Watch your tires. This filthy yard had destroyed 2 tires now with random bolts and metal scraps littering their paths. Enter at your own peril.
Great service super friendly extremely accurate scale's
Great scrap yard. Professional, courteous and got a great price for my junk.
I am very impressed with the service I received at Admiral Metals. The staff is great. Super nice guys, and very welcoming. I will be returning. Thanks
I never write reviews. I really felt like I should this time.... Everyone there is kind, happy, and easy to talk to. From the owner, to the guy directing me, to the guy helping me unload, and the guy processing the scrap inside.... They are happy and polite. Seriously going to be the only place I deal with. Keep up the good work. Just being polite and understanding goes a long way.
Great place to recycle old computers and servers.
Very cool people. Helpful and down to earth. I brought back lead and the one kid got me 5¢ more per pound. I walked out with almost $400. I tipped the two best workers(in my opinion) $20 a piece. Do yourself a favor and take all of you're scrap here
I wouldn't take my scrap anywhere else. They give the best prices in town.
Normally, we are in and out and are always treated fairly. Today, unfortunately, we had an encounter with one of the employees who began throwing a fit that we were not parked in the proper place. It would be one thing if we were asked nicely to move, or if we were parked in a spot that had a no parking sign. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but I can easily take my business elsewhere if that's how you'd like to treat clients that come in on a regular basis.
Won't be back had my trailer parked in there tiny parking lot and one of the worker's ran into it with a hilo and all I got was sorry we are not responsible for damages in the lot.
Always a good experience at Admiral Metals. Friendly staff and great prices
great people!
Staff nice and helpful never have a problem going here
I checked the reviews before I go. Cleanness and efficiency really impressed me. Thumb up!
Having never turned in metals before, I didn't have any idea what i was doing when i got there and the employees couldn't have been nicer. Great place all around.
great
Got my scrap on today :) Not only did I keep almost 250 lbs of metal from going into landfills but I made some extra cash. Also, the guys at this scrap yard are the coolest and friendliest dudes you'll ever meet thanks @admiralmetals
Best Scrap yard in town. Great service from the whole team there.
These guys are the best in the business, the owners are awesome, solid prices, clean yard and 100% great customer service, don’t waste your time going anywhere else.
Great scrap yard. Have been going here for the past 2 years, convenient hours and good prices. Elliot is very helpful and the staff keeps the flow moving good.
Thank you once again to Elliot Brandon and the rest of the guys over at Admiral for taking good care of me! :-) just about through Motors rotors and radiators in the steel they pulled it out and I scored over $100 in stuff that was just going to be thrown away! :-)
A dear friend of mine passed away in June of this year. His wife (the surviving spouse) decided once and for all to clean up the basement and garage. Of course this undertaking did result in a number of items to be discarded and thrown to the curb. Having limited resources but lots of time at the moment I offered to explore the opportunity of returning a large number of replaced household items such as - a number of sinks, garbage disposal, enormous treadmill, a campfire burning pit, doors, overhead lamps, and a number of rusty & old car parts. The folks at Admiral were exceptionally helpful to me. They helped me determine the aluminum items versus steel and even helped me unload the treadmill base which I put at least 225 pounds or more. Not being "a scraper" or very familiar with such things I felt they were very honest and showed "a caring concern" to the customer. The amount of items returned did not result in significant dollars ($55) but the prompt, honest, and helpful service I felt was significant. Just want to give credit where credit is due and send a "Thank You" to the folks at Admiral Metals LLC. JJG.
Today was my first visit to Admiral Metals today and I was 100% glad I chose them. I have dealt with other area recycling companies in the past and I usually have to deal with crabby employees that don't care about helping you because they don't want to work there. The employees at Admiral were very nice, accommodating, helpful and honestly pleasant to deal with. I will be doing all my recycling at Admiral from now on. Give your employees a pat on the back because they deserve it!
Bought a Steel Sheet from them. About 2'x3' for $4.00. Guys were helpful. Even the crane operator helped by stop moving the crane until I get what I wanted.
The people are friendly and just like you or me.:)
See update below my initial review!

I go here just often enough that people seem to recognize me and the guy running the scale can almost remember my name with a little prompting. So I'm not their most frequent peddler, but I probably visited 20-ish times last year.
When I first started my scrapping hobby, I came here because it was the closest place. This was perhaps 10 years ago or maybe more. At that time, they didn't have a truck scale, so you had to load your material into a container, which they would then tote by hi-lo over to a scale and weigh. It was much more physical effort to do business with them than their main competitors, and their prices were often just a tiny bit less than other places too. I went elsewhere.
Fast forward through ten years of hobby-level scrapping and going to other places. One day a year or so ago, I had a load I needed to flip quickly, and I decided to give these guys another try. I'm glad I did. The yard has been reorganized, they've invested in a truck scale, and they've taken the business to the next level. They are now at par, or at better than par with their competitors in terms of the layout of the yard and their equipment.
After witnessing all of the crackheads, thieves, and ne'er-do-wells at the other places I was going to (and that's just the employees! You should see the peddlers!) coming to Admiral is now my first choice, rather than my last. If they're a penny less per pound on the material, it's money I would have spent in fuel going further away anyway, so as long as they're close in price, it's not much of a deciding factor. I don't feel like I'm risking getting into a gunfight in the parking lot like at some of the other places; that's a definite plus! And the staff is uniformly polite and helpful.
Great experience! Everyone is very polite. Easy, quick visit. Perfect!
Always friendly and fair. Good prices and courteous workers.
Admiral metals is by far the best scrapyard I have ever had the pleasure doing buisness with! They are always friendly and recognize regulars. Their prices are always fair and worth taking my scrap too. I would give them more than 5 stars if possible!
Scrap metal
nice guy gave me money even though i didn't meet there minimum weight
Elliot and the guys are always helpful and are great to work with
Top notch state of the art yard, best prices in town, can't get any better .
Helped us out even though they were closing. Everyone was pleasant and the prices were fair. Elliot was so friendly and I really appreciate his extra help! Definitely recommend.
I've been coming here for years. It seems like every time I'm here, the process has been improved just a little bit. Their pay out is on par with most places. Sometimes it's a little less, but for the ease of service, I don't mind losing a couple bucks.
Great price and a great experience. operator 9 helped me through the whole process without a hitch.
