The administration and resource officer do an amazing job of caring about bullying and keeping it to a minimum. The teachers are excellent. The concurrent enrollment team makes it easy for students to earn college credit while still in high school.

I cannot go to the bathrooms during classes because packs of bandits roam the halls. they are dangerous and VERY protective of their territory. they call themselves the PG Marauders and they will ravage for any penny of lunch money. one time this little sophomore kid billy, unbeknownst, walked into one of their hallways alone, he's different now. that day changed him

The teachers are all really nice except Ms. Snow and the human component is awesome, but the simple fact is the internet teaches everything 100x's better. I mean every single lesson I had I just ended up going to YouTube.

There's so much tradition at this school. The athletics are excellent. The faculty are skilled and attentive to the students. Like any other school students will get out of their experience why they put into it.

People say high school is the best 4 years of your life. Those people must have gone to a different high school. You go into high school with very high expectations but immediately you notice the lack of sporadic singing and dancing. I suppose it's possible that this only occurs in the school Troy Bolton went to but this seems very unlikely to me. Also very few people seemed to wear pink on wednesdays. I will give this school credit for teaching me a lot but I must admit that with the rise of the internet it seems quite obsolete. I can honestly say I have learned more from Google and Wikipedia than I did in all my years of school. Also you'll probably learn very few real life skills here. I personally still have no idea how healthcare or taxes work. All in all, I wouldn't not come back.

The teachers are so clueless, you sluff and they don't even notice... You can even get A's so easily, even if you turn absolutely nothing in! Pleasant Grove High School does a pretty good job of living up to its name. Although there are many things that could be improved, such as the excessive swearing and ghetto gyms, the overall experience is rather pleasant. I would definitely recommend this school over places like Timpanogos High School and Oak Canyon Junior High School. Pleasant Grove High School has a long heritage of being a High School. It has existed in one for or another for over one hundred years. Although the students and mascots have changed over the years, a sense of tradition and longevity endures. Although there are definitely cliques, they are not as present as they are at many other High Schools, and the atmosphere is definitely better because of it. A sense of unity and acceptance is formed; and although there are many different types of people, there isn't very much contention in the halls. One minor pet peeve I have at this school is that its designers didn't do a very good job diffusing the flow of traffic in the halls. In one part of the school, the hall is incredibly crowded. This is in part because many people, for some unknown reason, decide to stop and chat in the most crowded part of the school. However, the blame cannot solely be placed on those inexplicable students. The designers clearly had a major oversight when building the building. It can be argued that this happened because of the multiple add-ons to the school. But an oversight is an oversight, and the people who built the new part of the school should have factored overcrowding into their designs.

This school has come such a long way! A lot of the school, parking lot, and the football field have been renovated or added to so there is a lot of new facilities. Located right next to the city pool and community center so the school has programs and classes that other schools don't. Academics is great, lots of AP and distant education classes for students to take. Sports programs are good, currently number 1 in the state for 5A wrestling and volleyball! Students and teachers are generally friendly, there are a few stuck up kids but you can find that at any school. Administration is awesome too, I loved Mrs. Wilson!! Overall it is a good school, although it dose lack a few programs that other schools usually have like its own driving range and auto shop classes! I'm sure they will add those in the future though!

I would have rated this school maybe even less than 1 stars from when I attend over 15 years ago, especially all the trailers we had to endure for classes without AC and the teachers didn’t seem to really care back then. But now this school has changed, they are now top notch, have great teachers from what I hear, many after school activities and thank the lord they remodeled the school and did away with all the trailers. I have had several family members and friends siblings that go there now and they love this school and all the programs they offer. I just wish they would have done all that long, long ago when I attended. Two thumbs up
