Enjoyable love the seasoned gentlemen who are very kind and friendly but there is always one lol and generally it is the least experienced in life younger crew member who has life figured out that is least compassionate and seems to have those who are bringing items beneath him, prefactored in as why your there.He does little to make it a friendly experience. I like most do all we can to clean up our place of residency and do proper responsible recycling instead of being lazy, and careless to just throw it in the trash service we pay for so we don't have to see the impaction of our wasting.... so my reason i keep going there is the PAYOUT PERIOD. You leave not feeling as robbed for the hours and labor it took to handle and sort but still its a choice and the better good at the end of the day that makes it okay. Lol GOD BLESS US ALL AND MAY WE BE A LIGHT TO OTHERS AS IT SHOULD.

This is my 2nd time visiting WMR in 2019 and I wanted to share my experience. The entire process of unloading your steel, aluminum, etc., getting your ticket and money is very easy. I had no clue my 1st time and employees were very polite and patient with me. In fact, on my 1st visit, one of your employees pointed out my driver's license was about to expire. Thumps up WMR!!

I come here to recycle my aluminum cans. Today was my 3rd or 4th time here. They have always been very nice. However, today, I was blown away. I was wearing my Marine Corps hat. One of the forklift drivers saw that, stopped his forklift, and came over to thank me for my service. He was very busy, but took the time to come over and thank me. That meant the world to me!!

My first time there to drop of some cans other scrap metals. I have to say the place is clean and while organized. The worker are nice and friendly. I had a lot questions since it was my first time there. They are very nice at answering my questions. I also got to change to talk some of the other customers and they said the like the place. I would recommend to anyone who recycles. "Keep the great work, and Keep recycling!"

I have been in the scrap business since 1978. WMR is the best salvage yard that I have ever done business with. James, William and their crew, are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Their facility is clean and top notch. Their prices are the best in town. I just LOVE their days and hours of operation. The scrap metal market has so many types and variations from the original metal and are very confusing these days, but the people at WMR are trained in identifying these variations and strive to give you the best price for what you have. You receive a complete and detailed print out for every transaction so you know exactly what you are paid for your scrap. The amount of customers that use this facility on a daily basis should speak volumes as to their business sense and operation. I HIGHLY recommend WMR and will continue to do business with them . Good Job WMR, and I'll see you real soon!

We've never been to this place before so we called before we went over there to make sure what we were bringing was alright. The man on the phone told us to go ahead and bring it all. So we enter through the green door, and let the lady sitting behind the window know that we had spoke with someone on the phone and that he told us to come in. She was giving us a look like we were stupid, and then with THE biggest attitude she asked "what is it" we told her some old electronics.. then with some more attitude "well you have to go around to the back." So we said okay.. then she said "it has to be 5 lbs" .......Well we were carrying a super heavy old piece of electronic so we said "okay.." then she YELLED "I mean it has to be 5 lbs all together" Seriously? This was the rudest customer service rep I have ever seen! Sorry that this was our first time going there so we didn't know where you were supposed to go?? After that treatment it will probably be my first and last. I've been working customer service for years now and there is NO WAY I would even dare to talk to a customer the way that she did to us! We didn't even do anything to her to for her to treat us that way is what upsets me even more. The guys were real nice and helpful in the back, but by that point I was already upset by the way I was treated at the front of the building. If it were me I would not want that girl being the face of my company. Her name was Samantha by the way. I was sure to ask before I left.

Don't fall for it As of writing this their tin price they pay is $80/ton... same day Yaffee/Glickman $95 PER TON!!! Plus you don't have to sit in your car waiting in the heat, you drive right in. Use the glickman entrance off 29th for tin&steel, the 25th entrance is for copper & aluminum which I am sure is also more and I HAVE HAD my copper undervalued MANY TIMES by Wichita Material Recovery. Also, Wichita Material Recovery recycles their metal at Midwest Scrap Mgt on 45th in Park City, you might try them.

it was a very cold , rainy day , i had torn the sleeve almost off of my coat , when i went into the office , James the owner , looked @ me and said Mr.Straight , what size are you ? i looked @ him kinda funny , and said a medium , why..? he says hang on a second and gets up and goes to the back , he returns and says here , and hands me a new W.M.R coat , i ask whats this for , he replies , we like to see our customers to look nice ... i was floored by his act of kindness and will never forget it ..and to top it all off i received great service....Thank you James and W.M.R....

Today was my first trip to a recycling place. The employees were friendly and helped unload the truck. I figure I won both ways because had I taken that to the dump the dump fee would have been very close to what they paid me. Next time I need to get rid of metal I know where to go right away. Why suddenly two seperate prices for metal? I have made two trips there in the last week and was treated well both times. I was considering another trip today but decided against it when I saw the two different rates based on whether I bring a ton or less than a ton. I only have a half ton truck so will never bring a ton all at once. The way I read your new rate difference is we want the big fish. If you only have a half ton go somewhere else and don't bother us.
