EVERY-TIME I make a call to Everett's I have a bad experience where they are very rude and quickly to try to get rid of you. I asked about a particular car battery this round and received back a very short and quick response that they have all battery types and to go there. Yeah right, I plan on driving 45 minutes or so to only find out that they do not have the particular type. This has occurred in the past with Everett's after being told that a car part was available and for which wasn't the case. So I ask for pricing and availability for which he then sighs. I say to the gentleman "I realize that I am making you work" but unfortunately this is your job. The gentleman places me on hold and after several minutes he mentions that they have the battery. I then ask for his name which he replied back with Bob and immediately a change of tone in his voice and now willing to assist in any way..LOL..Always a negative experience with Everett's..Step up your customer service experience by many notches or just simply fire all current employees starting back from scratch.

Layout: The self-service yard is well organized. There is a map at the entrance. The cars of the same make and similar years are placed in rows; and there is workable spacing in between cars. This ensures efficient navigation. I personally find this to be the easiest yard to pull parts. Pricing: Admission is free. Usually the pricing of parts is on the lower compared to other yards. Same parts of different makes are of a same and reasonable price. The price list is transparent; and is posted online. You know what you will be paying as you pull it out. If you need just a small stuff like a bolt or a lug nut, sometimes they'd even just give it to you. Service: Awesome. Staff are friendly, helpful and usually personable. On a busy day all staff might be occupied by calls or cash registry. So they might be brief in conversation or calls, but I think it's totally understandable for any hardworking people. Best way to ask over the phone is to confirm they have the made and the generation that you are looking for in the yard. And just come find the part yourself. They lend jacks and carts for free. Also they offer free coolant. Others: Every month they give away a set of tools through a draw. Make sure to enter. The yard also has a used car dealership. Most cars are around 10 years old. I've never bought a car from them but I think that the cars are mostly in good shapes for their respective years and makes, and the prices are reasonable.

I have read a few outlandishly, negative reviews here. I just got off the phone with Bob, the salesman. He is helpful and quick with the info. Told me today that they would mount tires from there for free, and to come ask for him. The guy that is always at the register when I pay, it always cheerful and helpful. He does the little extras, that a cashier isn't normally trying to do, I don't care what store you go to. The brother behind the customer service island is always looking around to make sure you aren't waiting./waisting you time. I could tell he was on his lunch break, and didn't want to bother him. He still helped me and the guy behind me in line. It is a junk yard, not a hospitality destination. I find the sense of humor there pretty great, and if you have a negative time there, maybe you should grow thicker skin, or get your repairs done at a shop.

Absolutely amazing place! When I lived in Boston, I used to come here every weekend just to check out the yard and see what parts I could get for my project car. After moving, I sure miss this place and try to visit whenever I'm in the area. The self-serve yard is very clean with prices that are more than fair. Bring your own tools, but if you are in a pinch, there are basic tools for purchase as well as jacks and wheelbarrows to loan for free. Some amenities: a bathroom for long days at the yard. Free coolant if you bring your own container. A sink where you can wash your hands after your adventures. Parts counter where you can order parts if you don't want to pull them off yourself. Used cars and fixer-uppers available at the lot next door. Tire mounting services for less than $10. To top all of that off, the guys who work at the yard are very nice! It's amazing to be greeted with a smile and courtesy here, something you would not expect from an establishment of this nature. When you hear the guys say they try to make this the best self-serve yard in the area, they are not joking. Keep up the good work Everett's, and see you soon!

This got to be the best used auto parts in New England. Super clean and super organized yard, free use of wheel barrel, jack and stands. they also got a store with tools in case you forget or break yours. Prices are the cheapest as is, and even cheaper when you compare them to others ( even next door to them). I went there two weeks ago to get a cigarette lighter assembly and it came out to $5.31, but i only had $5 cash, as i was getting my debit card out to pay, Will "the cashier" went straight to his pocket and got the 31 cents, so i wouldn't have to run my card for just 31 cents.. Now that's service!

Nice "you pull it" style junkyard, organized by make. It is free to enter unlike some junkyards, and wheelbarrows are also free for carting around heavy parts you take off. Prices are very reasonable for used goods. They also offer used single tires, used tire sets and rims at reasonable rates. They even offer free used antifreeze if you don't care much for your radiator or water jackets. My only issue is that the cars are slammed down on dirt, often muddy. The yard does this so that they can move vehicles around quickly with large forklifts, which is totally understandable. This causes brake components to sit dirt and mud for some time, so be prepared to bring a hydraulic jack and clean the hell out of any brake or suspension parts you plan to scavenge. This yard does not place vehicles on welded rims like some do, so going underneath them is not an option unless you are suicidal. This makes taking parts like rear axles more of a headache than some yards. Overall it is a minor gripe.

Have gotten used parts and tires over the years with good luck. Also, recently scrapped my car. Called on a Friday and they promptly picked it up the following Monday. Drove from Brockton to pick the car up in Wareham for no extra fee and offerred me more than the local Junk yard that wanted $25 to pick the car up 4 miles away. I highly recommend.

Two out of 2 trips down to Everetts were a bust, the last trip cost them a customer. First time I went down after confirming an old 80's Cadillac was in the lot (I am an hour away) I got there and was told I would have to speak to the owner about the car. Owner came down to simply tell me the car is being sold whole, no parts for sale. OK, I turned and went home. Later found out by the friend who told me it was there that it was never sold whole, and ultimately crushed (that sucks). 2nd Trip- This time I went down after the same friend (who frequents this yard) told me another similar old Cadillac was there, and is in the yard for picking, but act quick, as it is set aside for a quick pick and will be crushed soon. I went down on Sunday and spent 4 hours tearing trim and parts off the car. Went Inside to pay and got treated like a POS. Some of the stuff I took off the car was not priced online, as they do not apply on cars today I assume. That was a mistake on my part for not doing my homework before hand, I will admit. First part I had was a header panel assembly, with grille and lights. He said "Well that right there is $150" I questioned that since two of the lights were cracked and the grille was also broken. I simply asked if that reflected the damaged parts. His response "Whats your point?" Well my point is that if you are charging me $150 for a complete assembly with damaged lights, it may not be worth me taking. He didn't seem to care and proceeded to tell me that the parts were older then me. Then he made a strong point to make me feel like a POS by asking me as he went through every other part "Is that price to high, any objections to that too", or "do you expect these for free as well?" So just as every employee was staring at how this guy was talking to me, he kept asking in a condescending tone if I wanted to keep going or if Its too much money. As he wobbled around the back of the counter I was trying to keep my composure and not tell him to stick the parts up his you know what. Trying not to feel embarrassed anymore by the degrading way he handled a simple question I paid for most of the parts (Left the half damaged $150 header panel there, for them to probably toss in the car and crush) and scurried out the door. He was polite enough to say in the same condescending tone, "Have a nice day, come back again!" Basically these people treat you like the telephone company, they don't need you as much as you need them. I didn't need the parts, I simply wanted them as spares and shame on me for not knowing they do not work with you at all on damaged parts, or parts from cars they have no intentions to keep in the yard and otherwise crush. I go to a lot of junkyards, and most work with you. Just remember they don't have to, they don't need you. **Reply** I was there this past Sunday March 17th at 4 pm. The cashier was the closest to the front of the building. The two gentlemen at the counter in the corner area behind him were staring and made a few comments, and the employee who would have been directly across from this cashier at the center island was looking at me with a look of "oh I feel bad for you" but wasn't able to do anything to help. He looked like the only one who cared.

As far as junkyards go this one is pretty well organized. Calling ahead is not very reliable since they do not always know what cars they have in the lot. I have had pretty friendly service the times I have gone and the prices are reasonable.

Called on Tuesday for a rim ... Person over the phone says that whith in a day will send me a picture of it. Just to make sure that I'm buying right one. Two days passed never got a picture... Called them back another person says that they never sanding any pictures to anyone... What he said is "That's the choice for me to buy with out picture (it's 3 different versions of the same rim) or stop by and check out my self if it's the right one." Sure ... I'm 65 miles away... Will spend all my day in driving what can take them 5 min... It wouldn't be complaint if I didn't spend 3 days of waiting for nothing... Don't promise to people to do something and then say we never doing this.

My Girlfriend had a nightmare of an experience with the tow Company. Am i exaggerating? Think not... They did in fact offer her a bit more money to complete the tow service for being late and unprofessional in the process. Let me continue... The amount of money they offered had not componsated her for the aggravation! Time scheduling is an important aspect of business. She had an appointment. They strung her along, missing two days of work. She was respectful and to the point through the entire ordeal. Unprofessional? You decide if it's worth the aggravation and give them a call. Higher pay out? Or time consuming becoming more costly as your time and effort becomes wasted. So give them a call... find out for yourself if you DARE...

Bought parts that werent any good so I had to pay for same repair twice due to parts being defective; even if a part comes off of another vehicle there should be a protocol where the part still works before reselling it. Bought two front loaded struts installed them and both struts weren't any good; so mechanic charged me to have them installed taken off then reinstalled again

First time dealing with Everett’s. Would have picked up the part that day but had to go elsewhere. Waited on hold, which I can understand it may be busy on a weekend, but then they refused to tell me if they even had my vehicle type in the yard.. told me to come look for myself.. phone call alone made it sound like I was bothering them.. they definitely need to re-evaluate their employee scheduling if they can’t even take 30 seconds to get the customer in the store.

Everett's Auto is one of the most organized recycling scrap yard around the area the other ones r a muddy mess I've noticed in the past few years the prices for junk car parts has tripled so the parts that you cannot get cheap online it's the place that I would go and recommend for anything that's overpriced online or new at a store

My jaw dropped when i saw the used car area; decent Cars ready to drive for under 3k. Their customer service is out - standing although it is a self serve operation. Question for you owner. "IS IT TRUE THAT ON SUNDAYS IS " ALL YOU CAN FIT IN A BUCKET FOR $25"?. thanks for replying. Now to my review. I'm going to be VERY specifuc to hopefully help the people that wil be going over there for 1st time. Tell them what you need and then they wil tell you the lot number you'll have to go to in the yard. Well organized. All numbers belong to certain models so you can't get lost or confused. If you need to lift the car, you'll need to handle your license and then you'll receive a jack. Is like "toys r' us" for man in there. Once you find the parts, you'll walk in through another door with all the S. you found. Pay and get the F. out. Pretty simple though. Now, some cashier guy tried to charge me $10 per lot which I found shady. They could tell I'm not from the area plus it was my 1st time there. I didn't pay because I knew it was BS plus I only went to my respective lot. Good to go on Sundays as soon as they open at 9am. You'll go for one thing but best believe that you'll come out with more than that. Awesome place man. Will be heading over again just for the trip and to see what else I can spend some money on. I liked the yard. Lol...hahahahahaha....

This place is by far the best. It's about 45 minutes from me but well worth the trip compared to the local places. I like the fact that they have set prices for most parts and it doesn't matter what year or make your vehicle is it's the same price. Another plus is that they have wheelbarrows and jacks to borrow. The people are always friendly and helpful and the selection of vehicles is organized, mapped out, and mostly newer years. I have seen a lot of negative reviews and I don't understand why. Its a junkyard not a dealership. If you want an identical battery that perfectly fits go to Sears. If you want a $25 working battery that will fit but might not be the exact size then go to Everett's.
