I have been going to to facility on Sherwood, for several years. I think most of the staff is very accommodating. Tim in the non-ferrous portion is exceptionally friendly, and always willing to help. The only issue I have,is people throwing off older TV'S, with the glass, and items that are more plastic than metal. I hope this will become more supervised, the glass is dangerous to tires, and other people.

This place will rip you off. Even if you ask questions to try and get tip dollar for your metals, they won't give you the answers. The manager told me it is not his job to educate customers. I see, it is to make sure we get the least amount for our scrap. I suggest you save yourself and not go here. Liars and thieves is what you will find. I will never be back.

Brought in 500 pounds of 18/2 22/6 and cat 5 . Claimed it was only 100 pounds then paid it at coax rate .never again will I go there

Do not hire them or give them your business. These guys operate like a bunch of pirates. They were three weeks late to start the project. Of course the cost of the project is always the same as the value of the scrap. Code for they are thief’s. We awarded them the project based on specific guidelines about cleaning the area. They showed up late. Pulled as much metal as they could in two days and just disappeared. Bryan Cherkasky - you are a horrible human being who deserves to be in jail.

No instructions so here they are: Enter the scale when empty. On the green light veer right and dump your scrap as close to the covered area as possible. Reenter the scale, on the green light exit left and go to the first window. Have your ID and vehicle registration in hand. Collect your cash at the cash machine. Exit to the building to the south side of the lot and empty your sorted nonferrous mettles into bins or carts enter the building and have it weighed. Return to the window in the other building and repeat the collection process. Very competitive prices on mettles. Very cool staff. Highly recommended!

Very nice people who work there! Otherwise their atm system sucks n the scrap price is real low at this time. Kinda disappointing.

I will happily drive the 20 miles to Milford to take my business there, when GLE refused to take my business. Apparently the type of vehicle that you use to transport your scrap to them has to be to their liking or they shoo you out of the yard. My vehicle was not rusty, old, broke down or in any way necessary for them to push me away. Very rude, will never recommend people here.

this place feels like working in a prison chain gang...everyone working there is watching/looking at you like your gonna crook them or something...even had some guy at the main pile with his arms crossed watching people throw scrap out...I dont like that type of no confidence/paranoia in a company...plus their scale is OFF and they misweight people...go to basic or SLC

I weigh 163 pounds in shorts and a t shirt, however wearing a Carhart winter coat winter heavy hiking boots gloves two pairs of pants two shirts two pairs of socks I Weighed 140 pounds on their scale no way possible. I think they put their scale at 20 or so pounds lighter than what it should be. They are ripping people off.

The staff is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Prices vary but with weight you can haggle to get a better price. You will never get a better price unless you ask.
