Was here last Fall to enroll in classes.
When I first got there I was beyond confused and whoever tried to help me was RUDE and didn't seem to know what she was doing, so they had to find someone else who did know what they were doing. We began drafting a class schedule and after doing so, I was informed that it was too late to file for financial aid so I told them that I could not go through with the enrollment process because I had no other way to pay for these classes other than financial aid. SO I was made aware that the enrollment would be cancelled. Well... 10 months later they have referred me to the DOR for debt collection of $800. I am irate to have contacted their financial aid office, to be told by Melissa that I am obligated to pay for these classes because I was enrolled in them, even though I was told the day I was there that the enrollment would be cancelled by the staff member who was working with me. They apparently sent billing statements in the mail over the course of these past several months and emails. However, I've moved a few times since then, so my address wasn't updated. AND I NEVER got any emails from them regarding a balance or billing statement.
I explained to them what the circumstance was and that I should not owe them anything. I also mentioned that I would move forward with legal action if this problem is not resolved (because they made it clear that this was MY obligation) and I'm assuming that's why they are not answering my email. See you in court :)
