Boy has ‘impure thoughts’, blames cheerleaders’ skirts, school punishes cheerleaders Joseph Patrick McCormick 4th October 2016, 8:11 PM A school has been criticised after punishing a whole cheerleading squad after a male student said he was distracted by their short skirts. The student at Timpview High School had “impure” thoughts after seeing the squad in their uniforms, People reports, and so his mother wrote to the school and complained. After the formal complaint was made, rather than helping the male student to deal with the thoughts, the Utah school’s administrators appear to have punished the whole cheerleading squad. Administrators told the cheerleading coach at the school, who told the 44-strong cheerleading squad that they should not wear their uniforms on match day. One cheerleader told Fox 13 that she thought the school was “almost supporting a rape culture”. Another of the squad told People: “It’s giving this boy power that when he grows up and does something to a girl, he can blame it on her skirt being too short. “It really made me angry. Why should this boy have control over what we wear?” But the school district has denied that the squad was told not to wear their uniforms. A spokesperson for the Provo School District told Fox 13 that was not the case, but People reports that the administration is attempting to “find out exactly what the cheerleaders were told”. One of the cheerleaders’ parents said: “I was shocked when my daughter came home and told me, ‘We can’t wear our uniforms on game day. They’re giving boys’ dirty thoughts.’ “I want the school to have a meeting with all of the cheerleaders and all of the parents, and I want our girls to walk out of that meeting with their heads held high. This boy’s problem has nothing to do with them.” Recently, the state of Georgia said that it’s legal to take photographs up a woman’s skirt without their permission.

Although I have never been here before, I can see this school has some fantastic potential. From the classes to the views. I would give it a 10 star if i could, however. google wouldn't let me do that. I hope to visit one day. <3 papa bless, appreciate ya!

This school is a cancer on Provo. The homework level is completely ridiculous, and the teachers seem to take pride in ruining students' GPAs. The school can only boast of one great teacher: Mr Stevenson. The rest are sociopaths. The counselors are not invested in the students, to them each student is a slab of cardboard. The only thing keeping me from giving it one star, is the great Cross Country and Track Team. They are the only organization that can keep students sane. After putting up with the teacher's insanity for 7 hours, full rage is what motivates the team to run fast, and well. The bottom line is that Timpview must begin cleaning house, and firing its terrible teachers, and getting counselors who actually care. It is true that the bathrooms are disgusting, at least the worst in the state.

Went to both Provo High School and Timpview High, and I did not very much enjoy Timpview, the teachers were not at all passionate and the students were all self absorbed pretentious people

Nate Warner is a counselor at Timpview High. Moms, especially single Moms, be warned that he will go behind your back to your children, sometimes about you. He thinks he's a psychologist because he is a high school counselor, and questioned my children and told them, in front of me, that I was "the problem" when I let him have access to my family and home. He questioned my children at home and at church about their care at home. He texted my children to come meet him at his home when he refused to talk to me or come to my home. He bragged to the teenage boys at church that he had helped a mentally disabled man in our church group buy a truck without his wife's knowledge and hide it at his house. If you are a single Mom, Nate can be your worst nightmare!

I attended it 2005 it was the year from hell, If you watch netflix "13 Reasons why" this pretty much sums up the types of kids I went to school with. Rich kids that got away with anything. Parents in denial. Segregation and bullying, pills were stolen from parents daily and traded like baseball cards. A fellow freshman was pressured into suicide and succeeded. Stop having kids the planet is overpopulated with preppy spoiled rich kids.

Timpview was great, i went there for all of high-school and had a wonderful social, educational and spiritual time there. I will be ever indebted to some of the teachers there for changing my life for the better. Thank you Timpview!
