Went with a friend on Monday. Had a great time going through things, and seeing what they had to offer. Found a few SMALL parts that I wanted to try adding to my car, a few horns, 2 headlights. Nothing MAJOR. My friend paid with his CC, but it was "denied" the first time, so he ran it again, still denied. So he called his CC Company, and they said the teller tried running it TWICE!! It worked the first time, but was denied a second time. our guess is, is that he ran it first time, LIED that it was denied and wanted to see if we'd pay CASH. Then when we his phone call was done with the CC company, the first teller was GONE, it was was a second teller. He ran up the Items AGAIN, and the SAME ITEMS came out to be $20 cheaper!!! How does Pick-a-Part assess proper prices? Just by "Guessing" and scamming people when they try using Credit Cards? BEWARE!! I WOULD ADVISE AGAINST USING CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS HERE!!

This place is awesome I've been coming here for years have saved a lot of money over the years they have hundreds of cars and trucks to pick from and you pretty much help yourself with everything you need staff is great Securities are little strict but that's understandable when they're trying to protect the business wealth will definitely recommend it to everybody who needs used they're family-friendly I've seen girls and kids coming in although I don't recommend kids coming in because they can hurt themselves but overall I do recommend this place to everyone.

I love this place, been there many times over the years. Great stop for a car enthusiast, builder, or DIY guy. For example: the whole Bose stereo system from Mercedes Benz SUV cost me just over $60. That includes four speakers, subwoofer, and the amplifier. The same used system sells on eBay for almost $200, It will be nice addition to my '59 Chevy truck when finished. Another great thing is that you can look online what cars or trucks they currently have there, and how much would certain part cost before you go. I only wish they had more older, or classic cars cars.

Bait n switch.. The prices on their website are 30% less than what they charge at the gate. I foolishly kept going back expecting it to change. No more. Better off buying new at any auto parts store. Clean, new parts you don't have to go dig for with real warranties and comparable prices. These guys know that after you hog your tools across the lot, bust your knuckles and get covered in oil and dirt for that part you thought was $20, you'll pay the extra $ plus the core charge. B.S. Don't waste your time or money.

There part prices online don't always match what they tell you at the window. I went in for a hood on my 89 t bird and there online price was only 50 get to the window and the guy tells me "oh for those hoods it's 65" I even showed him the online price he refused to honor the price and was fairly rude. I have been to other parts yards and this place is a bit pricey they want 50 bucks for each seat out of a car I have bought them out of a different yard for 11....

Absolutely terrible!!! I used to frequent this worthless place every other day. They were always thorough when walking in and out. This instance now is were I came in with text same tools as I have every single time befor. This time wen I walk out they want cnfiscatec my tools because they were not marked coming in. I am currently waiting fr not Las Vegas pilicp department, new channel 5, and the Nation of Islam to come and reassure me that my rights have not been violated!

I've been to a few salvage yards in LA, and this was the first one I've been to in Las Vegas. It's similar to ones in LA, just that customer service is a bit lacking. This is a very large yard and they have hundreds and hundreds of vehicles. They are arranged by manufacturer. For example, one side has GM cars, another side has trucks, another has Toyota, etc. Customer service is pretty much non-existent to downright rude. They seem to be bothered by just asking a simple question. Since it was the first time I was there, I asked where the Chevrolet vehicles are. I thought it was a reasonable question since it's a large yard and I could be walking in the wrong direction for several minutes before realizing I'm in the wrong place. But I know, I should have walked in a bit further and I would have seen the signs. Other things to note are: - They charge $1 to go in and look around, whether you find what you need or not. - Just like any other salvage yard, bring your own tools. And don't expect help with finding the part you need. That's why it's a salvage yard and not an auto parts store. It is 100% DIY. - Don't ask for anything, whether it's water, a paper towel to wipe grease off your hands before you reach into your wallet, a part that just won't come out, or a simple question. The answer is no. - Prices are cheap. Go to their website to look up the current prices.

Cheaper than new, but not the cheapest for large body panels in particular. The large size of the lot translates into a large selection. Not bad prices for interior plastics either. Another pro is the Nice concrete lot. And another con is no hand washing stations and Porta potties for bathrooms. Honesty, not bad. As long as you don't need to go to the bathroom haha

I am listed as a local guide to google . I write a lot of reviews none of them are negative for the most part . So please when you read my review know that this is not my typical review. I do my best to speak positively about all companies I spoke to the Nevada pic a part guy who responds to these ads and he states that should be careful writing reviews , I feel like he was making a threat to take this down.Nevada pic a part ripped me off for a total of around $80 . What more so the owner the person that response to these ads is not even the owner it's a guy that handles the ad so the responses from the owner is not from the owner its from a manager, and trust me he's not sorry for any bad experiences that you may have experienced with Nevada pick a part. . . The office staff and the management this place is not a company that i would recommend there customer service is poor to say the least , and there tactics at handling issues with reviews are poor. Don't expect much from this place hopefully this review. Forces them to provide a better experance ..

I asked the guy you can't be serious and he said I have no control over the prices. So i took the bracket and threw back into there worthless yard and said go fetch you money. I have been going to salvage yards since I was a kid. Never have I had such a terrible experience. My advice go ANYWHERE but this place! After you have finally located the part you need and labored in the hot sun to get it off the car. You will be met by thieves at the checkout counter. I was charged $67 for a part that is available new for $59. (I just looked it up!). Just don’t wast your time with these people! They think they are a real auto parts store. I have never been charged a core charge or environmental fee ever at a junk yard! If you still decide to go there at least know the price of new before you go. You’ve been warned.

I had a wonderful experience. I bought a part for $3.29 which my mechanic wanted to buy at the dealership for $1,001.40 + 7.5 hrs labor.( I couldn't buy the part I needed by it's self) .I didn't bring tools to pick my part out and an employee offered to let me borrow tools. My interactions with the employees were very pleasant. I will bring my friend this weekend too!

Pic a part..... and hope it works, because refunds don’t exist, even after they scam you into the 30 day warranty. Store credit is what you get, probably because they realize you will not be putting the hours into pulling the same part from another car to install it on yours and find out it doesn’t work again, and by now you’ve realized that it would have actually been cheaper to just order the part you needed online. Here’s to never going back.

phone didnt even work for henderson. had to call 4 times to get the one on lamb to go through. Though the guy that picked up at the lamb location said he was able to check the inventory at the Henderson location as well, which was nice. Though "he"/ "they" didn't have the vehicle I was looking for he gave me a phone number where to try. And he was very polite on the phone. My first review was a one star, but the guy on the phone at the Lamb location brought my experience up to a 3. If I hadn't been upset about the Henderson phone line not recognizing the buttons I push and just looping over the menu over and over and over I would have had a better rating for you all.

Many late model European cars - more late model Jags, for example, for example, than I've seen anywhere! Much larger and more comprehensive than many major metropolitan areas such as Seattle. Huge selection means better chance of getting the parts you want. I work on cars as hobby and I am happy with what they’ve offered, although folks at the checkout need to be friendlier and more knowledgeable. More than once checkout clerk didn’t know the model name, and mistook a part that I pulled with different thing. Btw, I don’t understand other reviews complaining they’re surprised by high price and core charge. The parts price/core charge are clearly listed on the website so you need to compare prices. It is true, though, in some cases buying new one online can be cheaper than here. So shop around. Four stars because no junk yard should ever be rated 5 stars.

They hangup on after the 5th ring so that let me know that they don't know how to conduct business. I called back 4 times. All this was going on at opening time. I go there alot living a few miles away and its a great place. Huge collection of cars plus the entire lot is orderly and 100% cement instead of walking around in greasy dust. Its a massive organized operation. Other lots are all around it--about 5 but they are small and the yards are a mess-one was nothing more than a dump with cars stacked ON TOP of each other. Access to the part would be tough plus they dont know where the cars are. Im 64 and been to a lot of wrecking yards and I have no complaints with this place. But for the savings they expect you to know what you want--go get it--and dont whine as if you are going to Autozone expecting full service and guarantees. You must have your own tools--if you so much as need a screwdriver I assure you they will not loan one. Its such a huge operation its generally one stop shopping then you can stop at the fringe lots in the area if you dont find your part.

These guys get a bad wrap for no reason. I came with my 4 year old. Not only were the guys working VERY nice, they grabbed us a basket and pointed out where I needed to go to find my make and model car. Then gave me some decent prices on the parts I got. They were also professional. If you come to a junk yard, expect to bring your own tools and DIY. No complaints. Thanks guys.

The part I was looking for was broken because of a previous scavenger trying to force off a simple trim. they have lots of cars types though. there are too many old rare ones that hardly anyone pics parts from. The workers are dirt bags with that annoying "tough guy attitude". this place reminds me of Walmart.

Terrible place to go for parts I bought a 60 dollar radiator with a ten dollar core charge went to put the car back together and only needed a radiator hose called them to see about returning it and they said I had to buy a warranty to be able to return the part but said that I can take them the part I just paid for to them to get the 10 dollar core charge this is the most corporate corrupt scrap yard I have ever been to like who warranty's used parts it's a scheme please get parts brand new oem Amazon or eBay or pay 15 bucks for a warranty through them for parts you might not need or don't fit the radiator was only 72 bucks brand new. I'll be contacting the better business bureau.

A lot of cars but I couldn't even find a spare rim and tire for my car. Would have been a good price had they had one. Only 20 to 35 dollars for a rim and tire. So I got excited but the rims they had that fit my car were all dented. And pretty bad too. So that sucked. Still a nice place though.

I Buy a differential and no one told me anything about it if it was not the right they would not exchange it pay $ 150. I returned and they gave me only $ 25 and I left it because the part was a bit different. Should tell customers that there is no change of part.
