Fantastic customer service. I had a few pieces of scrap metal and copper. The gentleman weighted what I had, wrote a ticket, which I then took to the cashier and received my money. It was a very quick process.

The staff in the receiving area was patient and honest. One of them even picked out some of the bx wire which could be in a sub-category for higher recycling price. I decided to take a chance on this place, Although it's far for me to ride to. I've been to closer places and they haven't give me a fair shake at the metal. I was surprised! This place was great! Since I don't know what I'm going, Leandro helped me sort, weight the metal fairly, and took the time to show me how to sort for the next time. OMG, he is a gem. Good for what it is. I bring scrap metal over to recycle and for a little extra cash. The guy who accepts the scrap is great. Always very polite and professional and the people in the office know what they're doing. They accept a lot more than Rockaway recycling some always happy to be there

I've been to many yards and I find this place to be very clean and well organized. All the employees are very friendly and care about what they do. All scales have indicators including the truck scale. Their prices are always competitive and now they updated their web site allowing access to price on line. If you want to recycle your metal and be treated respectfully I highly recommend this place. Keep up the good work.

I used to love coming here for all my scrapping needs but no longer use this place because neither I or my brother get along with the one guy working at the area that weighs non ferrous metals he always tries to give us lower quality metals even when other people working are telling him he's wrong I really like all the guys working the rest of the yard though they're all pretty cool and if it weren't for this one employee id give them four stars
