This is the best place to go to for the best price for recycling. The staff are nice and helpful if they can assist they will. I like that if I don't have a coupon the website has it and I can show them on my phone

08-21-16 ~14:30 hrs I left my place near downtown Long Beach to drive ~10 min. to get there on a Sunday afternoon. I'd arranged for 2 friends to meet me there soon after to help me expedite my truck load (w/ 2-300lbs CRV + 200+lbs metals) a few min behind in car. I got there well before 3pm (~2:45) There were 2 vehicles parked in front of office. Front & side gates were closed. Spoke to spoke to an employee thru the fence. Said checked website(called also) op hrs til 3:30 closing posted I'd big load & I'd my own help (now only 100 yds away at RR X) He politely explained that they now had to close & clean up by 3pm They'd open Mon 7:30. & helpfully suggested a local competitor just down the street open til 5pm (17:00). { Very good attitude) Albeit A.R. lost out big time today & Sun (Sat?) after 2pm hereafter...I'd still return at other times as they have better attitude & are more honest. I'd more highly recommend this outfit if they'd just match the prices posted by the local competition ( 1-2% low al can, etc) & keep their posted closing times .

Quick and easy. Decent payback. The employees do their jobs. My only complain is that it's in the middle of nowhere, but it's not a problem. Expect long lines on the weekends, too.

Workers are top notch friendly and willing to help. They pay better then any recycling place ive ever been too and ive been to alot of them. Their open later then any recycling center and if you dont know if you can make ut before closing. With a quick call and if your not too far away..they will hold the gates open for you !!! They really are THE BEST EVER..!!! Did i mention they accept coupons and have their own with each visit ..just ask

very rude and a lot of unnecessary personal information is needed to sell a couple of bottles and cans. do not waste time here i strongly suggest you drive down a bit farther and go to wilmington recycling where they pay more anyway.

Best place to go for recycling needs. If you access their website there's coupons that you can use to up the price by a few change. You park and grab their large bins to sort out the types of materials you have, i.e. cans to one and plastic to another. Take it to get it weigh by one of the guy and he gives you a ticket to redeem at the cashier window. That's where you show your coupons to. Cashier prints you a ticket that shows the total amount you made then sign off on it and gives you cash. I had a large SUV full of cans and plastic and was out of there in 30 mins or less. Given I had mine already sorted out at home since I keep them separate in trash bags. If you have to sort yours out then it would take longer.

Total rip-off! I brought in plastic bottles and a flat screen TV to recycle. I was told that it would take a month before someone called me to verify I brought the TV I was recycling, from my home. Then I could get paid for the TV. After almost two months, I finally received a call asking where the TV came from. Two weeks pass and still, no word from this place about receiving payment. So I call them. The person that answered the phone says the day I turned in the TV is the day I got paid for recycling my TV!

They close whenever they want. We came at 4 on a Saturday when the schedule says 5:45pm closing time and they were all filing out. We asked if they were closed and the guys told us they close if they aren't busy. Why bother putting up a schedule then? Not coming here again.

The cashier is supposed to be back in at 12:15 but she's on her phone and not attending to what she is doing not really good service here plus there is old people waiting here out in the hot sun trying to hurry back so yea not a good place probably refer somewhere else

Beats Wilmington in convenience but not price, but, only for a cent per lb so that's not bad. We came here because of the long train crossing Alameda as we were going south and can't get to Wilmington. We went to Alameda instead for convenience and to our surprise we breezed through the line and then we're done. Just the same time the train finished crossing the road. I'll come back here again...definitely.

I went in on a Sunday it was one of the only recycling centers around me that was open so I liked that it opens on Sundays. I'm giving this 3 stars. Out of the 4 people that attended me one behind the counter who gives out the payout was friendly and helps me because I didint know where to enter with my truck full of aluminum metals, the second guy who was on the forklift helpd me nicely aswell brought me a container for me to unload the third guy was a 20ish year old guy who was helping people weight theire aluminum cans and plastic was cool to I asked him how much were they paying the clean aluminum he said 35 cents a pound I thought it was a lil low but I was already there and the container was there to so I unloaded it then I went on a separate scale were the fourth guy helped me weight my aluminum so this is were I got really angry I asked the guy how much pounds was it he told me 332 pounds and I told him how much are you paying it to me he told me 30 cents! I told him Really? Because I just asked the guy on the scale and he told me 35 cents a pound for clean aluminum! I laughed when he said mumbling "ok I can do 35 cents" Really!! How do I even know he deducted pounds from my aluminum!?! Since he wasent an honest person! He was a really thin guy he was really skinny and above I would say 45 years old be aware of you do decide to go there! I should have gone the next day to were I usually unload they pay 50 cents a pound! I would have gotten 50 dollars more! I just really needed my truck free of space so that's why I decided to unload that day. Never coming here again! And I hope you can try other places than this one.

Great prices! Great organization. If you go on the weekend be prepared to wait in line and parking might be a challenge. Going during the week is the best time to go.
