Bought a starter it was bad. Was going to buy an alternater from them, but they didn't have it off, so we bought a new one. Went back the next day to return the starter an they were very rude. They hung up on my wife, when she called . They need to grow up an run the business like a business. It's not kindergarden . Needless to say we won't go here again, there are a lot of other places to go . Don't need the drama!

They’re DB’s and act like they know about parts. In reality they’re not educated on auto parts and have been arrogant and rude in my dealings. The prices are too high and I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere or for new before stepping foot at this dump!

Not impressed. Looking for a driver side door and did search on their website. Says they have it, called and said they didn't and continue to tell me that they don't update their pictures or information if car parts were taken. Said car could have been there 3 years ago and still on website! False advertising and need to update inventory at least on a bi weekly basis!

Always very helpful and wonderful prices. Most of the employee are kind and helpful. Definitely worth looking for parts here then going straight to auto parts store!! Save so much money and they make sure it works before selling it to you.

Ordered parts on Friday and told they would be ready Saturday morning. They were not, wasted the morning waiting around being told time and time again, they would be ready in half an hour. When they finally pulled the parts they were incorrect. Ended up pulling the correct parts my self, which I payed for on the spot. The following Tuesday another charge from general salvage appears, for the amount of the original parts ,that they pulled,that were incorrect. When I called the sales man says: "so you want a refund on that?" Gonna take a week to get refunded. Do not trust this company. I should have just bought new.

Over the years I've gone to these guys for engines or transmissions and always had the worst experience. They are always rude and difficult to deal with. I always use them as a last resort. But in reality it's worth waiting a couple extra for anyone else to have what you need!

The gang at General Auto Salvage is top notch. Very happy to help in any way they can. I drove over 3 hours to purchase a major item site unseen and I was very happy to find it in far better condition than I had imagined. The price was very reasonable as well. I will make the trip again for that level of service.
