Not sure what a bad dump would be like but this isn't it. Well organized, has periodic hazardous waste days, and a van full of books for you to leave or take as you wish!

This is my favorite place in Newton. The attendants are wonderfully helpful, friendly, and hard working - they should get a special commendation! There are so many great recycling and re-use programs available here. Thank you for all the special programs too such as Hazardous Waste, books, and swap shed. Much appreciated!

I love the book swap. I get rid of foam, CFL light bulbs, clothes, metal scraps, and large cardboard, and then grab a book or two. Everyone is incredibly helpful. I find a great way to store used CFL bulbs is in 6 pack beer cartons.

Recycle your cardboard, rigid plastic, and metal. Drop off styrofoam, florescent bulbs, and hazardous batteries too.

Easy place to get rid of those bulky boxes, styrofoam, and old cfl bulbs. Easiest part of moving to town!

Very well run and organized. The entire area is clean, every location labeled and easy to access, and the attendants (I met two at diffferent times) are pleasant and willing to help. It is a place where you can easily dispose of large cardboard boxes, styrofoam, plastic, books, and even donate to charities.

I make regular trips to the Recycling Depot. The site is well organized and clean. As importantly, the folks working at the facility are always friendly and helpful- making the experience so much more pleasant than a trip to a recycling site might otherwise be.
