Nwtc is a great place to be. It's comfortable. It feels like your at home and the intractors are very helpful and they guide you step by step.

The facilities and campus are expanding and adding additional amenities. The teachers are great, for the most part. The academic advising and assistance are terrible. Only bad experiences with the offices.

Crooked school. I was in the X-ray program 1 year all straight A's never missed a day & was given a F in clinical for some b.s. that happened & well I'm low man on the Tottum pole so blamed it on me. I Appealed it all the way to the top and those jerks still wouldn't change it to a withdrawal instead of a F. Even had techs from the clinical site come fight for me. It's a joke here, ohh not to mention now I have a permanent F on my transcripts. Thanks for ruining my career! Terrible awful experience..don't trust this school whatver you do!

The Technical College is the best place of 'higher education' where graduates can actually learn a trade, get a job and get out of school without being over burdened with debt. This school is clean, modern and centrally located. However, the nursing school backlog is horrendous! Also, do we really need a 'casino management' program partially funded with our property taxes?

The new veteran s resource center is great. The new veteran representative is extremely helpful. Little to no work on the student/Veterans part to get going in classes. HIGHLY recommended..!

Really really love this college because lots of the teachers care and they have lots of resources! Walk in tutoring and one on one tutoring if requested. If you take English comp take it with Valerie because she's super helpful and knows a lot!

Was here last Fall to enroll in classes. When I first got there I was beyond confused and whoever tried to help me was RUDE and didn't seem to know what she was doing, so they had to find someone else who did know what they were doing. We began drafting a class schedule and after doing so, I was informed that it was too late to file for financial aid so I told them that I could not go through with the enrollment process because I had no other way to pay for these classes other than financial aid. SO I was made aware that the enrollment would be cancelled. Well... 10 months later they have referred me to the DOR for debt collection of $800. I am irate to have contacted their financial aid office, to be told by Melissa that I am obligated to pay for these classes because I was enrolled in them, even though I was told the day I was there that the enrollment would be cancelled by the staff member who was working with me. They apparently sent billing statements in the mail over the course of these past several months and emails. However, I've moved a few times since then, so my address wasn't updated. AND I NEVER got any emails from them regarding a balance or billing statement. I explained to them what the circumstance was and that I should not owe them anything. I also mentioned that I would move forward with legal action if this problem is not resolved (because they made it clear that this was MY obligation) and I'm assuming that's why they are not answering my email. See you in court :)

I hate these religious institutions of secular humanism and resent having my tax dollars go to support funding public schools that squelch religious beliefs and free speach. I think we need to start defunding public institutions that have blatant religious biggotry such as this one. If valantines offend someone that say "you are special 1 John 4:11" that person has issues. Let alone making people go to security for these "horrendously offensive action" (input sarcasm). The constitution of the United States say "freedom of religion" not "freedom from religion;" in addition, the only people these schools catertoo is the secular humanist... so basically we are being forced, as tax payers, to support the religious institutions of secular humanism.

Failed my first semester because they're supposed to tell you the books you need and who you're supposed to go for support, etc. they never told me the books I needed. They were late with financial aid so I couldn't get books for that semester until it was nearly done. They make themselves sound great but the instructors are NOT understandable and they don't help you.

The flexibility within the learning schedule was ideal for my work and active lifestyle.

I've recently graduated from the Web Development & Design program and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Compared with my experiences at UW Stevens Point, the coursework was far more challenging and comprehensive, yet the small class sizes made it easy for everyone to interact with instructors and their classmates comfortably during lecture and one-on-one. The instructors are truly experts in their craft and are always willing to help you when you are in need. They are truly there to help you succeed and genuinely care about your future. I'm walking out of NWTC knowing that the skills I've learned are going to help me land a job, start my career, and quickly transition into any position within my field.

The building is not very inviting because it is so big, but once you get in and figure out what's where it becomes less intimidating. I graduated here with my associate's degree in Leadership. 60 of my credits transferred from NWTC to Concordia University of Wisconsin. I preferred the video conference classes. My favorite instructors were Tod Perrault and Andrew Clark.

How could this school over charge its students for textbooks and schooling related materials. Bought a scantron for the test for $45. The problem is NWTC staff make photocopies of the scantron for 11 cents each, and turn around to sell it for their own students for $45! We cannot bring our photocopy scantron in for the test. What a ripoff! Many students have complained about this over charge problem, but their voices are not heard! Be aware! Stay away!!

I love how they keep the students & community involved. I have 2 diplomas from NWTC & wished they offered a bachelor's diploma.
