I truly couldn't say thank you enough to the employees and owner of Central Jersey Auto Salvage. Back in February I got a flat tire on the corner or Burke Rd & Commodore Rd. Not knowing what to do ( with a dead cell phone and 2 crying kids in the back seat and a million & one things running through my head) wondering how I am going to afford to fix this and where can I get a tire fixed FAST . Being a young single mother, life can get the best of you sometimes. As I was sitting by my car trying to wave people down , tears rolling down not only my face, but my 7 month old and 2 year olds faces, a man stopped in a truck with Central Jersey Auto Salvage logos all over it. He asked me if I needed help. He brought my car to the shop and changed my tire. They gave my children snacks and drinks. I couldn't BELIEVE the price they gave me for all the hassle of getting me and my two children to the shop. I couldn't thank Central Jersey Auto Salvage enough for saving the day and changing my tire for me, and not killing me finically while helping me distract my children!

Being a business customer of this salvage yard and knowing the owner personally I was very surprised to find out that even people that you know and doing business with for awhile can be so rude and have terrible customer service skills when you hear from the owner of the place at the end of the phone conversation "I don't want to help you.." Thanks God there are other salvage yards in the area we can go when we need used parts. Stay away from this place if you don't want to have your day ruined. UPDATE!! Just noticed owners reply. Not sure to whom David (the owner) refers to when he says that "I was rude to his stuff" if he is the only one who I was talking to on the phone.. Just another excuse to move responsibility for his own rudeness to the other party that again shows his unwilling to be a customer oriented service.

My first conversation with Central Jersey Auto Salvage was professional, they seemed to be knowledgeable and very responsive. Unfortunately the used transmission that bought was defective. They where true to their 30 day warranty and refunded the purchase price plus the shipping costs. I would highly recommend them and if the need arises I would use their services again.

Great prices on everything honestly (I asked for prices on a few other parts I was looking for on top of the one that I came for). All of the staff that I dealt with were very friendly, went out of their way to help and get me a great price on my part. The shop is super clean, the part that I bought was clean and top quality. Ill be back again for sure. The owner, David is very friendly and happy to spend the time to make sure you get the part you want and are happy with it. If you are nervous about the typical used car part buying experience, and it can be intimidating if you don't really know what your looking for, These guys are ready to help.

I wouldn't give this jerk one star. First time ever, going there for 3 rims. He said he had them for $50 dollars each. I politely told him, they sell for $36 brand new. He googled it to find I was right as if he was checking to be compatible. Not so. He than said I'd have to pay shipping. Than I said, I'd take them anyway. At this time he starts being offensive saying how it sucks to deal with people line me all week. I was apologizing, but the rude owner carried on and on telling me to go to his other yard. I was actually thinking if it when I remembered blacys auto wrecking in the area, who politely and helpfully sold me 2 rims, with tires for $50..no charge for the tires.. Worst business I've seen in a long time. Steer clear

There is something to be said if I liked this place so much that I drove 3 hours just to have them fix my car damage. Over the phone or in person, David was extremely helpful and straightforward when dealing with my case. This place is beyond 5 stars! I've been searching for a car for months and every dealership gave me the run around , gave up on me, just sucked chasing after the person with the big bills. After class one day I decided to just stop without thinking of the time and if they were open which they were, thank God :) I went in and got welcomed but felt a little discouraged cause at this point I realized I couldn't buy a car right now, I'm thinking I'm wasting there time I really just came to look. When the lady introduced me to Mike, a great guy, he asked what I was looking for and I simply said nothing in particular just looking I only have 700 dollars and told him I had another 700 coming my way shortly he then proceeded to give me a price range of cars that I could leave with that day. I gave it a shot and found a car ! It was so simple and I got to drive away with it and have had no problems since I'm beyond happy to finally be in my own car and it's so affordable it couldn't get any better I wish I knew of this place years ago and I'd without a doubt recommend EVERYONE here !

Went to central jersey auto salvage for a door for my Saturn. They didn’t have one on the lot but they found me one in a timely manner and installed it for me. Don’t understand these men. I wrote a review last year around this time. This experience was less infuriating than the last, but definitely not successful. I have received emails every so often from Dave since the first negative review. And as you can imagine, he has been more pleasant however things just have not worked out still. I wanted to make a reasonable offer on a 2013 Hyundai Elantra salvage title. A calculated risk I was willing to take on. I’ve done my research and would never try to low ball someone, but also will never pay for a car more than it’s rightful value. They are attempting to sell a reconstructed salvage vehicle for the same amount as the same car with the same mileage and of the same year that DOES NOT have a salvage title. Even after admitting that they know that a salvage vehicle is usually valued 40% less than the same vehicle that isn’t a salvage they believed my offer was unreasonable. I would be careful before deciding to do business here.

I have been searching and buying parts from many salvage yards over the years. Then I found Central Jersey Salvage, and now this is the only Yard that I want to deal with and stay with. The customer service is fantastic, they also let you into the yard to pick parts. There pricing is about a half what another yard would charge. They were able to cut out a whole front end for me. I cannot say enough for this Salvage yard. The fellows Dave, Mike and Benny are great and treat you very well. I look forward to doing business with them for many years to come. When it was time to scrap my 2008 GMC Acadia, I called around to numerous scrap and used auto parts places to gauge interest and $, including some on internet-only based sites. I went with these guys and it was by far the best decision I could have made. Their customer service is second to none (they call when they say, follow up as needed, arrive on time, etc.) They gave me a very good price nearly four times the amount of what other local scrap yards were offering. I had higher offers from other internet-based scrappers, but I felt most comfortable working with these guys and was happy to pay slightly more for a much better product.

We drove about four hours to purchase a right front door because the color code of the salvaged vehicle matched our vehicle, and the quoted price for the door was reasonable. After arriving and inspecting the salvaged vehicle, we decided to also purchase a rear door and a front fender because the items were fairly priced without having to negotiate. The parts were removed from the salvaged vehicle, while we ate lunch. Dave was friendly, professional and efficient. We would not hesitate to purchase from Central Jersey Auto Salvage again.

Mike and Dave are great guys! Stopped by on whim after my commuter car was totaled by my insurance company just to see what they had. I spoke with Mike about what I was looking for and he was honest about what he had available i.e) that ones kinda rough, too many miles on that one etc. He let me know about a car he just bought and was bringing in that night an older 4 Runner with 110k miles on it, and how much he was going to ask for it. I offered a deposit since they are hard to find with that low miles and in my price range. He refused to take a deposit and told me he would get the truck and wait for me to see it. He brought that truck in later that night and called me to look at, I took it out for a ride for about 1/2 hour or so and found the truck to be in great condition. He pulled a carfax and found it was a one owner, with a minor accident, and dealer serviced, at that point I was sure I had a good truck. He probably could have gotten more money for it than he originally asked for it! Yeah the truck is used and had its bumps and bruises and these guys went above and beyond to make the truck nearly perfect. The windshield had a crack they had it replaced, the bumper end cap had a dent they gave me a replacement, passenger window was scratched up they gave me a replacement. These guys did not need to do it but they did! Even after I came back and picked it up the next day they weren't satisfied with the rushed detail job they had me take it to Garden State Auto and Car wash and they cleaned her right up almost looks new!! Honest and Fair Guys!!!

Sold me a BMW with low miles and a 90 day warranty. The car has no oil pressure after any 20 minute drive. David said he would make it right, but his answer is for me to go somewhere else and pay to fix it myself. I tried to ask him to either honor his warranty or buy back the car and his response is that he's running a business and he can't do that because then he won't make money.

The owner of this company is a very abusive person, I run a body shop in ZIONSVILLE and when i called him for a hood for a project he started abusing me, he also said that he wish he could abuse me in person, He did this only because I am from Indian Origin - Shame On You I just read the reply of the owner, He is such a jerk that he doesn't even have Courtesy to apologies for what he did, I even told him that we will visit in person but we wanted to be sure about the item since this yard is above 60 miles from our location. I will recommend not to work with these people because they don't even sound like human beings and they abuse people for no reason, If i was to rate these guys on professionalism I will give them something below zero Also, if you don't want anyone to make inquiries over the phone - please have all of your phone lines disconnected

I came here for a window motor repair because my passenger side front window would not go down. The cost of the motor was very fair and so was the work to put the window motor in cost was amazing! My dad said the cost and work for this type of work was $400, that was not the case here. They did it for $55! That was a huge relief for my dad and I. As the installation was going they found out the motor was not the problem, but it was my switch for the window. The price for the switch was very fair and I don't have to worry about the work cost! There customer service is outstanding and everyone is very nice! I highly recommend going to Central Jersey Auto Salvage!

Central Jersey Auto Salvage was fantastic to work with, specifically Dave. I called on the phone with very short notice that I needed to sell my car. Upon speaking with Dave, he sincerely took the time to listen to what I was selling. At the end of our conversation, he asked me what price I was hoping to receive. When I told him my price, he was very understanding and offered me that price. Prior to speaking with Dave, I called 4 other places, all of which offered me a lower price than I was hoping. Dave's response time for picking up the car was remarkable. I called on a Monday morning and he came out that same afternoon. When he arrived, we talked for a bit (very friendly), I handed him the required paperwork, he wrote me a check, then took care of the towing. He noticed I still had the license plates on my old car but we didn't have a device to remove them. He graciously stated he would go to the DMV the next day to surrender the plates and text me a picture of the receipt. He kept his promise. This left me with nothing to worry about. First and foremost, these guys are extremely professional and well organized. You can completely forget about your typical "junk yard" environment. Called about a motor for my truck and the price went from 600 from the first phone call around 10 in the morning to almost 1200 dollars for the same motor in a phone call about 4 hours later. Then he proceeds to tell my dad he was a liar and that the price of 600 was never quoted earlier in the day. I have it written down that such price was quoted. Then I call this business asking about a motor and he proceeds to tell me that my family is messed up and clearly has issues with remembering stuff and that my mother and father were terrible parents. Then he tells me I'm a tough guy behind a phone and that he would like to come argue with him in person and to stop hiding behind a phone. The customer service is absolutely terrible at this company and won't ever recommend to anyone. It's a good thing I know about cars and working on them, I'm sure many people have been scammed by them who don't know much about vehicles or fixing cars. Stay away for sure!

I this place of business to order a new rim for a wheel. It took less than 24hours to arrive. When I came to pick up my order it was the wrong rim because of the information I provided on the phone. The owner told to come inside and he would figure something out noticing if been driving on a doughnut. He replaced the rim and a new tire and even put it on my car. I was there less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend this place.

Promptly after receiving pictures of the car, Mike responded with a reasonable offer which was not the standard $100 I received from several other auto places. Mike even offered a bit more if I could drive the car to him, which I eventually did. Took only a few minutes to conduct business there, and receive a check. I appreciated Mike's willingness to look at the pics I sent. Some pretty decent looking used cars in the lot, too. I am immensely grateful to CJAS as one of their owners helped me out yesterday when I was in a true jam. I am from Virginia and was camping in Jackson with my 8-year-old son when the large awning to our camper broke. I couldn't find anyone in the area to let me dispose of this bulky item and I had no good way to haul it home. Even though CJAS is not in the business of waste disposal, the owner saw that I was in a tough spot, and he agreed to get rid of it for me as a favor. This was a true act of "kindness to strangers" and one I will always remember. If this is how they do business on a daily basis -- with flexibility, forbearance and kindness -- then they are truly a trustworthy business. They helped me when they didn't have to, and I will now look for an opportunity to pay it forward.

What an awesome place my only disappointment was that i didn't find this place sooner. I went to them told them the problem i was having with my engine right away they had a good idea of what the problem was. Then they told me before we put in a new part we will first try and clean out the part that isn't working.If that does not take care of the problem then we will replace the part. I could not believe they were so honest. Any other place would have said you need a new part an charged it right away just to jack up the price. The owner David and staff are super friendly. The prices are very fare. Most importantly they stand by there work. One part that they replace on the car failed after they put it in. I noticed it when i got home. I called them. There is one word that describes this place and employees..."EXCELLENT"! I've been to this place many times to fix my father's white jetta and even referred friends to this place and we have all been treated with the best customer service possible. If they do not have the part in stock, they look through their inventory and can hopefully get it in another state. You can even make an appointment with them to have them install whatever items for you so you can actually drive your vehicle home the same day with the used part(s). The guys who install these parts are like mechanics and know exactly how the part needs to be put in just like the dealership. They even have a little waiting area in front of the front desk with 2 chairs where you can watch the news or look at their array of salvaged cars for sale in the front. The lot behind the office is huge with so many different makes and models, its definitely bigger than the size of a football field. Mike and Dan are great as are the rest of the employees. They have great attitudes and show a willingness to always help as best as they can. This is my go-to place for looking for used parts for any vehicle and will not look anywhere else. If you have damaged parts on your vehicle and looking to replace with great used parts and are not looking to pay "stealership" prices for brand new parts, go to this place and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
