I do a lot of demo and have been to dozens of scrap yards across Kansas and Missouri. Kc Iron usually has the best prices and I have never been cheated here. Other places will lie directly to you about the quality or quantity of the metal you bring, but not here. I always try to bring scrap here if at all possible.

Well I don't know who is doing the reviews for this place but what a terrible experience nothing like the reviews at all. Prices are way below what they should be. The employees were not friendly at all acted like I was a nuisance being there... So I will be taking my business where friendly people work and they won't screw you on price!! I would give zero stars but I had to give it one but totally not even worth that!!

I brought in a truck load of aluminum cans. They didn't hassle me or try to screw me out of weight of aluminum like the place in Lawrence, KS used to do every time I went there. The employees in the yard were very nice and easy to get along with. They have my business for life now. I used to dread taking my cans in, so I stopped for a year or more, now I know it was just terrible service and employees at the place I used to go. I would recommend this place to my family and friends any day of the week. Great establishment!!!! Thank you

Quality place!! Easy to find, but parking can kind of be a pain as you might end up out in the street. Although you might end up parked curb-side, they grab the skid steer and a bucket if needed to come unload you. Staff was professional, helpful and fast. Explained the process, what I can do next time to help things move along faster and even helped me separate my junk pile because I showed up un-organized. Good solid place to do business.

I can only say that when going to a recycling center, the preferable one to go to is KC Iron & Metal. Sandy(owner) has always been very kind to me and insists on beating all his competition by upping his pricing. I consistently check and verify regularly. His yard workers are always nice and polite too! Easy to work with. He's helped my profit on plenty of occasions.
