Fantastic place. The people were very friendly and professional. Came to pick up a transmission. They got it loaded up and taken care of in 10 mins! Best time so far and i go to other places like this every day and always have to wait at least 45 mins before they even help me. I recommend this place to everyone!

We have been using Jim’s every year to get tires changed out but for the past year we have been disappointed. My wife had snow tires switched out on rims and they had trouble getting the bead to seal and told her to back up and drive forward again to get the seal and added more air. Now snowing almost white out condition with the schools calling letting out early, she is stuck on 53 with a flat tire. I called Jim’s only to get a response "I don't recall a Toyota Sienna or (someone with that name) in here today". Dude, it was 45 minutes ago and she spend over an hour in your office area with you in there and you can't remember? Decided not to take it back to have them fix it, Milnes Chevrolet fixed it for her for free and found out they are cheaper for the same service. Will take my car to Milnes tomorrow. Can't believe Jim's let her leave with a leaking tire that should have been sealed while the tire was on the machine and soap and water would show the leak! Too bad, as I liked supporting local businesses. just found out Jim's stretched the tire out so bad won't seat to the rim now. Will take back tomorrow but if this isn't updated, they did nothing to fix the issue.

This place is great! I needed a new door handle for my truck, and like magic a little guy pulled one out like it was nothing. I was very appreciative on the price as well. Needless to say, my new handle broke in the same spot as the old one. Not there fault, just the design of the mold for the cast iron handle. Will definately do business here again.

Staff is poor with terrible people skills. They'll cheat you on parts.. DO NOT waste TIME OR MONEY IN THIS FACILITY... bought a tranny knowing its from a salvage yard.. trans was burnt up from the begging with a 30 day warranty. Took it back and they immediately had a attitude about this, took it in argued for a few mins. I caved an accepted thier return policy of instore credit checked out a couple parts I thought I could use. Stephen a employee says let me talk to jim he has history of giving people money back in some situations.. I agreed with him and after leaving some Andy called an was a complete ***hole saying I'm trying to give them the wrong tranny back. Voided my warranty and said my in-store credit is no good. basically said kick rocks... this isn't over.. they say its the wrong trans cause it has 2bolts holding the trans pan an they had to pry the converter off.. well dosent sound like the wrong one, just the same paper weight you sold me..I'm telling you people I am very honest an this place is the worst operation I've ever seen. Obviously I'm not the only one that has talked about the business they provide. More of a junk yard than salvage.. nothing good comes from this place. Read all comments before going.

Employees are all extremely rude, that would be tolerable if they had decent product for the price. But you can't win for losing here. Save yourself the headache and drive alittle further to a more professional site. Most prices from competitors are cheaper or the same with a better product or better policy.

They sell products they pay me for my scrap. There prices are as good as anyone else's in the area. There a junk yard, there not the cheapest place in town BUT they have many items and even pulled off most of the items i've needed.

Great place, reasonable prices. I have been to the junkyard multiple times to get parts for my project car. Its good to call and see if they have your car so you don't waste your time. They had one, so I went and pulled the parts myself, and was charged reasonable prices for them. If you pay them to pull it might be more expensive, but at least for my rare vehicle, its way cheaper to go to Jims Recycling and pull it myself than order it from a website somewhere.

Good place to scrap stuff but remember they close at 5pm but the scales shut down at 430pm. If you call they will not tell you that unless you are luckier than me you make a 45 min drive to have to turn around and go back the next day is frustrating

I have been there a few time and the past couple of times it's been the same go there they say they'll pull it they'll call you if they call you that day they will tell you to come there in the morning and part be ready well guess what wrong didnt get the part until 4pm the next day and wasn't even the part I paid for them to pull this place is a joke the people are rude dude you work at a junk yard not the white house! save your time and money go some where else and be treated like a person not the scum under their greasy feet.

Bought a blower fan for my truck changed the fuse for the heater and it worked called not even 20 min later to ask to return my 37$ item they said no. I get it’s a scrap yard but I didn’t even have it for 20 min and they said no. I won’t be going back OR recommending this to anyone I’ll be telling them to go elsewhere

There prices are stupid low! Gave my employee $.20 a pound for 400lbs of unstripped copper 500kcmil wire. It's a $1.20 at every other scrap yard. They are theives and ignorant people.

I contacted the BBE over these jackals this morning. I had sent 80 plus pounds of aluminum siding and AFTER the guy crushed my metal, it was disclosed that it was only worth 4 dollars... Which is absolute CRAP.. They wouldn't return my metal, (already crushed) and they were also "out of receipts" .. I have witnesses to the amount of aluminum they totally RIPPED me for: I am POSITIVE they made around 30-40 dollars and gave me a whopping 4.10 for EIGHTY plus pounds... I WILLLL NEVERR take another load to these Crooks. Buyers beware.. Or sellers. Go to Barkers. Barring that?! Midway. Avoid these crooks like the plague.

Called on a Saturday for a few parts, was told, we close at 3, I said I would be there before 3. Parts werent even pulled. Was told they would be on Monday, didnt get a call to verify they were pulled until after noon onTuesday. I have way better ways to waste my time than this. Got the same parts on Sunday, for 50 dollars less than their quote besides.

This place is awful. The owner is trash just like the cars he collects. Treats his employees like their nothing as he rides around on a high horse all day. Terrible pay. Awful working conditions. I wouldn't refer anyone to that disgusting place. I hope he gets shut down soon. The tire store is bull as well. The only tire tech they have has no breaks within an 8 hour shift. Don't waste you time or money with these people. Seriously. They don't deserve your money.

They gave me a lower price then my brother who was right behind me in line. I noticed this later and called them. The lady on the phone was incredibly rude. She went as far as mocking me in a very snotty voice. Customers keep you in business and when you screw them and treat them poorly they will go else where. Way to go Jims....I have been going to haacks for years and decided to give this place a chance...what a waste of time that was.
