Great out of town (long distance) purchase. Elliott is great to work with; he's responsive, honest, willing to answer questions/provide details, and does it all with no pressure. I flew in to Boston to see a vehicle ; he met with me (offered to pick me up at the airport) , we reviewed the vehicle (which was just as he had described), made the deal, and before I knew it I was on a plane headed home. Even after the sale, I ran into a small issue at my local DMV, Elliott helped me out again quickly (we had it resolved in 10 minutes) and faxed over the necessary paperwork and I was out the door with tags in hand. Great car buying experience and I would do it again....Thanks Elliott!

Called in to get a quote on a part that I saw listed online. Got Rob and after telling me the part was in stock, he tried to sell me the part for $200 more than they have it listed. When confronted, he started to scream at me that it was a problem with the online lister and the price was what he was telling me. Then after asking to speak with the sales manager, I was put on hold, then sent to a voicemail. Will not ever do business with them again after being treated that way.

Spent $6900 for an engine/transmission combo, and was shipped a good transmission and a running engine, nicely shrink-wrapped on a pallet BUT with damaged camshaft adjusters (repairable but still setting us back eight hours to correct). We didn't find the damage until after the engine was installed and running with a hard exhaust cam sensor code. We called 27 days after the engine arrived and reported the damage to Chuckran only to be told the warranty expired because apparently they count the days we didn't have the engine in our possession as part of the warranty. We suspect this won't hold up well in court. They also couldn't explain why we found RTV on the adjusters at 50k miles. Chuckran refused to help in any way other than offering a starter or alternator, which is insulting. We offered to pay for return shipping on just the transmission and pay $425 to restock it and they didn't even counter offer. It seems it was more convenient for them to just say no and keep the money they already had. If your a repair shop we advise you to pass on Chuckran, the photos say it all.

We purchased our vehicle with Dwayne. He was super helpful and friendly during the entire process. We live in RI, so there is more items that need to get done as opposed to an in-state sale. Dwayne came to our house to have my wife and I sign all necessary paperwork as she was leaving the next day for business. Further, he came back to RI the next day and met me and the DMV to make sure everything went smoothly! Mr. Chuckran give that guy a raise!

Just called about a headlight. I was told to send a picture of the front and back of my credit card with my drivers license. And then he would pull the part and have it for me tomorrow. I called back because I was uncomfortable about sending my information over email and was going to ask if could do deposit over the phone, the man who answered told me that I’ve called five times now and everyone was busy and then hung up on me. (It was only the second time I had called) ... very confused. Extremely unprofessional. And I plan to check up on if your allowed to ask for credit card info to be emailed. Kinda fishy. But these days who knows

the worst service i have ever received!!!! my mom gave me her 99 ford Taurus to junk because her transmission went ,car engine was in great shape ,changed the year before called and was quoted 400 dollars pick up 2 days ,i told them i had to get the papers on it ,called back about 1 wk later ,scheduled app t. for pick up on Thursday the 21 ,2014 they called me back that same day and said there boss would not pay 400 for my car ,there must have been some misunderstanding they would only pay 375 i said i did not want to play nickle and dime games just take it ! well stayed in all day no show called and there was no entry or anything for picking up my car and would call me back ,never happened tried to talk to boss got nobody but the same female who screwed with me on the phone go anywhere else not here!!!!! i work as a state inspector and have dealt with many companies these people are the worst in customer service
