My three children have excelled in this diverse community of learners. Our family appreciates how all denominations are welcome here and that each student is encouraged and supported through deep, caring relationships with faculty, staff, and peers. Our eldest left EMS well-prepared academically, socially, and spiritually and with a strong sense of who she is as a person and what differences she can make in the lives of others. Yes, her top-notch, holistic education enabled her to be accepted in every competitive college of her choice, but we're actually more proud of the emotional intelligence she gained and the values of empathy and community she learned from her time here. We can't thank EMS enough for being our partners on this educational journey!

I'm thrilled to have my kids at this school (in every division). The classes are challenging and the teachers knowledgeable. They always make time for the students no matter what other demands are on their time. My kids were doing "fine" at their old school but blossomed when they came to EMS. Arts, math, music, science, writing and reading skills are all fostered. Kids can ask challenging questions, take leadership on projects that would not be given light or time of day in other settings.

We moved from Williamsburg, VA in 1992 so we could send our children to Eastern Mennonite School. Now our grandchildren are attending and we couldn't be more pleased with the academic curriculum and the music, both vocals and strings, wind and percussion instruments. The school accreditation is excellent and it accepts children of any faith or nationality.
