierra. My rep Kelsie told me the part listed online had recently been sold, but almost immediately told me she might have another in stock. She checked the system and said there was one, but it was still in the vehicle. I was nervous, as I had received the wrong part from another store, but Kelsie's efficiency and competence gave me the confidence to trust her and order the part. Once ordered, Kelsie let me know it normally takes 2-3 days to pull the part and I could expect to have it available to ship in the middle of the following week. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call and an email just a few hours later. The part was pulled and Kelsie had emailed photos of the part so I could see its condition. The part was shipped the next business day, and arrived at my house two days after our initial conversation. Amazing!

If I could give them a zero rating I would. I have scheduled with them to pick up my vehicle on Saturday because it had to be off the property. I even called on Friday and everything. Not a single call was made to me on Saturday. They claim that they could not find my place which in reality it is not hard to find my place at all you type it into the GPS and it shows you exactly step-by-step locations to get to my house. I also told them that I live next to restore which makes it easier to find my house. Well in the end nobody showed up nobody called me nobody text message me nobody anything which made me lose out on $1,000 because my vehicle still on on property which means I lost my deposit. I'm a single mother with two kids and I cannot afford to be losing $1,000 especially because I really needed it. But because of hazers I lost it. The first lady I talked to was very rude she tells me that I should have called on Friday when I tried to inform her that I did call on Friday she said well yet by and hung up on me. Then the second gentleman I talk to again very rude and continue to lie to me. I definitely will be referring people definitely not here anymore if you want good quality service go to 7th Ave the new Salvage they actually show up and if they can't find your place they actually call you Ouran try to GPS it they also send you a text message if they can't get a hold you bye a phone. I definitely will never be using this company ever again a day in my life. Enter run a company that does something like this that's just downright ridiculous. And those two employees definitely should not be working in customer service that is almost definite situation there.
