If i could give a lower rating I would. Their customer service is horrible. They do not pick up our trash randomly and then tell me it is my fault for not having my trash out by 6am when I am telling them it was out the night before. They only say that the driver reported it was not out. No courtesy pickup has EVER happened when they tell me they will try to get back out to pick it up and no credits to my bill for missed service. DO NOT HIRE this company.

Horrible service. I wish there was a local spot, I guess Centerton is just too small. Going on second week and paid bill but trash is still not picked up.

Prepay for Service but don't expect a refund if you move/cancel, or for them to transfer your balance to your new location if your new service is billed through your new town. They won't even donate the difference on your behalf to your new town/city of residence (they just pocket the money to their bottom line). YET, they will immediately stop picking up your trash if you cancel. They stopped my service b/c I had an auto pay from my account at the first of the month for $17 instead of paying in advance for the quarter. Upon calling to address this issue, a young voice told me it would not be picked up unless I paid for the quarter. I knew I was moving and asked if I could expect a refund if I cancelled, that was confirmed. I drafted the full quarter out of my account that day. When calling back to cancel as I moved a few weeks later, I was told that refunds for prepaids are not "COMPANY POLICY", and that there was no record of my correspondence with the former service rep I spoke toto verify what I was told and that I would not be getting a refund. They however did not pick up my trash that very week. I went ahead and filled the containers since I was still paying them. When calling back today regarding the trash not being picked up they had a definitive record of my last call this time and passed me on to the supervisor, "Laura", who basically told me over and over that refunds are not done, and in the course of the conversation was told that was also not how their employees were trained and that the situation would be dealt with. Unlike the last call, Laura had a record of my first call or at least whom I spoke with, so I was lied to on the first two calls: 1- they don't do refunds like the first girl told me they would, 2- the second person told me they had no record of that call when the supervisor Laura (on the 3rd call) let me know they do have that record and would address the situation with that specific person, but that I am still left paying for the next few months for them to do nothing. The other thing I found out in the course of all of this is that you must adhere to what WM has in place with your particular city. I only wanted recycle service in Lowell, as I recycled 99% of what I threw out, but you can't do one without the other unless you don't want to recycle and not take care of the environment, they are alright with that..................... People, take advantage of your recycling centers and compost what you can so we don't have to deal with this kind customer service from anyone. Oh, and my first week at my new place they failed to pick up my trash there also, so they skipped both of my houses in the same week, which should warrant a double refund................................

Well first off, it took them almost 2 months to get my trashcans to me. They tried to tell me that they were "back ordered" and that they would be there within 5 business days. Once the business days were up, I called again and they lied and tried telling me that they already delivered my trashcans when they didn't! And on top of that, they like throwing my trashcans in the middle of the street on trash day along with everyone else's trashcans. Worst customer service ever.

Their role off dumpster dispatch as well as answering service are liars. For the past 2 weeks, on Wednesdays, I have suddenly been coming home to a big ass roll off dumpster in my driveway, left by mistake, (that I did not request or order) that is so big I have to park in the road AND I can't access my garage. I live in a residential home. I called the first time it happened (the next day because they close at 5 and will not answer calls afterwards, so if they make a mistake and you don't find it until you get home, be ready for that) and they came and got it. The second time, they say they are sending someone 3 different times and I'm still waiting. They are inattentive, mistake filled, and liars! ... Come get your damn dumpster so i can park at my own house! And don't bring it back next Wednesday! This pattern has to STOP! I didn't ask for this!

Waste management does a great job of getting things handled, but like most employers they to have bad days , don't let someone else's bad experiences ruin your day or cause doubt for the waste company you choose . Just remember most services require a signed contract before service begins ..... be informed....read before you sign .

To make a phone payment with the automated system is $5.00 extra!!! If that isn't bad enough, if you want to speak with someone to make a payment, it is $8.00 extra! Something is wrong with that picture!!! WM USED to have good Customer Service & decent prices but they'll get you coming or going nowadays!!

LAZY & SLOPPY....The last 3-4 times they picked up my trash I've had to come home to pick up left over trash being around the area where I left the trash can or blown all over my yard where they didnt get it all dumped out. Today there was still quite a bit of the trash left in the can and once again I had to pick up trash out of my yard that the employee couldnt manage to get dumped into the truck. Keep in mind.. I have the large trash can and it is RARELY ever full. I'm not one to typically leave any kind of review for anything but I'm Highly disappointed in the lack of workmanship that has been portrayed here lately. I will be confronting this employee if this issue doesnt get resolved.

I'd like to thank you so much for hassling my parents, who own a small business, for MONTHS regarding a bill that never should have been charged in the first place. And for adding onto it diligently every single month without just cause. In addition to automatically renewing their contract with your company, you refused to provide them a copy of this to them so that they would have the chance to cancel per your terms. Your questionable business practices prompted me to check with the Better Business Bureau, where I found that we are not the only people who have had issues with you so extreme that we felt the need to file a formal complaint. A healthy portion of these are due to billing issues as well as problems with your service, or likely lack thereof. I can sympathize with what I assume are these former customers of yours. You can expect a review with accolades at this same level on every site I can find. I'd like to note this still have not been taken care of and it has been ongoing since October 2014. Your service and complaint management/rectification are ever-so-appropriately GARBAGE.

The customer service on phone is nice but the actual place that picks up is horrible. We put in new service for our new house and we are going on two weeks of no pick up. I have called the customer service twice and am told they did a error report and they would be by and pick up. It’s the next day and no trash pick up, I call back and now they are telling me the trash guy reported they were here today and no trash was here.

Ever since Waste Management took over our trash service, it has been nothing less of a nightmare. The Monday before Thanksgiving, Waste Management came and picked up my trash and recycling containers. I had not received any letters or phone calls stating there were any issues with my account. I thought perhaps we were getting new containers, so I waited until the following week to see if new containers would be delivered. I called the following Friday to find out they had a "billing error" for my entire neighborhood, and none of us received a bill for the October-December cycle. Since they had made the error, they kindly had me pay $84 to them to cover the October-December quarter as well as a reinstatement fee. I told the CSR that I expected my containers to be delivered back to me the following week as it was their error, and I was not only having to pay for their error by paying a reinstatement fee, but also had been without trash service for two weeks.The rep advised me it would take up to two weeks to get my containers back and she apologized for the inconveniences and would waive the reinstatement fee, and would take the money paid for reinstatement and apply it to my account as a credit on my next bill. She also stated they were behind on getting containers to customers because they had ran out and were expecting a shipment to be received soon - hence the two week wait for new containers. I waited the two weeks and still no containers. Here we are, 4 weeks after they took my containers in error due to their own billing mistakes and lack of communication regarding their mistakes. I have now had to go out and purchase a large trash bin so we had a place to put our trash as we were having issues with animals getting into our trash, and we had also purchased a large plastic tote to place our recycles in - another issue because if Monday happened to be windy, you can imagine what happened to our recycles. I call back and speak with a different rep and am told once again they are receiving a shipment of containers that week and I will have containers back within two weeks. I advise them this is completely unacceptable and explain what has already taken place. The rep apologizes, tells me there's nothing she can do, and to call back in two weeks if the containers have not been received. Low and behold, 3 weeks later, still no containers. I waited until after the holidays, giving them the benefit of the doubt since the schedules were a little off due to Christmas & New Years. I call back yesterday, 01/04, and speak to yet another rep who seems to know nothing about my account and the troubles I have been experiencing, despite the fact the previous reps advised they are notating my account. I have to explain to yet another person everything that has occurred. I tell her there is a $15 balance on my current statement and I expect it to be credited since I have been out my full trash service for 8 weeks now. She speaks with the manager and comes back to tell me they can go ahead and issue the credit. Our conversation rolls on, and I advise her I want my containers back that day because I have waited long enough and I was tired of excuses and being given a run around. She speaks with dispatch and comes back to tell me it'll be impossible to deliver them same day. I tell her they have 48 hours to deliver them to me or I would be coming up to the facility to speak directly with a manager. She tells me she will go ahead and have a manager call me, but it'll be a couple of hours as all the managers are now in a meeting that typically lasts until 12:00. The manager finally calls me back around 2:00 and advises me the containers will be dropped the following day. I came home last night and my containers had been delivered. I do not know what kind of business they are running, but taking someone's containers due to the their own error, making them wait 8 weeks to get them back, and giving them the run around phone call after phone call is completely unacceptable. Avoid using Waste Management at all cost.

I moved to springdale last week and put out my recycling and trash but my recycling bin was left full. I called 3 times about getting my recycling bin picked up due to a missed pick up and I was promised 3 times they would send someone out asap. When 2 days later my trash can was still full. Come to find out they did not send any one and they only pick up every other Tues. Apparently only one person in the office is aware of pick up times for springdale recycling. I find it sad that the city discourages recycling by limiting pick ups. It was a waste of time in the whole situation. Ruth

I contracted Waste Management for a demolition job and will NEVER work with them or recommend them to anyone again. They never showed up when they said they would and forced me to drag out what should have been a 2 day job, to a whole week. Drivers are inexperienced as well and had trouble backing up during pick up... Save your money, work with someone else!
