I had been looking for rims for my Hyundai Sonata locally & online for a few weeks. I had a friend of mine who works at a scrap yard keeping his eyes open as well… we were at a loss. My mechanic recommended I try Pam's and in 5 minutes I had found exactly what I was looking for. Easiest process ever- I ordered them (Ask for Lee, he's the best!) the next day they delivered them to my mechanic and were put on my car! They even picked up my old rims and brought them back. (THIEVES) i bought an engine from them for my Mercedes car and i bought a warranty with it parts and labor, when i received it and installed it, it turned out to be an internally damaged engine that over-heats, when i contacted them to address the issue they told me send us back the engine and we will replace it with another engine. i shipped it back and when they received it,they refused to cover the warranty and blamed it on me and when i requested them to refund me the money for the engine core, they still refused and ignored my requests.

I am very disappointed and frustrated with PAMs Auto. Rude service and will not give core prices back. They found any and every way to not give me my core money back. EDIT: Since my review PAM's auto has been very eager to rectify the issue noted above. They have since promised to refund me the appropriate amount that was owed. EDIT: i have made attempts to call back and was told by your employees they'd pass the message along to call me back. It's been a month since we made an agreement and there would be reimbursement and there seems to be no effort.

Terrible service. Was told over the phone that they'd pull a BMW 328i part from the engine for us. Once we got there, the guy at the front desk wasn't willing to help at all. He wouldn't even let us show him the part initially and even after we did, his response was literally "I can't pull anything like that from a BMW engine." Also didn't seem to care that we drove 60 miles to find this part. Avoid this place at all cost. **This is the first and only negative review I've ever written.**

This a review about my remote/online experience. These days we are living more than ever the "you have to be a know it all" but the reality is that we don't. I requested a quote (with shipping) from this location on January 14th for a wheel which I found online, with TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and all the specifics associated with the wheel. I took the time to look and research with my VIN number and avoid any confusion, the price tag was $124. The salesman replied saying it would be easier by the phone and asked all the details again about which wheel I was looking for, so I immediately thought I did something not quite right and part of the information was missing on my end. I answered all his questions and let him know that I didn't have an old wheel to send, that this would be my spare one. Then he kept asking me more questions about if I had a wagon o sedan, a wheel with straight or twisted spokes..... I sent a photo of my wheel and finally yes, it is the right one. Next email I received, all these words and adding cost that I don't understand (+$50 core exchange on top of my old wheel [which I don't have]) but I did understand that the price tag of $124 was gone for good. I decided to pull over and called, answered by a machine, I sent yet another email and asked why the price tag ended up being $185? And told him again that I don't have an old wheel to send. "Can you please clarify all these words and adding cost for me?" His final answer was: "So if you do not have a core that we can get back. You would be looking at $215 for an outright price." And that was it. No explanation, no nothing. I said thanks. This is a really a long review but I feel like it's necessary and almost mandatory for a salesman to treat customers that probably doesn't know it all. That's the way I like to be treated. Obviously English is not my first language but after 10 emails plus the very first one requesting the quote I believe it was not impossible. I called another store for the same wheel and it took this salesman 6min 32sec to answer my questions and charge my credit card. Welcoming, polite and in a good mood. Without a rush! Just 6min 32sec, jokes included. Grand total of $165.

Highly aggravated. Had an employee drive 165 miles to pick up a transmission. Pam's refused to assist loading the transmission. Rather than help, they relayed a new company policy to not assist with loading. My problem is as follows; They knew we were coming with a car and stated they would help load. They stated company policy to not take checks, not take company debit cards, and now no loading policy. My employee had to pay with his own card for a transmission they placed on the ground. Could not get help. Been doing business with them for 12 years and was never treated so poorly by any shop anywhere as such. I would certainly stay clear of any company that has the lack of decency to help. Had to return the transmission on a promise they would credit us. Just crazy. Did however get to listen to corporate policy law and dismissive managers pretty much giving little to no care. Nice Got a call from management and appreciated the effort. Here is my problem. Employee pay today was $125. (Wasted Money). Employee pay tomorrow will be $200 to go to another shop 260 miles away. (Redundant spending). That employee is a mechanic that now cannot mechanic for a day . (More lost revenue). Customer that is waiting for car laughed at the above events. I would laugh too. This is a laurel and hardy episode. There is little to be resolved. You have your policies to protect. I have a business that requires a reliable parts supply. We are at polar opposites. I made a mistake in my choice. Response received. Civic Transmission is 92.4 pounds scaled.

I was looking to do a Sync 2 to Sync 3 conversion for my car and found a suitable vehicle on PAM's website. They had a detailed video of the vehicle and it's VIN # which helped me identify if it was the right part I was looking for. When I called, Ty helped me out and was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. There was a small snag regarding the condition of touch screen portion of the parts, but Ty and the manager over at PAM's Auto worked with me to make it right with no issues what so ever. Even if you don't live in the area and these guys have the part you need, I recommend buying from them. I live half-way across the country from their location and the transaction from start to finish was 5 stars.

Purchased a motor installed and lasted 6 hours before the #6 cylinder failed. Took 2 weeks to get another one. Even though they say only parts is the warranty, pretty sure it should last more than 6 hours. A little labor time/compensation would be apprectiated...especially since I have to compensate my customer. After a substantial wait to get the parts in, my repair was completed. The interactions with staff were professional yet friendly. They could stand to learn one of my first lessons in customer service - under promise & over deliver. When a part is being shipped in, it should be promised the day after it's expected & checked on to verify delivery with the shipper. Any delays need to be reported to the customer immediately. They dropped the ball on that.

I ordered a used OEM Honda alloy wheel to replace one that had been badly dented after hitting a pothole at high speed. I looked all over the place to find a matching wheel, but could not find one in my area. I found Pam's listing for a matching wheel on eBay and called them to order over the phone. I placed my order on a Monday and the wheel was delivered on Tuesday (from MN to IL). I was very impressed with their speedy delivery. The guy on the phone was helpful and a good communicator (which I don't take for granted). The price seemed competitive, and the wheel itself was exactly what I was looking for. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again... though I hope I don't have to.

Ridiculous red tape... was Told the replacement part for the bad one they sold us would be ready. Get there and it still 40 minutes before they give me the part.. 2 customers only. Insane ** if it was a one time thing you can look past it. But 75% of the time you get the red tape run around. Go to this dept, they send you to the next dept. and hurry up and wait...

I have been dealing with Pam's for almost 4 years and have yet to have a bad experience. If I ever have an issue they go above and beyond to get it resolved. I always get quality parts in a timely manner. Kalvin is my go-to when I need anything. No matter if it is something as small as a piece of trim to something major like and engine, 99% of the time he can find it for me at a reasonable price. If they have to get it from another yard they always make sure to inspect it prior to shipping it to me, and if there are any issues Kalvin lets me know right away. These guys don't get enough credit for the amazing work that they do! Thank you for making my job a little easier by going above and beyond to help me every time I need something!

Pam's has really stepped up in the last couple of years! Sales reps are pretty good about calling if a part has more damage than originally quoted and will work with the price when the can, especially Mick. Also the drivers have gotten a lot better on transporting parts so they make it to the shop in the same condition that they left. Also one thing that I really appreciate is that the driver Nate who will go out of his way to come find me anytime he drops a part off to see if I have any returns or cores, i greatly appreciate that as I cant always stop what I am doing to find the driver before he leaves to get things back as needed.

I bought a car part from them on eBay marked as compatible with my car, received the part and had it repainted to get it installed to find out the part was not compatible as described in their listing. Had to pay the body shop for the paint job and labor when I tried to return it, they denied the return because eBay has a rule that favors the seller if the item has been modified. When I called them "Randy" their eBay sales rep informed that they would not take the part back since I filed a claim they would not work with me and let me out of the money for the part as well. So I paid over 300 for a worthless part that the seller incorrectly described as compatible with my model. The kicker is that Randy made it a point to rub it in that they wouldn't work with me because a filed a case. Not sure what kind of business they are running but I know I will not use them again, nor buy anything from eBay since their buyer protection is worthless as it seems to have loopholes in special cases.
