Been needing a folding ladder, but could rationalize the hefty cost for occasion use. ABC had one for less than half the best sale. Picked up a good quality furniture dolly and some Wolfgang Puck and Revereware pots and pans. All total....$50.00. Merry Christmas to me!!. I may return tomorrow. Saw a few items I didn't have time to check out.

Fast, easy, and fair. There's a lot going on in the salvage yard. You have to pay attention or you might bump into something or someone. I was in and out inside of 15 minutes. That included recieving payment.

Pretty sure they shorted my weight, had a 30 foot gooseneck loaded with cans that were crushed. They said I only had 500 pounds. They need to show you the before and after weight

Treated like a criminal trying to sell scrap. Not shown weight of scrap during weigh in, and tare out of your recepticales. You only see weight at pay window. I suspect weights amounts I can't observe.

If I could I would give this business no stars. We took a HUGE metal trailor up there. And they refused it because of the wooden floor. He wouldn't look inside or under it. Not to mention he was a huge jerk about it all. And not to mention it was the owner. Won't ever be doing business here again.

This was a cool experience watching the truck pick up all our scape and dumping it. They were easy to find and friendly staff. Now I know it is hard to fix this, but only issue was the big ruts left from the heavy machine that was muddy and they guy had me park where I could not get out without sinking in mud and he walked away before I could let him know. There were other places he could have had me parked

I have read other not so favorable reviews on Google. I have not had any unpleasant or unfair experiences at this scrap yard. I am rather new to recycling materials, however, out of the two other scrap yards that I have been to in the central Arkansas area I have had the most helpful experience at ABC Salvage.

I gave 4 stars and I will tell you why...Pete!! He was very professional and polite even though he seemed to be workin that scrap line all on his own. It was backed up --as seems par for this salvage/scrap yard. Pete took the time to let us know that if we were to separate more of our scrap that we could have gotten more bang for our buck. I respect him for that. I also respect him in return for respecting us. No bad attitude or bad vibe detected !!! Just wish we could see the weights to confirm our guesses other than just on the receipt . A large scale visible to their clients would be nice...Otherwise I will return back here again and again because of Pete!

TL;DR Review: I don't know anything about salvage/scrap, but this place seemed nice enough. Everybody was helpful and patient. I've never been here before. I went to the wrong place and was redirected. They had me back in to sell my cans. I put the cans on a scale and was asked for my DL. I supplied it and was told to take the same ID to the cashier to be paid. And I was paid. Here's the thing. Maybe I should have shopped around to see if they were offering a competitive or standard exchange on cans? I had two large coffee cans full of pull tabs I'd been collecting for years. Yes, years. I also had a bag of cans my kids put together that morning. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting much, but I WAS expecting more than $2.10. That was not only not worth me helping my kids dig through the recycling bin that morning, but not worth pulling the tabs from years of my wife's Diet Coke cans while she rolls her eyes. Previously (and yeah, this was probably five years ago) I'd been paid $6 for one of those coffee cans of pull tabs. Anyway, to cut down the length of this review, I feel like I should have made sure that the exchange rate here was typical if not the best in town. It might be, might not be; but I felt like my time and effort was wasted.

I find ABC to fairly quick and easy. The assessment of your metal is straight forward and no fuss. Being open on Saturday is also a plus.
