It is exactly what the name is: a "u-pull-it" used parts. Sure beats the old days of slopping through mud trying to get parts from upsidedown cars/cars in weeds/cars under cars etc. You get what you pay for. They don't have history on the engine/transmission/axle condition so your rollin the dice on those. If you want higher quality, go to the salvage yards that pull the parts for you. Remember these cars are someone elses junk/ wreck/ generally abused cars. Im sure they don't pay as much for the cars so they don't get the cream of the crop. Also remember the shade-tree mechanics are going to bee ther most everyday, so they know whats new. Things get picked over pretty quick. Its great for smalls like connectors/trim/bolts/etc. But remember-if its broke on your 10-15 yr old car, its probably broke on the junker too. My wife calls it the man mall....Word of advice, do your research on your car and what part your needing before going.Plenty of forums on popular makes and models. AND bring basic hand tools.......I can't even begin to count how many people I see wandering around holding a piece of paper and not carrying a single tool. Here I am with my 2 toolboxes gloves and pushing a wheelbarrow. I don't really have time to remove a starter/alternator/transmission for you. I have my own project.

They have a price list so you will know what the part costs. I have been there many times and I haven't had any problems with the staff. I go to U Pull It before I go to the other salvage yards. They just started a $1.00 a day warranty for parts. Not bad if you plan on fixing your vehicle within a couple of days.

This place will rip you off if you let them! I went there and got a print out of the cars that had the same transmission as mines, so I pull one from a make and model that was on the print out. So knowing that I just bought an used transmission I went and bought a converter the same day and turned in the old one for a core. So once I had my transmission in my car taken out I found out it was the wrong one! Therefore I talked to the manager there and let him know my situation and he act very unconcern and told me without the old converter there was nothing he could do. This is the second time I have been there and was given an inaccurate print out it won't be a third because I would never deal with these guys again! It's best to buy parts new I learned the expensive way!

Majority of the time everything goes smooth....they charge 1$ a day for a part warranty and if you decline even on a non function part they refuse to let you get the correct part once you pay...so if you get the wrong tail light and notice once you get to the lot your screwed...also today 01/16/18 they closed unexpectedly without notice saying it was due to inclement weather...I had been on the ground in 17 degree weather on and off to be told time to go with one bolt left

Leaving from there because another guy told me $50 for the part.Went to U pull it,paid my $2,and it only took me 7 minutes to pull my own spoiler.the price had made my friggin day!$11.21!!!from $100...or $50....

I'm in there quite frequently, and I've never had a problem. I am restoring an old car and find myself needing small parts on a regular basis. I purchase a bit, but am always thankful that I'm not even charged for some of the smaller stuff,..like wiring pigtails, etc. These people go out of their way to help, over and over again. To those who moan and groan,...put yourself behind the counter here. This is Memphis. There are many who will try to lift parts without paying. (surprise!?) Dealing with this element has to get tiring. Maybe I'm treated so well, because I OFFER to pay for everything I get! Even small wire connectors are pulled outta my pocket for payment. Folks...thats just being honest. Many will be the first to scream at an honest shopkeeper mistake, while they have shop parts in their pocket!!! Do unto others, is a good practice. You'll be welcomed here, and save a bunch of money.

Bought several parts here to fix up my junky craiglist car. Got a nifty white-face "Touring package" instrument cluster for my 2000 corolla for $20 and the temp sensor for the outside temp display for $2.50. Nicely arranged yard, they do a good job of keeping the scatters from the customers in check (hate when people leave a mess, and destroy parts that others could use).

$2 entry fee and a hand stamp so you can get back in for the day. Organized yard with every car on a stand. Gravel roads so you don't have to wall through the mud. Offers warranty on all parts. You pay $1 a day per part for the warranty. So if the part doesn't work you can bring it back and get a refund or exchange it. That's the best part!!!!

Great place! 8:AM-5:30PM $2.00 to get in. They have a line for the check in computer terminal that inventories the Autos and parts listed by rows. They found a Nissan Versa Note 2014 Row 235 Moved on to the row on 17 Aug 2018, While there a couple autos down I found a Nissan Century I could not access neither of the tires, Seems the damage was to great to to the rear of the auto to be access the spare tires without tools for pulling the dents or the rear ends. I found a spare Toyota like brand new spare donut only it was size 14in. That was to small I left it behind. Just make sure you bring your tools and coveralls, The used Nissan Versa 2015 I bought was sold to me with three lug nuts on each wheel and a Donut worn down to the belts all the way around Size 15in. Jim Keras Nissan dealer parts shop wants $317.23 Tire and Rim. Sold as separate parts together, Then you still have to take them somewhere else to get them mounted they won't mount them there. I've been going there for years for parts on domestic cars and trucks and can honestly say I've never had a problem. I've always been treated well and fairly by the folks there and not only do I find the prices very reasonable, a lot of times they don't even charge me for small items such as knobs, switches and little bits of trim. They do charge $1 for the optional warranty, but I can understand why they'd do that. As far as problems, I find that if you are polite and explain yourself they can be very accommodating - but if you try to tell them what to do, they'll tell you where to go! Given their typical clientele I can see why they'd be a bit prickly by default until they get to know someone. If I had to name something that needs improvement I'd have to say they leave the vehicles on the lot too long. Many's the time I've gone looking for parts with a list of a dozen or two matches on the lot, only to find mostly picked-clean carcasses. A minor nit is the wheelbarrows. While I appreciate that they provide them, anything heavy and/or oddly shaped can be very difficult to keep balanced. Some kind of four-wheeled cart or wagon would make much more sense in terms of convenience and safety.
