Unfortunately over the last year this location has become unbearably slow, with our wait times being 2.5 Hours plus. I recommend finding another processing center if you are in a rush.

Metal on the road in front of the scrapyard in Pontiac. Drove past this morning going to work and got a two inch metal shard in my tire. Called the office and only got "Sorry but we won't do anything." Tire needs to be replaced can't patch or plug the hole and no money to replace the tire.

EXCELLENT STAFF AND SERVICE! Yesterday was my 1st time to a scrap yard. I almost didn't come here because of the reviews I read. My experience was nothing short of EXCELLENT. The gentleman at the gate was GREAT! Very helpful, pleasant and informative. Chris, the gentleman who was guiding traffic, understood it was my 1st time at a scrap yard and actually walked beside my truck all the way back to the scrap pile, unloaded the metal for me and then gave me very clear instructions to recycle my batteries. Shed 3 was my next stop. The gentleman there was just like Chris, very helpful, respectful, polite and made the battery recycle process extremely efficient. Bless his heart...he explained more than once how to go get my money. Next was the scale area. This gentleman understood this was my 1st time there and respectfully explained the process to get my money and answered my questions. He was also very efficient which I appreciated. Overall each person made this process very easy for me. It was intimidating to go there the 1st time with all the large trucks, equipment and piles. But I'll never hesitate to use and recommend FERROUS PROCESSING. Thank you!

This place used to be great...used to. I am a regular guy, not sensitive and hard to offend but they don't answer the phone like a business, they talk to you like you are having words during rec time in prison then they try to rip you off. It's a shame, I used to enjoy doing business here. There are far more honest yards within a few miles and they actually act like they are running a business.

Not the best prices and other yards in the area are willing to do more for your business. To get a good price here it seems like you have to know someone !
