verry good prices on tires. the u pull it lot does not have a great selection of cars and everything is on the ground instead of stands but atleast they dont charge an entry fee like u pull r parts in east bethel does. verry friendly and helpfull staff.

Great people, I purchased a used engine from them on ebay, they shipped it all the way to south Georgia for me and it is a great engine runs like new. They are great to deal with and very helpful. I highly recommend anyone looking for used parts to shop with them.

Been going here for years, much friendlier than anyone else around. No yard fee, which is great for someone like me who likes to wander and see what catches my eye, likewise the owner's quick to call out a (very agreeable) price on a pile of oddball parts, where other yards will go through what you bring up to the counter piece by piece. Good amount of turnover in the yard, too.

Before I went there I downloaded a comprehensive spreadsheet detailing exactly what cars used the exact rim that my sisters 2013 Kia Soul needed. There's a list a mile long of American and foreign cars that use the 5x114.3 hole pattern with a 16 by 6 inch rim. Allll I was after was a donut spare tire. Which I was able to easily find by looking at my list there was a Toyota there. I looked at my list to my Toyota was on my list. Snapped up a brand new donut spare tire and Jack and Jack accessories for $20 in and out in less than a half-hour. Highly recommended for people who know how to work on cars but if you're an ignorant dolt golden Napa or one of the other auto parts stores and pay for somebody to give you advice these people don't have patience for ignoramus. And for that matter I really don't blame up if you're going to a junkyard for a part you really oughta know what the hell you're looking for and not expect them to do all your mental work for you.

Poor time service tell you it would be out and ready in a day and half its been almost 4 days and still don't have it out and poor customer service when you call cuz it's been 3 times the time it took the customer to get the old one out and all they have to says is will we have other things to do also

As I was checking out after hour in the yard, paid $30 for all parts. The owner comes in and was rude & yelled at his work for selling me the parts so cheap that he said he should take parts back an give me money back or pay more. I put an hour of work to get this part off and now they won’t sell it? WORST BUSINESS OWNER EVER. I ended up paying another $30. It’s a junk yard for a reason if you can’t respect that I came n took part off myself then close your yard.

Second time that I drove 40 min just to be shown the wrong part, even though I confirm with the website and on the phone. I was the only one the and it took 10 min to get to me, after that it took 20 min to locates the wrong part. Please save your self hassle and time and avoid this place. The parts are price little cheaper, but what good is that do if it the wrong part. For a little more cost you get professionalism and saved time that is priceless.

Horrible first experience!!! Poor customer service from the start. We are a small repair shop, we ordered a used transmission from them which was not delivered when they said it would be. After numerous phone calls not returned, tons of attitude, and being fed excuses and that were not true, we found out it was not even out of the other vehicle yet. Days later we finally pickup this transmission ourselves, install it in the customers vehicle and it was no good. We called Jellison's giving them an opportunity to make it right. Matt was much more professional to work with, at least it seemed he was trying. More days go by and he finally found us another transmission, we installed that in the customer's vehicle and it was also bad. Jellison's only offer was for us to take the transmission out again (and lose even more time), bring it back, and they would give us back the original bad transmission, and refund us the $150 difference between the first and second transmission they sold us. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! We lost many hours of labor on this job, and are left with an unsatisfied customer. We will not be using them again. Way to establish good business to business relationships.

Used parts are a hit or miss and some of them are good and some of them bad. You take a risk buying used parts and are a fool to believe they come with the same promises and warranties as new parts. That being said, if you know what you need and can get it yourself, nothing wrong with this place. Recently found a part that was unavailable from any other local place and the price was more than fair. I took a risk on the electronic portion of that part and if it did not work, that would be on me.They cant guarantee used parts. Period. Worked in the scrap business before and they dont know the condition of said transmission, they can only tell you if they have one or not. Its on you if you want to take a risk on a used one.

Good prices and the guys up front are great. Tons of snow on the cars which is fine, but if they were able to clear a path down the main roads, or even drive a snowmobile around a bit to pack the snow down it would be much easier to get around the lot. I found what I needed at a good price so I will definitely be checking Jellison's out again the next time I need used car parts.

I would give a zero star if I could. Recently bought a used transmission to have put in my car it was supposed to have 48,000 miles but the one we got had 177,000 miles. Luckly before the mechanic put it in the error was found. My husband had to drive another 2 hours one way to get the one we bought. There response was "they couldn't find it" which means they decided to give us a transmission they had laying around, with out telling or asking us. Husband was told they would credit us back for the transmission because the mistake was on there end but all they did was give us the tranamission they were supposed to give us in the first place. Now we have an additional 4 hours of driving and 4 hours of mechanic labor which is 80 dollars an hour because the motor was already hanging so they couldn't work on anyone else's cars. Be aware!!! This action speaks volumes a business should never just give a customer whatever they want and they should own their mistakes and pay for it! We are not mechanics so we had no idea. Just an fyi to this company the mechanic that is repairing our car has several dealers he works with and has let them know your business practice and they will no longer be doing business with you. Mistakes happen we know this but When you intentionally give someone something they did not buy this is deceiving and immoral. You should pay for the cost not the customer. Shame on you!

Not sure which has been the worst experience with bad parts, this place or Abc in Fridley. The service was ok, although a couple times when i called nobody knew what i was talking about and twice was put on hold for over 20 minutes each time. Order a transmission that was supposed to be good, Install it and 15 minutes into my test drive i start having issues with it. No problem, so i call them up and they're like we dont have another one, bring it back and we'll refund your money(now when i bought it it was delivered to me being im a repair facility) so im like sure no problem, i drive 45 minutes and bring it back but tell them you know so you dont have to refund me i'll just purchase an engine for an 08 corolla that you have, fair enough? I thought so. I tell them no rush(it was Saturday) if you bring it by Tuesday its alright. 3 weeks later i hadnt seen the engine despite calling on it at least 2x. Finally it comes in on a friday and i start working on it but to my surprise the engine looks like it came out of a 1999-2002 corolla and mine is 2008. So im like meh, maybe they cross and work and they know more than i do. Swaped intake/exhaust and everything that needed to be changed, Pppfff big mistake, should've known better. i get the engine installed and go to start it up, takes about 30 seconds to crank up each time, fires up and what do i hear? A frigging Rod so loud that my guys at the shop were like WTH!!! Drain the oil that we had just put in it brand new and it looks like silver metallic paint! Called the up and they wouldn't even cover part of my labor and now they want me once again to bring it to them to return it. Would never purchase anything from this place again!!!!

Over the years I’ve had multiple customers have issues with bad parts and service from these guys. They sell you a junk part and won’t refund or exchange the part. I have a customer that spent $400 on a transmission that was junk and they wouldn’t refund or admit any fault in selling him the bad unit. Now my customer is out $400 and no closer to a working car. Do your self a huge favor and go to a reputable yard like aabco or u pull it. I’ll give a discount on any used part install not from the Jellisons.
