I donated a car to Vehicles for Veterans. Copart was assigned to come pick up the vehicle. I spoke with Copart and was advised a truck would be here between 8am -5pm today (this was after they placed me on hold to confirm they would be able to pick up on a Saturday). I was also advised they would call about an hour before coming. I waited at home for 9 hours, no phone call and no tow truck. So frustrating! Don't waste your day like I did! Worst part is I still really would like to donate the car to Vehicles for Vets, but I have no interest in waiting around for Copart again. Update....the tow company showed up, albeit over an hour late, but the driver was helpful and friendly.

I was there to pic up my own staffs from my car that was towed by them and I was waiting like an hour to check-in there wasn't a lot of ppl in line to blame the number of ppl but this Spanish lady who was working at the check in desk was making a priority for the ppl who were speaking Spanish. I got to their website via Craigslist Ad. Registration was very difficult. On the other hand, the registration on Repokar Auto Auction seemed much easier to me. In fact you can bid without fear and get a car for less money. By the way, the registration and bidding is free there.

This company has a DBA known as 57 Storage. This is where many insurance companies have their customers vehicles towed to after an accident. They do not offer any links or search options on their website for the owners of the vehicles wanting to get some information about their cars or what steps need to be taken to either retrieve their vehicle or simply retrieve their personal belongings. If you search the plate or vin number an auction card pops up and thats it, even if the car is not for sale yet. Not only could I not get the information I needed regarding my car, I also could not access a form that a representative from there told me to go onto their website and download to fill out. 57 Storage does not have a seperate website. I understand that they are not a tow company but they do store a very large number of cars that are taken there by all of the tow companies operating in Las Vegas and its surrounding areas. They really need to be more transparent about this part of their company and more sensitive to the people they have to deal with in this department. These people are already stressed and frusterated enough just for having been involved in an accident in the first place. They want to make it as difficult as possible to obtain information so that it will delay in the possible recovery of the vehicle by the owners. After all, the longer it takes the more money they make. But most importantly is the fact that they don't want you to recover your vehicle so that they can auction it off and double their money. This is the second encounter I have had with this company. The first encounter left me feeling like I wasn't important, that it was okay to just leave me hanging time and time again. I also felt like I had been played like a fool. If zero stars was a rating that is what I would pick but I have to at least give them one star so I am doing so relunctantly.

Should be zero stars, worst service, worst place in Nevada. Very disrespectful. Advertised car auction, don't mention that you need a dealers license. Shouldn't that be noted in your ad before a person comes all the way to your place of business, just to be treated rudely and turned away.

I was dealing with this auction buying cars online, from out of state, many times and I was fine with it until May 2015. Unfortunately for me, I realized that Richard Cedillo, the General Manager at that time, is not serious in his business. He was more like a joke to me. Instead of showing pictures with the actual seating of the vehicle, they showed pictures with the interior full of black garbage bags with personal items. The reality was that second and third row of seats was missing. Nobody could see that in the listed pictures. When I contacted the manager, I realized that he is not taking his job seriously. The replacement cost was pretty expensive. Too bad that some managers act worse than janitors. Is it to hard to show ACTUAL pictures of the vehicle AFTER you remove the bagged personal items?

If youre a transporter picking up, the loading yard lot is small and tight. Lines are usually long, keys are often lost or stolen. And be there before 4 pm. If youre not in line by 4, they won't load you, even tho they say 4:30. They dont wanna pay overtime for the loaders.

Car got totalled due an accident, went there 2 days later after taking care of the claim..., I only had 3 things to get out of my car, one umbrella, one cargo mat and the plate, only thing left in my car was the plate, all bent like they drove over it or something. They're thieves over there, umbrella gone I don't care, but the rubber cargo mat was around $90. And the broad at the desk was dumb, she had my registration in her hand when I went there and she called for a Honda Accord when I had an Acura RDX, can't even freaking read.

You probably have already had several panic attacks looking for your car and trying to find out what happened to the driver but before you come in the door just take a couple of deep breaths. Stand or sit they will see you and they will call you in order of appearance. Very calm environment. If you have the money and the documents you are in and out. You set the tone they just deal with it. So give them a big thanks for having such a high-stress job. After all at least you're getting your car back, they could have left it on the side of the road and you know what would have happened then? Thats rite, some of them Las Vegas sand fleas would have stripped your car faster than the robots who assembled it!!! ARRIBA!

Copart Staff were prompt, kind, and understanding. Overall great customer service with from the desk to the guys that assisted outside and over the phone. They provided a jump box to power my vehicle to pop the trunk, had bagged the inside of the car prior to my arrival. Someone brought a cart around to help me move a few bags. Big help since I was on crutches in a slower condition. So long as the vehicle was stuck behind a bunch of other cars they said they'd be able to bring it to the front and they did. 5 Stars Thank You

EVEN THOUGH THE WEBSITE CLEARLY STATES YOU CAN GO ON TO THE YARD MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM TO 4PM... VERY UPSET CUSTOMER I'M REALLY THINKING ON DROPPING COPPART AS MY PLACE OF BUSINESS AND GOING TO IAA INSTEAD . THE WAY THAT THE COPART EMPLOYEES TREAT THE CUSTOMERS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.. Had my car taken here after my accident. Whoever goes through peoples things and puts them into the bag better be watched. I had $60 stolen out of my wallet, everything else was in there except for the money. A big box of tools I kept in case of emergency that was in my trunk was stolen. And now a necklace I hung from my mirror in remembrance of my grandma who passed away is gone. Absolutely broke my heart. Can’t trust anyone with your car. And they don’t do anything about it. Just tell you to write it on a paper and maybe your insurance can take care of it.

Our car was towed here because it was totalled. The people were very nice when we went back to get pur belongings out of car. Just make sure you take a box or something to get your stuff.

REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE DROVE ALL THE WAY FROM PALM SPRINGS CALIFORNIA 5 HRS ON THE ROAD PLUS HOTEL GAS AND EXPENSES.. I CAME IN ON SATURDAY 01-26-2019 TO PICK IT UP ON MONDAY 01-28-2019 THE CAR WAS LABEL BUY IT NOW AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO GET IN TO CHECK IT OUT , THEY STATED THAT THE ONLY DAYS YOU CAN GO IN THE YARD TO CHECK THE CARS IS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. EVEN THOUGH THE WEBSITE CLEARLY STATES YOU CAN GO ON TO THE YARD MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM TO 4PM... VERY UPSET CUSTOMER I'M REALLY THINKING ON DROPPING COPPART AS MY PLACE OF BUSINESS AND GOING TO IAA INSTEAD . THE WAY THAT THE COPART EMPLOYEES TREAT THE CUSTOMERS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.. AND IT'S NOT ONLY IN CALIFORNIA I CAME TO REALIZE THAT IS HAPPENING IN OTHER STATES AS WELL .......
