Having a loved one pass suddenly is hard enough, having to clear out her apartment as soon as possible just added to the stress. We did our best but had no way of disposing of a few big items. I called 1-800-Got-Junk & spoke to Elijah, he was wonderful & we scheduled a quote/pickup for that next morning. We met the two gentlemen at our Moms apartment, they were nice, professional, efficient, & respectful of our situation. They were done in a short amount of time & the stress of the clean up with them. 1-800-Got-Junk was also quite reasonable in a time when we so desperately wanted things to go smoothly. I had a 115 lb tube TV that needed to go. 11 years ago, when I got it, my buddy and I were able to get it up to the second floor of my house. Getting it out 11 years later was a different story. I gave 1800GotJUNK a call. The CSR was professional and told me what it would cost. I liked the idea of licensed pros doing the job. It couldn't have been a half hour later (with phone calls in-between to keep me informed) that the two guys, John and Pat, showed up. They were friendly, polite, and one of them picked up that big old TV and just trotted downstairs with it as if it were a shoebox. Done! We settled up and it was all over in minutes, A bit pricey, perhaps, but I strongly feel like I got what I paid for. New TV is in now, too!. Would recommend and use again.

Excellent Service!! Called and was able to get same day pick up. Jim B and Mike D were awesome. I was called at 3pm as indicated with an estimated time of arrival and got another call when they were 20 min away. Arrived when they said would get here. Jim and Mike were super courteous and friendly and loaded up the stuff very fast. Also, Brett on the 800 number who set up the also super friendly and courteous as well. The whole transaction was a great experience (and that's hard to find these days!) Would definitely call them again.

I had a great experience with 1-800- GotJunk This is my second time using them to haul away stuff I need prior to moving. Danny and Jim B. are friendly and punctual. They called several times to let me know they were on their way as well as narrowing the wait time! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was it's expensive as far as pricing but it's worth it for the convenience!

Less than 1 Star... They messed up my appointment over 3 times and then ultimately could not service me on the day I needed it most. Over the weekend I booked an appointment using their online booking and it forced the wrong ZipCode to my Brighton address. It told me it made the booking and in the confirmation I received it said my Brighton address. On the day of someone called to ask me about it but because of work I could not call back until later that afternoon. They told me they were the Framingham franchise and they could not come to Brighton and gave me the Boston phone number. I called and the lady was nice and tried to help me out. She told me that she would squeeze me in the next day (because it was the last day I could get my stuff out). The next day I don't receive a phone call or text or anything and I call them and they tell me they are booked they can't help me. I tell them that someone helped me last night and they tell me they booked it incorrectly. It says it was for a different day. I explained to them that this was the last day I could have the junked removed. The man made a call and told me that someone would be there in ten minutes. (I confirmed my Brighton Address with him.) The driver called me and said when I put this in the GPS it is a Brighton address and I said I know. They said they were in the Framingham area and do not come to Brighton. I told this other person AGAIN about the situation he called someone else again and said I would be all set someone would contact me soon. I waited 20 minutes and then called when I didn't hear anything. The different person I talked to told me they could have someone there at 5pm that day. Then they told me they were having booking issues with the software and that they could not service me. This left me high and dry with barely any other options. I am in customer service in the Tech industry... I understand technical difficulties but MAKE IT RIGHT. You had people available in Framingham less than 30 min from my address. You should have made this right. I found a mom and pop junk removal service that saved my butt and came from FRAMINGHAM at 7:30 at night. Terrible.

Our time window is between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and they showed up at 12:30 p.m. There also was not enough room in the truck to take the entire load so we have to schedule another visit.

Hard emotionally to clean out an old family house. But the 1-800-GOT-JUNK Guys were super nice and professional. Our job is huge and infact is ongoing. They never complained; Worked super hard; were pleasant and kind to my in laws. The dog also thought they were pretty awesome!
