People say there scales are off in there favor. Yet every time i scrap i weigh my scrap first and there scales are always on point. Might be off by 1/2 lbs or so. There competition down the street tries paying you next to nothing if they think they can get away with it. At TJ'S ive always got a fair price, ALWAYS!!!.

The owner is always there ans I like that. The guys are pretty cool fair prices easy access in and out I bring all my scrap here

TJS always is fair, Jimmy is always helpful and I have never been paid so much for my scrap. I used to go to their competitor down the street before I knew of TJS and I make 8-10 times MORE going to TJS. The only bad review they have on here is clearly from their competitor.

I went to Haverhill steel down the street and they tried to pay me $0.05 a pound so I went down to TJ's and he paid me $0.24 a pound for industrial battery chargers. Guess where I'm going from now on.

Scales are purposely off in their favor. I would avoid this place like the plague. Make sure you weigh your stuff before so you know how much you got or don't go there.

Got $19 for 1600 pounds of pipe. Went to Minicheiello Brothers on 431 2nd St, Everett with next load of the same weight and got $180. Guess where I'm going from now on. I would have given TJS no stars but you have to give one to be able to post.
