Excellent prices newer cars clean place
Love it! Reasonable prices and people! Many, many vehicles, there are dolly's, lifts, and other services available
Love coming here for parts. Usually the cheapest around town. And best part is you get to choose your own part someone else don't get to find the crappiest one and give it to you. Love everything about it.
Bring your own tools
I find if you want to find the part your looking for you need to get to the car within 1-2 days of its arrival. After that it gets to be a chance that you will find the part you want/need. It's nice that they will give you a list of cars and aisles that they are located. If you get anything from the premium lot remember it's an additional 30% on the overall price. Also remember that your parts are coming from the more luxurious cars so the price should be up. I recommend this place to anyone that are needing parts that you don't have the money for brand new. If you need parts after it rains make sure you bring extra clothes to change into in case you get under a car with a puddle of water.
Thanks for the waived entrance fee and discount on parts for showing my military ID. The email notification service works well for knowing when a particular car is brought in. I was in the next day and got the part I needed and saved lots of money over ordering a new part.
This place has whatever you are looking for......
Great place to get used parts. Very cheap!
Fair prices and good staff
Dia is amazing. Couldn't find what we needed, even if we drove for over an hour to find it, even if another employee said we were golden over the phone.
Great place to find ur partz
Awsome place to pay kess for your car oarts
Service is usually good. Inventory always changes. The ground tho could use a good paving tho. Do not visit at a good rain, a lot of the grounds floods.
Can find just about anything you need at very reasonable prices. Bought a driveshaft that repaired my 4x4 truck fot $50 that would have cost $998 new.
Easy peasy. Don't like the entry fee, but it is what it is..
Prices on some of the electronic items are a bit high, mechanical parts are reasonable. They let military veterans in for free and the VIP program is worth signing up for the receipt tracking alone.
Went in for a brake rotor and caliper got exactly what i was looking for. If you are a Veteran you get in the yard for free and you also get a discount on parts
Nice place
The prices on their website and in store do not match. I wanted to buy a pair of tire with rims (they were regular 98 Buick lesabre tires and rims, nothing fancy); they asked $120ish for the pair since they count the rims as core ($35ish a piece) when I return them the "core" they refund $10 a piece. that is ridiculously stupid.
Definitely one of the cleanest salvage yards you can go to. I would also say one of the safest as well. Online inventory is an awesome feature, it's not always 100% accurate but you have to realize how many vehicles they have and they are always coming in and going out so it's not going to be perfect but it's close and something you don't get at other salvage yards. Awesome prices too, in an hours time I pulled 3 parts for my car for just over $11 if I had ordered the same new parts online it was going to be close to $75 This place is always worth checking out before ordering new parts.
Fun place to go and grab salvage parts. It is much more organized then it used to be. There is a huge area that floods in the dodge trucks area so bring some rubber boots if its rained lately.
The only issue I have with this place is it was pouring down rain today and the lot where the cars are were flooded... some spots up to my calves... but besides that it is a great place with mostly great people....
They have free bottle water that's a plus on hot days lol
Much better place than the Pull A Part place down town. Better organizational, cleaner and nice people.
The hottest day there was no complimentary lemonade stand what the well you know the rest
Bring your tools that you need to remove the auto part you desire
Cashier ladies need to learn better customer experience
I don't like the fact that they'll let you in with 5 minutes left and make you pay but sure enough won't let you stay any extra time to let you get your part... I understand if you need it now or something like that but if somebody goes in there expecting something they should walk out with it whether the employees come out and help him knock it out real quick or not if they're going to let you in I was let in with 15 minutes to get a control arm and I had one bowl left to take off and they would not let me get it so I spent money to go in and left with nothing now I got to go spend money again tomorrow to get it if somebody doesn't beat me to the bolt
Great prices. Great people. Great atmosphere.
The people were very nice and helpful
Nice cars!
Been there a couple times. Sometimes they have the part. Sometimes you dont find it.
Great staff and selection of cars and parts to pick from love everything about this place and would go no where else for cheap great parts and friendly helpful staff recommend to everyone!!
Well organised place with friendly members of staff.
Good place to save money on used auto parts.
It would be nice if you can get to the parts you need without swimming underneath the vehicles
Not really a huge yard but they have a good selection and are decent priced. They are the biggest one on the west side thus far. Convenient if you're a resident of the West side.
Great for getting a quick fix part, until you can afford the new one.
Good selection of cars. Check consistently if looking for a specific model not found. Good value. My first go to place for car parts.
Faster than waiting on other yards to pull the part you need
I was desperate for parts n the staff at u pull we,re very helpful n I had a good time there. I got my parts that I long searched for n it was easy pickings. Thanks 5stars. To their staff. The ladies up front Know thier jobs. Very efficient.
It's a junk yard. Take tools. I recommend boots.
Great place with great prices. Couldn't find everything I wanted but tomarrow is another day.
Great place to save money
It's easier to get around and get to the vehicles to get the part you need
Its changed for the better since it was Pull-A-Part but it's still it's got nothing on the yard that's on the east side that's called Pick-A-Part. Although locating a car nowadays at this yard is a hell of a lot easier.
Great low prices compared to some other yards.
Many times I checked or called to ask about certain car and they said they got it or got 6 cars of it ..the fee 2$ is what they want ..never found what they told it is available
This happens to be one of the best parts yards you can go to I didn't find anyone there that was rude or didn't want to help you they all were so kind I got some really good service there and they were all so eager to help me get to the parts that I needed......
Lots to choose from, fine it and get it at a good price
if you have the patience they have the parts...somewhere out there on the yard
Easy access good prices
Would not personally recommend this salvage yard. I had finished getting my large and many parts at time of closing and they refused to sell anything to me. They didn’t show any care or were willing to help. There are more considerate part places in Indy!
Really an awesome place I got a really good price for my vehicle that if I would have went to Pull-A-Part I would have got less than half
It was great
How do you not have parts for 2000 Olds Delta 88? I mean, damn, a Buick LeSabre maybe? Lots of parts are interchangeable guys! Guess they don't pay these guys to do much thinking on there own, huh!?!
It was okay just a little wet
Very friendly people usually get in and out pretty quick. Great 30 day return policy for in-store credit or swap for another part. Fair prices I'd say, and there's wider range of vehicles than some of the bigger lots around Indy. My favorite junkyard so far.
All concrete yard , well organized. All cars are on old rims easy to get parts off.
Always better to get mechanics prices in do it yourself
The staff was friendly and took the time to show me exactly where I needed to go
Good place to go for used parts but prices change
Cleanest junk yard you will find!
Lov going to this place , you never know what you'll find
Going in to the actual place is fine, but I have tried calling several times for several different things over the past month, and NOT ONCE did anyone answer the phone.
Excellent place to fix up your car for cheap, if you know what you are doing. I found it quite easy and affordable to get a factory complete cold air intake system for a pontiac g6.
Good junk yard, fair prices on the parts they sell.
Great place to get used auto parts for the savy weekend mechanic. Make sure you bring all the tools with you to take the parts off.
Sometimes have my part, sometimes dont but always fun.
They were friendly and helpful.
They have good prices on there parts and it's clean and the cars are lined up by the make
This little nugget of gold. Is great if you want to get parts direct from wrecked vehicles. Honors the veteran free admission. The areas noted to get parts are easy to find the vehicles. Great staff. Great service!!!
My personal opinion I've always found what I needed. Cars are rise up by rims.
Prices on big stuff like Engines & Transmissions is not bad at all prices on anything else or completely horrible went in got for interior trim pieces $28 I could have got them from the dealership for 35 why in the hell would I pay 28 for them Pull-A-Part on 16th Street same pieces for a dollar 99 a piece they just didn't have the color that I needed unfortunately not going to say I'm going to stop coming here because it's close to home but realistically I'm going to go to Pull-A-Part first. In response to the comment from the owner; yes I agree that it was significantly higher than I expected especially since I looked them up prior to coming. I don't know how they came up with the price since all 4 pieces were under the smallest section of trim. I had figured + or - $14. But 28 was ridiculous, and thus isn't the first time where the prices have differed significantly from what I was asked to pay and what it dated on the price list. I don't know if that's because the ring it up wrong or the prices have changed, but It is different even with core charges figured and environmental fees. It's still off. Most of the time it's on a mechanical part that is still cheaper elsewhere but when it's not, I could order it online for the same price if not cheaper.
Pretty much always have what I need. Very wide selection with knowledgeable staff.
Very helpful thanks
Got what I needed and the staff was nice
Great place to get parts as long as you don't mind pulling them yourself. Very inexpensive compared to other yards
Good place for used parts and do let you exchange the part if the one that you got does not work
Dress for the weather! Easy, in & out.
Needs to update there stock and fix the giant lake in the Dodge area
Nice people cheap parts somewhat organized
Great environment;great chance you'll find whats needed
Very friendly and helpful advice Very friendly and helpful advice
U need it they've probably got it and at very reasonable prices.
If they got it you can get it
Picked clean for good oh Chevy 1500 series
Almost everytime I've been here they have always had what I've needed. 2000 GMC Sierra && 1997 jeep wrangler :) plus they have great employees a few that are always as nice as can be!!
Cold but had what i needed. Staff was super friendly as always. Will be back for any other items i need. Just need them to get in a 05+ f250 4x4 for the front suspension and axle.
Arrived with only 50 minutes until close and staff was very polite. Unable to get the part I needed off the vehicle but that is my own fault. Will still come back to this location. Only issue was the high water settling in between aisles. Made it difficult to access some vehicles. Don't go after a heavy rain.
It was a great place and friendly and fast
You can sell old cars to them!
Have to say they have it together! They give you a print out of the cars that match make them easy to find in a clean yard with good fast service
It is very unprofessional that such an unpleasant person damages the tires that he will not need which the person who buys the wheel will need and since they are damaged now he will have to buy some new ones Because he came to someone and punctured the tires that he is not going to occupy and that I could easily throw out the trash when someone else really needs it. I have seen workers from there do this kind of stuff.
Great selection of used cars found exactly what I was looking for and the staff was awesome
Love it.
Got in got what i needed and everything went smoothly
The staff person at the counter was very friendly. I wish they would inventory vehicles by color also. This would be helpful when looking for vehicle body parts.
Awesome place!!
Cheap good parts! I always find what I need here!!
When they have what you need they will do everything in their power to help you get what you need
Always a great time at U pull and pay
only had one vehicle that had what i needed, but that's all it takes, just saying usually have three or four still a good deal as usual
1-Star is based entirely on Scrapping process. I'm sure they're sales department is adequate. Gave them all my info : Offered me $350 for my truck from 8-9am the next day. Didn't show - Called them myself at 9:15...They rescheduled for 10-11am. Didn't show - Called them myself at 10:15...They tried to reschedule for 1-3pm. I told them no. Week later I still need to scrap my truck so I called them back, gave them all my info : they offered me $240. Clearly they have documented the situation and are trying to get me to pay for their mistake. Highly unethical.
Very friendly people who are reasonable on prices! They knew I only needed a certain part, although it was connected to another part so they only charged me for the part I needed. I went on Black Friday weekend so entry was free and all parts were 25% off. The carts were free of charge too, which were very helpful. The only thing I would recommend improvement on would be the ability to find specific cars. The row numbers were hard to see and some rows weren't labeled. Other than that, great experience!
Decent hours and availability of parts to choose from. Friendly staff and atmosphere.
Awesome crew working here.. I was going to be ablout 20 min late and because I called there was no extra call..
Keeps getting more expensive as the name changes, but still I a nice yard and usually fing what I want.
Great deals, carts and friendly service. Saved money and found parts easy.
Got in fast, got what I needed and was out within 15 mins.
You go and pull the part you need from whatever make and model of car. If you didn't know, you can also buy car batteries from here cheap.
I've been coming here for 5 years and it has never let me down on parts and prices. They even told me about my military discount. Everyone is a great help too.
It was an awesome experience. I'm going back for parts this weekend. Very affordable
First time using them not too bad of an experience
Great place
I absolutely love this place, can't beat OEM parts for cheap
Sometimes u find it sometimes its already gone.
I love salvage yards anyway even if they don't have what u want eventually they will get it in and besides there's like 20 other salvage yards around Indy I have seen reports of rude people working at all of them so that's no shortage where ever u go it's not right by any reason but we are all in titled to a bad day
Yard is laid out well easy to find what your searching for items
Always fast and easy. Best part is the website. You can search a part up and see if they have if before leaving my home. Cars are exactly where described.
Great place for inexpensive parts
Nice cement lot (no walking around through weeds and mud to find a part!) and all of the vehicles are grouped in a way that makes it super easy to find what you are looking for. The girl at the counter even gave me a printout of all the possible vehicles that would have the part I need and which aisles they could be found in. Will def be back.
Not a bad junkyard to go to.
This place is actually organized, easy to locate what you are looking for. Plus I even like the kiosks in the front that allow you to locate the part year and type of vehicle. The scrapped cars here and perfectly organized side by side so that you can quickly find the vehicle, pull the part and be on your way. Sometimes if you dont have tools, the regular part puller may even pull the part off for you, sometimes for small fee. 4.5 stars for me
Good parts spot, well maintained, nice and helpful staff. Open daily same hours. But today could not find my part. Gotta wait for some inventory replen ... in meantime buyin retail.
Always my go to junk yard. Police get in free.
Always changing always find good parts
Good parts. Good prices. Well organized. Clean lot.
Amazing experience. Learned more about a vehicle in 3 hours than in my 40+years
They pay me for my cars in sell them at least
We love that fact the part you need is in the yard , but you must search and find. In the meantime you fund something else no need and the bill goes up and up. That's not a bad thing because you get what you pay for and more. Picked up a mirror for my father n law and it made his day.
Prices keep going up, got charged over $20 for a small aluminum bracket. Would have been cheaper to buy it online from eBay, and less headache. They have the rudest employees with the nastiest attitudes. I can't stand having to go there for parts. I've been going for over 10 years and it just keeps getting worse. Be prepared to deal with jerks when you go!
Power outside door mirrors are a little high but all in all I will be returning when needed
I never knew that getting used auto parts could be fun. My daughter enjoyed it too.
Good experience
Advertised closing time is 6pm, 7 days a week. Signage at the location says the same. Drove 30 minutes to arrive at 4:40pm only to find out they weren't allowing anyone in because they'd decided to close and go home early. All told there were about a dozen people in the parking lot who drove there only to be turned away. The way they run this yard leaves a lot to be desired. This place stays around because they have a captive audience with little to no other options. If they happen to have the year and model of car you need, it's quite likely no other place does. If they provided a product that could be obtained from several competitors, they wouldn't last a week unless they completely overhauled the way they run their business.
They have tons of cars that you have to walk aroundand find what you're looking for. Also they canprint you out a list of where the car with make and model and what row they are in. Not exactly cheap, but definitely cheaper than buying new parts. Only thing is if you call and ask fora part, staff won't actually be sure if they have it. You have to come in pay the $2 cover charge them you can walk around to locate what you're looking for. But the place is a good place to go and get used parts. I've used it for years and I'll continue to use it again in the future.
Warning !! Updated environmental fees somewhere around 8% now !!!! Be careful !!! .. .. .. Newest best deals in town .. .. .. on the downside they don't know how to put drains in their parking lot, in other words bring waders if it's been raining ( no joke , )
Good time, but could change the set up outside.
I couldn't get the item I want
Your Its fun to pull your own part and watch others do the same.
Organized and for a junkyard very clean! The staff is very friendly and helpful! This is where I will go from now on to get the parts I need!
I love this place. Always a great selection and the employees are wonderful to do business with. Thx
Everything u need..but make sure u got the tools u need..lol!!! Bought some stuff for my baby( cadi ) great staff n very helpful
Excellent place, well organized, good people.
Nice and clean enviroment..friendly and courteous staff theres one lady in particular that works there omg shes gorgeous
They provide a good option for used auto parts
Didnt have not one vehicle like mine
Purchased a used battery for my pickup truck. I used to try to keep Batteries on both my vehicles and the one on the Truck would go bad every year, because it is never driven. So spending $100 or more for a New one seemed pointless.I purchased a used Battery from UP&Pand it was about $40... It has a 30 day warranty and looking at the sticker on the Battery I see it was stocked in the store on 1/18...originally not @UP&P So it is 1yr old..It is a 5yr Battery and was tested by a worker there and had over 800CA....Which is as good as any New Battery would be. All for less than half the price... I did have to drive a few miles, however it was worth $60...Since the Battery will most likely fail this Winter..... They have about anything auto related.....
Great service ,best prices and always have what we need..
Really Great deals for car parts just bring tools
Whatever you do don't follow GPS it will not take you there ...It's on 16th just be on the UPS building and behind Fastenal but well worth going to cleanest part yard I've ever seen in my life .. Selection of cars is excellent people are very nice there as well you must check it out if you need parts for an older vehicle also .. It will cost you $2.00 to get in to the yard..
Great place for auto parts
If you need to go somewhere to get parts then this is the place to go they have Parts really cheap and all the floors are concreted so theres not many water holes liek it used to be
Great, upfront pricing (you can see a list on the website). Well organized with row location of the make/model you are looking for (again online, but I believe they can print a list for you as well). Although it is the luck of the draw on whether they have the parts you need, I have always had very good luck finding the parts for which I came.
My favorite junkyard. I save big money every time I go, and the inventory is online, so I know when they have a good donor.
A must go....so much cheaper for the do it yourselfer
Go in and pick up your parts they get even check in what you want and come out pay to no problems
