Went to this LKQ for the first time. I must say they charge $3 to get in. Toledo is $2. The yard is a complete disaster. After you pay and go through the doors, There are parts every where on the group. Engine blocks, and just about every part you can think of. The rows are not even and in some cases when you get to the end of the truck row you cant even move over to another row with out back tracking. The other thing I noticed is that they do not update the website here. A lot of the trucks they have on the website are already scrapped. I did however find a few parts I needed

They are cheaper than other salvage yards. But they make up for it by charging an admisson fee, environmental fee, and a core charge on every single part.

Decent inventory and helpful staff. Make sure you scout out your parts before you drag your tools in. All vehicles are on stands and wagons are available in the yard for heavier parts. Tires are also available but you need to know how to break down tires and rims yourself, there is no help available for that.

Best option in town. Worse part is that there are HORDES of illegal aliens entering in groups that strip cars of their most valued parts for their bosses around town including all the tires. They have raised the cost of entry and of all parts. Plus there is a pretty large 'enviromental fee' tacked onto your bill for each part. Other than that it's a clean yard and cars are spaced well. The help is either great or rude. Depends who you get.

Helpful in telling you what cars they have, but when attempting to check in or cash out I often have to wait quite a while do to under staffing and/or one particular individual that will intentionally avoid looking at you in order to keep from having to cash you out. I've been there on multiple occasions and never had any problems with the establishment other than this one guy, all the rest have always been helpful and quick to help.

$3 entrance ! They do have a variety though you have to do the work on retrieving the pieces. You have to bring mostly your own tools! Most things have quarter pieces and charges, While others don't. They don't label all the parts in the vehicles to where you can go and mix and match to even similar model or model year vehicles.

Definitely a lot better place than the alternatives in Allen County. Most of the vehicles are quite old, however. Not unusual to see 20-25 year old cars. Would be nice if some later models were available. The drainage in the Ford section SUCKS. Not sure what's so hard about having a dry yard that is accessible. Half the time the Ford section is under more than a foot of water and is useless.

For my first time going I was very pleased with how I was Treated with respect being a female going in by myself normally you get talked to like you dont know a thing but they pointed me towards the truck I needed parts off of and let me do my thing without a bother and got everything I came for as far as them working I havent made it home to see but it is junk yard yard cars ya get what ya get but they do have a 30 day warranty I was very pleased.

Called to get a quote on scraping my car, the price was decent and they said they’d come get our car which was completely dead and not drivable whatsoever. They knew where I lived, not in Ft Wayne, they said someone would come get it, but when I went to schedule a pick up time, they told me I had to bring it to them or it wasn’t worth their time or the money they would be paying me for it. Don’t obtain personal info (phone number, address, name) from someone and then say you’ll come get a vehicle after offering them money for their car, then back out because you don’t want to, it’s just bad business.

I've always liked this place, but my last visit the guy at the counter chose to change the name of the part I was getting, which was a wheel bearing hub assembly, to a "brake hub" and charged me double. I asked him to show me where brakes had anything to do with it, his reply was, "I've worked here for 4 years and that's what I call it and that's what I charge for it." I told him that he was calling it wrong and charging people for 4 years incorrectly. Asked if the manager was there and he wouldn't call for him. Unfortunately, this is the only LKQ in my area and the place is a good place to get parts and the prices are very good, I will be going back when the need arises, but the management should really look into training their employees in correct parts identification and have them go through some type of customer relations support.

The husky, bigger fellow with dark hair is a rude, sarcastic jerk. Not helpful in the slightest bit. They are supposed to notify you when you sign up for alerts for certain vehicles. It does not work. And they won't call you if you ask them to personally notify you.

Very upset that this company has decided not to honor the gift cards that they hand out. All they say is that they changed owners that way they can get out of the bad business they are in. Very sad! All I can say is the best advertisement is by word of mouth. There will be nothing good come out of my mouth about this place. If you choose not to give refunds you need to just tell people that don't give them a gift card and when they try to use it tell them you are no longer accepting them because you changed owner. That is poor business and you will no longer get business from me or anyone I know. The last time I was out there we were looking for tires. They have NO usable tires in the lot but will take your money and tell you to go look. Knowing damn well they have nothing. This happened before there "big" weekend sale. This is a joke!

Had the vehicle that their website said they would. Make sure you bring the cores for what you're buying. I forgot about them and drove in from 2+ hours away. I'll see if I can just return the cores to the closer lkq.

I go to this yard all the time. Yard admission is $3, and they let you take in all the tools you need other than torches and jacks. They have carts, cranes, and wheelbarrows on site. They also have manual tire machines so you can break the bead and remove the tire. Sundays are $9.99 tire days. The staff is fairly pleasant. I've gotten a lot of good deals down there. You can find some high dollar treasures if you know what you're looking for. I've pulled 2 engines there. The first one runs great. The second I bought just to part out. Take battery-powered impact tools if you really want to get parts off quick. If you like to wrench, this is the place for you. If you can't change a light bulb, stay out of the yard. That's no place for frilly foo-foos like you.
