I had to get rid of some laundry machines, and I was looking for somewhere to take them quick and efficiently. I called Aurora Metal Recycling and they told me to bring them in and grab an employee to help unload them. When I got there, the employees were so friendly! They even unloaded the machines for me, very hassle free!! I couldn't recommend going here enough!

Wanting to scrap my old car, I called a few recycling places that Gave me the run around until I called Amr. Their friendly staff were amazing and came and picked the car up. Couple days later I decided to take in some scrap metal I had in my basement and garage. I pulled into the yard and was quickly greeted and instructed were to go. Their friendly staff Unloaded my truck , gave me my receipt to receive my cash at their ATM and off I was with a pocket full of money. What a great experience. Highly recommend Amr recycling.

Rang my insulated copper wire and pure aluminum up with the little bit of cans I had and gave me cans price (.40c/lb) for the 77 pounds worth. Complete rip off and gave me no time to check receipt- he took it over to the atm before I got a chance to look.

This place is a total joke, tried lying about my weight and cheating me out of 2100 lbs of scrap, 2100 lbs people. Don't waste your time, these people are trying to pull a fast one. I know hundreds of scrapers and will be sure to warn them of this phony yard. There scales are totally off. This joint should be shut down for good, never again AMR.

I never give reviews but I have to do it because I need to give props where it is deserved. I have to give a good review because Aurora has provided great service to my workers when they buy and sell; however, unfortunately lately I feel they have been less organized and consistent on Saturdays without their best worker Carlos. He really knows his products and runs that company. I will continue to send my guys as long as he is there, even if it's ONLY Mondays-Fridays. Give that man a raise, Aurora Metal Recycling would be lost without him!!!

I been brought my scrap here since they opened. I recently moved and I wish I could find a place like this where I'm at now. In all my interactions with this place I never felt like I was getting shorted on the weight, which as I'm sure you know, can't be said for all yards. If you're in the Aurora area, it doesn't make sense to go anywhere else with your scrap!
