I was really impressed on how efficient the yard was many employees to point you i the rite place. I was having trouble getting a refrigerator out of my truck a employ i wish i got his name hoped on the truck and pushed it off for me!! They give you a itemised print out of what you made i loved that lots of places will only give it if you ask. They keep the yard as clean as possible so no one leaves with a flat tier. lol If you need to ask for advice they will give it!!!

Liars and scammers....Went there today had a terrible experience. I had two buckets of metal, one with copper and the other with bronze, when carrying it to their facility the bucket with bronze had less metal and was significantly lighter than the bucket with copper. After they checked and weighted it, (on paper) they came out to be about the same weight. Before leaving my house i weighted the buckets myself out of curiosity, I had 8 Lbs of copper more than what they recorded. Their scale is legit, its the individual who makes an entry in the computer, I feel like they take off a few pounds on purpose, giving an excuse that there was water in the pipes. Beware, the display that shows the weight of your scrap is always turned away from the customers, you can not see the weight of your metals. Demand that they weigh it in front of you and tell them to show you the display.

THEIVES!!!!!!! I don't normally leave reviews and I know accident happen but this is 3 times in a row I bring down pure metal and get less Then lowest dirty price. Solid aluminum bars got .08 cents a pound for. Solid copper bars got 1.75. A pound. If you thinks that's ok then head on down and they will steal your money gladly.

The scales are way off. I weigh all my metal before I come and this time their scales said I only had 1670lbs when I weighed it all and I came up with 2300. I can understand some difference but 600lbs is ridiculous. When called out on it the response was " that's strange."

complete bullshit in my opinion we came on a day when they were so post to be open but had a huge truck blocking the entrance i had 3 aluminum grills to drop off and get some money but they were closed on a day they said they were open don't go here!

They're extremely fair and honest, they never try and hustle you like some of the other yards. They have the highest payout of all the yards in the area. Also, it's always in and out really fast never a long ordeal.

It's like a playground for grownups. If you are unfamiliar with the routines there, the staff is friendly and polite about explaining what goes where. The disgruntled customer complaining about the scales must have been mistaken, since the scales registered a couple of brake rotors on the occasion I was scrapping mostly aluminum. I drove through and was weighed, and then drove across the scales again minus two brake rotors, and was credited a few bucks.

Great bunch of guys!!!! Great customer service with a smile. They are a state certified weigh station. And for me being in the military that is a rarity in this place. Thanks for everything. The only problem is Google maps have the location for them in the wrong place, its actually down the road a little further. Its right by "Rt-12 storage". I've sent a error report to google to fix that, we'll see if they do. ;)

This company is well organized and pays well. I have been using them for over a decade and have never had any problems. We have a 40yd scrap it container on site. It is emptied any time we call and the drivers are courteous and pick up any loose material. The second street yard is wild but they pay and weigh with all your weights shown to you upon receipt. I have never had to question the weights all is legitimate. I am very happy with this company!
