Bought a transmission from this company...They sent the wrong one and apologized and said they would refund my money 3 times...never did and had to dispute it on my card....DON'T BUY FROM THEM! I read your reply and no...I talked to the lady that is charge of parts 3 times and she has still done nothing to help at all. It has nothing to do with anything else other than unethical practices!

I had a 98 Cavalier & a time table in which it needed to be gone. I had called quite a few other cash for cars places only to be given the run-a-round. So much so, that was even a bit rude when I called Ace Midtown. They were nice , professional, & fit me into their already packed day! Very, very, very rude!!! Customer service and professionalism is horrific! I understand at times customers can be very rude and obnoxious but as a professional company employees should learn how to handle situations as such. Using racial slurs is highly unacceptable and that's exactly what was used in the "conversation", if that's what you call it, that I had, bringing up "black lives" "white lives". What does that have to do with the car and MY phone call? As many times as I was trying to tell him that the "N" (n***a) is unacceptable he kept saying it and degrading me about my education. I will not recommend anyone to this place of business. And all I was trying to do sell my car and the guy said "it's a piece of s**t". Well, as far as your advertisement indicates, you buy "junk" cars.

One of the most rude people I have ever spoke with on the phone. First he answers the phone like he is at home. Then he says what do you have for sale, I say I don't have anything for sale I'm looking for parts. Do you do that, Sell parts? He goes not to you with your attitude. I said what attitude? I told him I've been on the phone all day looking for parts. I won't sell you any parts. What a jerk! I had absolutely zero attitude until after he said he wouldn't sell to me, then I copped and attitude and told him exactly what he was! AH! Too bad for them. Must be nice to be doing so well as to chase customers away! They just lost a lot of business.

At first everything was going smooth, they were polite on the phone, we setup a time for 10am the next day to come buy my Lexus..quoted me for $285.00 and they said they'll call me at 9am to let me know they're on their way, good to go!!! Well, 9am comes...no call..not a big deal..whatever. 10am comes, still no call..so I call them..just to follow up. A gentleman answers, I asked if I was still on their schedule to come get my car today? He apologized and said he'll call me right back....and he did. He apologized again and told me that his driver was having some issues with his truck...it will be a couple more hours. I said...I understand...things happen..I'll be expecting him around 12/12:30pm...cool. Here we are again 12pm....12:30...1pm...I call again...a gentleman answers...I asked what's going on? He said the driver is in route...should be there in a few minutes. I apologized and said...I'm not meaning to keep calling...but I have a very tight schedule today do to the fact I'm moving. He apologized back and said the driver will be there shortly and we'll get you taken care of. WELL...2pm nothing...around 2:15pm the driver pulls up. He looks at the car asked a few questions about it....and was hellbent on the catalytic converter...is it on there?..is it the original? I replied yes & yes. Hes gets a floor jack and jacks my car up to take a look...and says...it's there but I cant tell if it's the original! I replied...I'm the second owner of the vehicle....it belonged to an older gentleman before me...I bought the car with 98k on the odometer everything on it is original except for the alternator, radiator, hoses, tires, brakes, water pump, timing belt, plugs and wires, and stereo...other than the damage done to the front driver side, it has a slow transmission fluid leak and it's dirty as hell from sitting...the car is sound!!!! He turns to me and says...I'll give you $100 for it! I said...you're joking right? You show up over 4 hours late then try to lowball me down to almost 1/3 of the original quote!!! He said....well what are you looking to get? I replied...well I was quoted at $285...I'll take $250? He replied...Oh..so you're going by an over the phone quote!!!...I can't give you no more than $100-$150!!! I couldn't believe this guy. I responded with....we're done here..have a good one!!! His response was...it's no sweat off my back!!! At that point I told him to get off of my property!!! Moral of the story is.....if he would've got here on time..at least close to it and he didn't try to screw me over...I probably would've settled for $200!!!! I don't care what business you're in, you don't treat your customers this way!!!! Especially when the customer is going out of his way to do business with you!!!!!!! So for the record..... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!!!

I was looking to junk my '96 Chevy cavalier, so I called several different places for a quote. Ace Midtown had the fastest response time and I feel like they gave me more than what I was looking for price wise. When the tow truck driver showed up (on time!) he was very polite and friendly, as the person on the phone was as well, not quite sure if it was the same person, my overall experience with this company was phenomenal. Everything was also done in a timely, professional manner.

Had a great experience with these guys. Everything they said was spot on. Their guy showed up on time, and paid me a great price for our car. It all started when I broke down on 465 going to work. The tow truck driver showed up and actually gave me a ride to work which was very nice of them. It ended with cash in my hand. Very satisfied with the outcome of this. I am disappointed I blew the engine in our Mazda but still happy I didn’t have to pay for a tow and didn’t lose my job. Thank you Anthony !
