These guys were awesome! I had to empty my mom's apartment and didn't have the time or help to do it - they removed all the big furniture quickly and efficiently. Then they came to my apartment and moved the heaviest television set in existence down two flights of steep stairs. They didn't complain once - they joked the whole time! I contacted junk king on sunday june 30. Within a few hours they contacted me . We set up an appointment for monday July 1st. We had a lot of debris from a pool deck in our backyard. Junk king provided a free estimate which was very reasonable and within an hour removed the debris. Friendly professional reasonable. I will use them again. In fact we have another job that we need done in a few months and we willuse them. I cant recommend junk king enough.

The junk hauling business is full of deceptive business practices, abusive and abrasive customer service, and a general unwillingness to work with their customers as actual human beings. These guys at Junk King are not scumbags like the rest of the industry. Such a breath of fresh air. The "Bait and Switch" sales tactic that dominates the hauling industry where you're quoted one VERY low price over the phone only to be told it will cost 5x+ that when someone arrives to give you your "Free Quote" is horribly deceptive and anti-consumer. Junk King doesn't do that. I was told a price and that price stayed relatively the same once they showed up and hauled everything away. Really great customer service, which is literally unheard of in the junk hauling industry. I dealt with three other companies in the days leading up to going with Junk King and I couldnt have felt more abused and deceived by all of them. It was an amazing breath of fresh air dealing with these guys. Having courteous human beings working for, and operating your business with a consumer-centric mindset goes a long way.

Everything was explained in detail and pricing was as expected for one and half truck loads of furniture and personal items. I was not able to be on site for the junk removal, but the truck employees were very accommodating (updating progress, clarifying about some personal items, and sending me photos). I recently used Junk King for the removal of a refrigerator in my basement. It was a little bit of a challenge to get it through tight places and then quite heavy to remove out of the basement through a bulkhead to the outside. Yet they made the removal look easy and never once doubted it could be done. They also stuck to the original price given to me. In addition, both guys were extremely pleasant to deal with. I was moving and waited too long to bring my couch to the dump. Our towns dump is only open a couple Saturdays a month. It would have only cost about 50-60$ if I went that route. Also I would have needed help loading it onto a pickup truck and unloading it. It cost me with this service 158 plus tax. The staff was very polite and I was able to make an appointment on a convenient day for me. They arrived early and only took about 10 min to load it onto their truck. Was it worth the extra 100? Not really, but I didn't have a choice and the service was good. I would recommend this if you need trash removal.

I was very pleased with my experience with Junk King. Their on-line estimate seemed in-line with other estimates I received but by scheduling on-line, which was very easy, I saved $30. They called 15 minutes before they arrived and they arrived right in the middle of the time slot I selected. The 2 guys were very personable and neatly dressed and quickly cleaned out my garage and even swept it out and helped me load a heavy mattress onto my car. They are so professional and their services were much appreciated during this difficult time.
