Fraudulent company. Here's my experience with Junk King: I made an appointment for an estimate online. They called me some 5h before the scheduled time. Confirmed they would be at my house between 11am-1pm. Never showed up. I called at 1:05pm and asked if they were still coming. Representative said he was going to check and then call me back. I never received a call back. Nobody ever showed up. About a week later, I received an email with an electronic receipt as if they had come and serviced me and I had paid $169 cash. That never happened. That receipt is a fraud. Someone called me later that day to ask whether the service had been provided or not (I couldn't pick up the call, this is from the voicemail message). What kind of business practice is that?

We had another company estimate our hauling service, and the quote they provided was crazy expensive -- without taking measurements. Junk King's reps came out, measured everything, and gave me a more than reasonable estimate. There was no up-selling moving services or pressure. The actual hauling crew that arrived to remove our items was friendly, professional, and fantastic to deal with. It was probably close to 100 degrees (Kansas summers: yay,) and they were indefatigable, getting the job done neatly and efficiently.

They called to say they would arrive at the appointed time and was here at the right time. They loaded the plywood in their truck and the bill was the $138.00 as the estimate had stated.
