When dealing with a scrap yard, there's only two things I'm asking myself. Do I feel I can trust them, and do they pay right. The answer I get with Dessert is a resounding yes (especially the second one). I recommend them to anybody who asks.

Called about scrapping some catalytic converters I had, was told I had to show up for a quote. Drive down and had to stand there for 20 mins because they had to text what I assume was the owner for a quote. After waiting they came back to me with a lowball quote of 30$. I left and went to pic a part where they gave me 150$ for them. Won't be getting my business anymore.

They are very polite and friendly. Most scrap yards have snobs that treat you like a bum but this scrap yard made me feel comfortable. helpful staff.

I went over there to drop off a couple of refrigerators and a stove. Right when I got there a gentleman came out and greeted me. He walked me through the whole process. That helped a lot because that was my first time there. The cashier was very nice as well. I would recommend this place to my friends or anyone if they have any appliances to get rid of.

We try'd several other recycling places in town and this one is the BEST so far... It pays the best... It also has extremely good personel.... Its kinda small but well worth going.... We still get outta there within about 30 minutes... I highly recomend this place...

The woman who answered my call, Chris or Christy(?), was almost THE reason I decided to go here over EVERY other scrap yard in the valley. And Iwas sure glad I did because they were great to deal with.. I've vbeen to most of them and call around every so often for pricing, and I didn't think that kind people with great customer service skills worked in this industry.. Chris(ty?) and crew, thanks for your great customer service!!! Whoever is running that place needs to give you give y'all a raise as the business grows, because it most definitely will with the great customer service skills you display, especially at the initial interaction by Chris!!
