Called them they said they had 2 or 3 engines for my car so I drove an hour and half from a different state, they showed me 4 or 5 cars all the wrong years and not one had a good engine, sure would have been nice if they would have took a short walk in their junk yard and looked before telling me they had a good engine for me. Oh well found a good motor and a great deal with a good warranty at Chesney Auto salvage so I guess the trip wasn't a total loss

I called them in the morning and asked them to junk two vehicles I had. They were there on the same day. They gave me a fair price and the service was very good. They knew what they were doing and were very polite while doing it.

Don't waste your time if you can find parts elsewhere. A lot of everything but the yard is extremely unorganized and it takes forever to find what you're looking for. Bring a fat wallet if you do find stuff, classic vehicles they ask NOS value for crusty junk.

Know before you go... I called ahead to verify they had a set of 4 tires that would fit my son's car before I made the 2 hour trek. The guy on the phone insisted they had several sets of various models and tread life in that size. When asked to send a photo or list of a few choices he said he was unable but insisted I would have a good selection and to just come on in. I arrived to discover they only had one set of four that would fit, and despite worn tread and being a very cheap Chinese brand, they wanted way too much for them. After reading the other reviews, two recurring themes seem to prevail here...1. They are extremely disorganized and really don't know what they have for sure. No inventory system, no organization, no method to the madness...one look at their office tells the story. 2. They don't like to do any leg work locating parts until you're there in person. It's almost as if their MO is if they can get you to their location, they can try to sell you on what they have to offer. Unfortunately, if you're like me, I don't like to wast my time... Oh, and they certainly love their tires...their prices reflect that as well as their over abundant inventory of them. Executive Summary: Know before you go, and have a plan B if they don't produce what they say... Post Script: After the "Management" posted the kind response below, they emailed me the following: "Thanks for the review. Next time try your own local Junk Yard. Then you can compare everyone's "cheap" tires. Being you want them for almost free as you stated in the prior emails. Better yet go to a tire store. You can get coffee and they can even put them on for you." Clearly not a stable individual.

I came here looking for a very specific part for a 2004 dodge intrepid. The people there were very knowledgeable. They knew agsactly which part I was talking about, and they knew agsactly which spot in their salvage yard I needed to go to find a vehicle to get the part off of. They borrowed me a yard truck to get my tools and everything to the junker vehicle, and even borrowed me some screwdrivers as I forgot mine. Their price was extremely reasonable. As the part I needed was so small, they did not even charge me for it at all. They have completely 100% helped me out today and I would highly recommend going to them for your auto salvage needs. I was at chesneys auto salvage looking for this part first, as they were closer to where I live. I had a terrible experience there. They wouldnt let me touch any of the cars without buying the whole motor for 850$. Yeah right... I was looking for small alignment pins for a water pump, not a 850$ engine thats probly no good anyway. Highly recommend MARKS SALVAGE instead.

Called from out of state about a gauge cluster I found on car-part. Whoever I spoke with over the phone was very pleasant, and helpful. The employee confirmed the price with me ($50, which matched the price listed online) plus whatever shipping cost would be to MA. Great! Seemed like they would have the part out the same day. I called the next day to see if the item was shipped (after not receiving confirmation email), only to be told that the owner/boss decided he could not sell the part for that price. This is not a reflection of the employee (who seemed sincerely apologetic), but the owner/manager. Very bad look to back out of a sale that way, and the days of someones word being their honor are done.
