Went to these guys for an alignment! They wanted to charge me $150 just for the front. How the heck does town fair offer this service for 89.99 (front & back) with the same equipment and these guys want $300? I guess they must hire mathematicians that do it all by hand. All I know to do is put gas in my car and more than once I have been lucky Diesel lump doesn’t fit because I have grabbed it. Jimmy answered the phone and made himself available and was extremely helpful, even though he had closed the shop for the day. Was a horrible experience for me they were very over priced and charged me double for parts..... I dealt with fred and he charged me 65 dollars just to jack up my car n look over at parts.... They will find any way to get $$$ out of you biggest rip off around... I asked for a free visual check of the vehicle and they charged for that, these are your typical old school crook mechanics.. Let alone i arrived at 730a.m. and my car wasn't check till 12p.m. if you ask me stay away from this place if anything run away from this place..

Very attentive, I was offered coffee while I waited and they gave me up to the minute progress on what they were doing, how long it would take, until the job was done. What was most impressive was the follow up call from Fred the next day. Making sure I was satisfied with the Job. W.T.Heck...not even my Doctor (who has ridiculous fees) does this.

Somebody broke into my car through a small glass behind the passenger side window. First I called Safe lite, because they provide a service where a specialist will come to you and fix it. Safe lite was going to charge me $288, but I decided to shop around. And, I found it. The owner was very friendly and charge me a very comfortable price $50. I called shopping around for a window glass for my passenger side door, a gentleman answered and when asked he simply replied after a pause “This is Hunts Point Auto sir” attempting to make me sound as if I’m an idiot. Of course I know what business I’m calling and what services you provide that’s why I’m calling! He didn’t even attempt to help me, 110% sure he just didn’t simply misunderstand what I was asking. Do they have good work I don’t know, possibly but I’m not under any circumstances doing business with an individual like that.

Drove down Hunts Point Avenue and found this establishment open early for business at 7:30 a.m.. The owner gave me a reasonable quote on replacing my front windshield and 2 hours later I was out the door a very satisfied customer. In the interim the owner directed me to a diner a block away where I had a nice breakfast after which I came back and relaxed in their nice waiting area. Apparently this place also doubles as an auto repair shop. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking auto glass services or even auto repair services.

These guys are awesome! First, they treat you as if they had known you for a long time. They look at your car issue and if there isn’t one, they tell you, they don’t make one up which is so common with most mechanics. Honest mechanics are so hard to find. I went in with an annoying alarm issue that didn’t let me sleep. The dealer couldn’t figure it out after multiple trips. These guys did. They are not cheap, but they are fair with their fees and I recommend them without any reservations.

I recently went in for a state inspection, service was fast and efficient. They have been in business since the 50's and you can tell why. They are honest and upfront and don't try to sell you any services you don't need. I will definitely be heading back to them for any other maintenance issues.

Update2018 :Fred is simply Amazing!! The whole family is Courteous Kind & Affordable.. so i Swung whitney in for a ac recharge this summer left with an oil change and a fuse replacement... My baby and i are satisfied yet again! A year ago : I was so impressed on how well of a job I received in the summer on my wheel alignments that I decided this was my Whitney's new home. Being a woman is hard as is and knowing nothing about cars makes it 2x worse except everyone at the shop was so honest and the mechanics only concern was my safety Not price.. oh and time.. is a jiffy.. I love the phototext communication step by step pictures of my baby ! Great job on my alternator & belts! Whitney & I just love our $25 off gift card on services.. ❤❤

Someone busted in my window, so I drove my car with the glass continuing to shatter into the car as I drove. The guys are friendly but not too talkative. They charged a lot less than what my insurance quoted me. Same-day service. Window looks like the original, but cleaner, and works like normal. They vacuumed up all the glass — and the whole rest of the car. They called me when it was ready. I don’t know anything about cars and worry about getting shafted, but these guys were professional and honest.

I have a Nissan Quest 3.5 and had a problem with the ABS system, I took my car to this shop where Fred tried to help me, to make my story short , I had to take my car for the same problem 3 times , first time they changed the module, second time they changed the abs sensor driver rear side after that I was told my car was ready , I drove 2 blocks away and I needed to stop pressed the brake pedal the problem was there again, I made a u turn, got there and spoke to Fred so he told me to bring my car the next day because they were closing soon because it was Saturday ,went there on Wednesday missing my work day , stayed there for 4 hours until Fred called me, his mechanic was there took me for a ride on my car , he showed me the computer they used to diagnose the problem ,he told me the problem was the passenger rear side abs sensor ,once we got inside Fred and his mechanic looked at me and and told me it’s your call do you wanna change the sensor ? So finally I made a smart decision ,I told them I am taking my car to the dealer . Spend $1,400 and didn’t fixed my car. At the dealer they told me they used a after market parts which they didn’t tell me about, and the problem was the Abs sensor on the passenger front side. I wouldn’t recommend this shop for electrical issues thanks for taking your time to read this review I know is a lot but I really wanna share my full bad experience with them.
