THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. First of all, I want to say how AWESOME it is for these women to be KILLING IT in a "male dominated industry". I think it is so great for female empowerment! I called on a Sunday to see if they had any Saturns on the lot. It's been hard to find one since apparently they are very good cars and are normally fixed and not scrapped. The gentleman who answered the phone said he would be very happy to help me to see if they had one that would match what I had/needed. They did so I said I'd be there on .Monday. He informed me THEY WERE OPEN NOW ON A SUNDAY around 9:45. So I went and I got what I needed! The gentlemen who where there were EXTREMELY helpful and SUPER NICE. I’ll be coming here for ANYTHING that I need. Or just to walk around it’s so awesome. Good job building a female empowered woman (and gay) friendly environment.

This is one of the best junkyards I have ever been to. What is reallly unique about that place is 3 things: 1-The cars are not stripped of like the other junkyards, because they still have alot of stuff even the wheels are still there in some vehicles. 2-They arrange the cars by model so you can find the car you are looking for easily. 3-The prices are reasonable. I will definetely recommend that place.

Poor customer service. I call and first thing I say is "how are you doing" and the guy responds 'I dont know." And I repeat, you don't know how you're doing? he goes "nope". Okay, I was about to hang up the phone right there, but I decided to be nice and inquire about junking a bike. He then tells me that they don't do "pick ups" because they're oh so hard. Okay, well I'm sure if you had a successful business model then you could work something out or be somewhat helpful. I wouldn't waste my time giving them business when there are plenty of other options out there with a not so shitty customer service rep.

I called to find out if they had any 1950 era cars because a review here said they could tell me what cars they had. Anyway, no they didnt have any 1950's, but then I asked what was the earliest year ( thinking they had a list). The answer I got was "out of 1000's of cars I am not going to look to see how early we have....click" Really crass, bad attitude during this 30 second conversation in which it ended with him handing up on me!! I am not expecting to talk to the nicest person when calling a junk yard, but wow. This is why I am happy spending more money elsewhere! SCUMBAG Barbie sounds better.

Great prices and a cool vibe to the yard. And open on sat/Sunday. Saved my butt a few times in the 4 years ive been going. $20 rim and tires +++ can't beat that. usually buy parts for at least 2 cars at a time and get a good deal. Maybe I rubbed the old guy the wrong way once or twice but getting tired of being told to check the board when asking for pricing. Guy lets me spend half my money, last time I couldnr get a price from him and decided to leave and without inquiring about extra stuff i don't need and didn't stop in for. Im reasonable and want to support the yard so ill be back if I NEED something. But gotta give me a price. 4/5 cause not carrying everything im driving and dude.

My son got into a fender bender in his first car a Honda Civic 99 and he was heart broken. Thank Godness because being a young and broke 19 year old he could not afford to buy brand new parts. Barbs was not only the CHEAPEST around but the NICEST! I have never felt too comfortable around places like these and being at Barbs made me feel welcomed and appreciated. When it is finally time to junk Chucks car I will definitely be using Barbie’s services and will further recommend this business in the future. THANK YOU JUNK YARD BARBIE!!!

I called in advance for a car. Less than an hour later I get there and they have no idea what they have in the inventory. The worst junkyard ever. Drove 45 minutes away for nothing. What a waste of time

I was in the process of junking my old car and had asked for a quote a few weeks before. They were responsive and told me exactly what I needed with an offer included. I had gotten another offer from somewhere else but they dropped the ball on it at the last minute. I needed to move the car quick (it was tying up space at my mechanic's lot) and contacted Junkyard Barbie again. They came out that day, called when they were running late (it was during heavy traffic time/right after work), and the whole process took 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area!

Obviously "BRAXTON SMITH" and "B. SMITH" must be the same person. He seems to get enjoyment from bashing Junkyard Barbies. I have been involved with this yard since it opened and it is more clean and organized then most in the area. I guess some people are never pleased and always have to have something to complain about. He sure has a long list of complaints against most companies as per his google review sheet.

The staff are very pleasant helpful and funny. They also work with you if you don’t have sufficient funds. Ms. Barbie herself has wonderful personality and great customer service skills. I would recommend everyone to go their with their needs before checking everyone else.

I've been going here for probably 20 to 25 yrs. One of my favorite yards. The people who work there are awesome & friendly. Most of whom have been there long-term & lots of family involvement. I totally support small & honest businesses like this. Thieves & grimy people are best not to step foot here, very likely wind up on the "Wall of Shame" & banned for life. Keep in mind also: 1. No one in 30 minutes to close. 2. Don't price haggle, or price goes up. Prices are low enough! 3. Usually open rain or shine, including most holidays. 4. Men pay $1. each to enter, women are free. The price of metal has dropped & overhead costs keep going up. With that said, rates are more than fair.

As anyone who has ever had a classic or rare car knows - parts can be hard to find. A very special thanks to my girl Barbie & team at Barbie’s Pick-a-part junkyard. I got a hard to find part for my Jeep here. Anyone who knows Jeeps knows they usually never end up in junkyards but Barbie - a passionate Jeeper herself has acquired some for people like me. And my Jeep keeps rolling and I keep smiling! Thanks Barbie and team! You guys are real pros and I’m grateful! Now back on the road - love my Baby Girl Jeep! ☀️

Bob Dietrich recommends Junkyard Barbie Pic-A-Part. August 6 at 3:25 PM · I was at Junk Yard Barbie's on Friday. I needed several parts for different cars. I was treated like a VIP. Kimmie worked quite a while trying to locate a mirror for me. The owner not only personally helped me to find a part actually in the yard but went with me in the pouring rain helping me find exactly what I needed.And the prices are crazy cheap. Not only does Junkyard Barbie have a well stocked yard, but the customer service is second to none. I'm not saying that this will happen every time someone goes to the yard, but I will say you will always get a friendly greeting and a smile. I highly recommend Junkyard Barbie's to everyone. Thanks for all your help!

It's a typical yard. No pay to enter and the cars are pretty well organized. Prices are reasonable if you can find something you like. I wish there was a better selection of post-2010 or so era cars. Hard to find much for newer cars.
