I brought a large bundle of zero gauge copper wire with a stray coaxial cable mixed in. They weighed it and gave me coax price for the whole bundle, $1.50 in total. When I confronted them the guys operating the scale didn't deny trying to pull one over on me. Would not recommend these scum bags to anyone.

Me and my mother took my old car to get it scrapped and the lady up front was very rude and rushed us. They also lie about their prices on the phone to get you to come in and then they give you a much lower price once you’re there. I will NOT be coming back here for anything and I highly recommend avoiding this place if you want an even close to fair price for your scrap.

Called Scrap Dog ahead of time to see if they weighed boat trailers for the secretary of state. They told me they did, so i drove 20 minutes to get it weighed. Went to the secretary of state with the weight invoice they gave me, and it was not accepted. long story short don't waste your time going here, go to Drayton metal instead.

Twice now I have called scrap dog for pricing on aluminum millings and have established a price over the phone. Both times they did not honor the price they gave over the phone once I drove 30 minutes to get there. The last time the price was $.18 a pound lower than told over the phone. They said they made a mistake that the higher price was for solid aluminum. 2 different scrap places 1 of them 10 minutes down the road still gave $.10 a pound higher than what Scrap Dog was willing to match. Scrappers beware is all I have to say.

The guy who drives the red Ford tow truck for scrap dog dont know anything about towing I towed cars for almost a year and yet know for a fact that I could get a truck out of the driveways it was sitting in when I called for it to get picked up but he just didn't know how to do his job and didn't wanna do any work hate to say that about scrap dog but I think they need a new driver because everyone at the yard are nice never have any problems with anyone besides the tow truck driver he needs some training for sure and he also went over to the neighbors house before even talking him and some other guy went over there and that's not why I called for a tow wasted my hole day away hopefully he can get the training he needs to drive that truck

Horrible place Ver racist man that works the steel/shred pile . Total stole my nonferrous metal.. I have mixed loads every time I scrap. I must separate my ferrous from nonferrous at the yard. I remove my nonferrous and place it on the ground next to my vehicle. This guy comes up and takes my nonferrous and says I picking the pile and stealing.. I told him I had it and it was mine but he was very insistent about it. I requested that they review the cameras but they refused. This man is very racist and isn't even man enough to say something to my face. He would rather go harass my wife who is always with me. They will also RIP you off with anything that they can get away with. The let people toss nonferrous items in the steel/shred pile and then say people that supposedly are picking out the pile are stealing from it.. They should be honest with all customers and explain how to scrap properly and tell them what is steel or not.. They are very dishonest and that very ignorant man at the shred pile is a total piece of garbage that is to big of a bi@([ to talk to a man..

Called about the price for scrapping an 03’ ion, was told 160 on the phone. They only did 120 for it once I got there. They blatantly lie to get more business. The.. unpleasant.. “lady” up front was very rude and rushed through the process as well. I do not recommend going here. There are plenty of better scrap yards.

Be careful they may pay more but they charge by the GROSS TON which is 2240 instead of NET TON which is 2000 pounds EVERYWHERE ELSE....so you are giving them 240 pounds every ton... so if you get paid $5 more a ton from them you make much less.....they was not up front of the GROSS TON had to figure it out then called and was informed That is was gross ton not net ton

Horrible scrap yard the one guy that watches the steel pile will accuse you of steeling scrap out of the steel pile even though it was my own scrap And everytime i went back he had to make a threatening remarks to me i don't know if its because I'm a female or because I'm white or both but idk wth his problem is I went to make a complaint to the manager and she was no help at all just so very very rude There is plenty of scrap yards to go to just please don't make scrap dogs one of them

Well organized, fair prices (based on metals market, nothing more nothing less) In and out quickly. Saturdays they were doing cookouts, which is a nice draw... At least for us! With their frequent seller punch card you van make a decent turnaround d here. Always come back here!

Awesome experience Chris at Scapdog clearly explained the options available to get rid of the scrap I needed removed. Deciding that I would rather have someone else bring the scrap to them then haul it myself (didn't really have a vehicle or the time) Chris put me into contact with a gentleman by the name of Mr. Robinson. Mr Robinson was very polite, friendly, and professional. After finishing loaded he took the extra time to make sure not only that we were satisfied with the experience but his helper walked the property with me to make sure there was nothing else I may have missed. I will be utilizing Scrap Dog for all my future Scrap and Recycling needs

Howard Hellings, the proprietor, is a great guy and frequently grills hot dogs on Saturday afternoons to share with his employees and customers! How great is that?!

Worst prices in town. They try to trick you with their price which up front looks about the same as other scrap yards but their price is based on gross ton which is 2240 pounds. That makes their price be about 11 percent less than other yards with same price. For example with a price of 150 a ton you would only get 134 dollars for 2000 pounds at scraps while everywhere else you get 150.
