Granger High is a great school, the teachers, administrative, and staff are all wonderful! The school has over 3,000 thousand student and the school is very diverse. The cafeteria ladies in there also do a very good job and may even give you extra food if you have 3rd lunch and are last in line. (The only warning I have is, if you have Mrs. Peterson for math you better switch out because she does not do well at her job.) For Granger High being a 3 year old school, some of the area's on the campus are dirty. Other than that, Granger High School is a great place!

My experience at Granger High school has been wonderful. I loved going to school and being involved in a diverse community. There is an atmosphere that no other school can provide like that of Granger. Taking the most of the opportunities that are given makes the school a great place to learn.

I love Granger High School. It's my Alma Mater. The Harlem Wizards were in town giving us the opportunity to go see the new gymnasium. It looks like a high school gymnasium alright! :) They played a FABULOUS Game!! The other team: the Teachers were fantastic!! The Harlem players were a hit with all the kids age zero to 100. We laughed and laughed. Ate loaded hot dogs with the works! We bought souvenirs, got autographs, and pictures. We loved it!! We'll do it again soon.

It's been over 49 years since my time at GHS, but the school was filled with excellent teachers, administrators, and students. The school has changed massively over the intervening years, and is now ready for a brand new building that will be finished in time for the 2013-14 school year. As the old building finishes out the 2012-13 schedule, I look back and realize that the demographics have changed, but the spirit of old GHS will never die. I was Class of '63. This wonderful old school was loosely based on King Arthur's Court, its mascot has always been a fully armored knight on horseback...a Lancer. Memories cling to that old brick facade, and it will be hard to see it demolished to make way for the new parking lot...but all good things morph into better things, they say.

Will be graduating from here (2k18). Lunchroom lines are awful (likely due to the table placement), and they try to find anything to charge you for. Overall, diverse school with a wonderful library and dedicated teachers.

If you’re worried about your teens safety, during my three years here, I witnessed ONE fight, it was during my senior year and it lasted a minute because the faculty quickly got involved and stopped it. There’s never been a shooting in the last 10 years prior to this review, most likely because of the schools diverse student body (something they pride themselves on and boast about it at EVERY assembly. Someone actually made a meme about it all credit goes to them)

Traffic through here is horrible. Its not that there is too many cars, its that the people are horrible drivers. They will cut you off just because they are in a hurry. There are kids who cross without looking or not in the cross walk just running in front of cars. I don't even think kids would stop doing it if one was hit by a car. They are ruthless, careless, and disrespectful to other drivers (flipping off and swearing). Cars just park in the middle of the dang street blocking all of traffic going south. Overall, id have to say its the majority of the community who create such a horrible image (traffic wise, kids disrespectful) and hassle to deal with. I don't look forward to driving to Granger everyday. There is no organization and no respect from others. Glad there are always other educational options besides Granger.

Old school was fine but the new school made things more vivid and feel appealing, and for all the students and staff members of GHS. The only thing that concerns me are Freshmen students being mixed with adult aged students. Most of the Senior's are becoming role models for the freshman's, and most of it might lead to bullying, mainly cause problems at school. Most freshman are always trying to impress and look cool. Yet I'm glad I graduated from GHS, Class of 2014

The new school building is Amazing! Granger High is indeed one of those type of schools where diversity plays a huge role. Lots of school spirit, great faculty staff, in most cases everyone here is very nice to each other. Roughly 2,000 to 3,000 students attend every year, I truly give my full-respect to those faculty staff members for putting up all these stressful years. The reason why I gave this 4/5 stars is because some faculty members (most likely the sports & theater) chooses their favorite students and give them undeserving positions every year. Its indeed unfair, points out the harsh reality, and it makes me cringe every time I see that kind of stuff.
